Very interested to see how he uses McCain with Edgecombe and Maxey – will be nice for those two not to have to go 40+ minutes every night but the three of them on the court together is probably not doable so end of game situations will be interesting. This assumes McCain is as good as he showed last year.

  7. No brainer on exercising McCain’s team option year.

    Conversely, remember when Markelle Fultz delayed himself getting back on the court to make sure the Sixers would exercise his rookie contract team option? He was afraid the Sixers would sniff out he couldn’t play.

  8. I know they may not be on the court all together all the time, but the idea of Maxey/VJ and healthy McCain/Jo/PG is 👀

  9. Has there been a timetable discussed for his return? I don’t remember hearing anything but am desperate to see him back on the court.

  11. What is the advantage to exercising the option early? Anything other than making the player happy?
