  1. Billups and Jones are accused of rigging games in at least 4 locations in NY and at least one in Vegas.

    Lue being at a different table at the Vegas game at the Aria — a casino that Lue practically lives at — isn’t evidence of much.

    We don’t even know whether the game at the Lue’s table was rigged, much less whether Lue knew about it.

  7. I saw Wemby in the Aria poker room during Summer League this year, I think it’s probably best we remove him from the league as well for the integrity of the game.

  10. Look maybe he isn’t involved but I have to imagine the NBA is worried about Lues gambling habits. That’s like step 1 to getting yourself into a position where someone leans on you to fix games. And a coach would be in a hell of a position to influence outcomes

Based on his tone watching this whole thing, it does feel like hes indirectly saying Lue is suspicious which I understand some people might find irresponsible, but personally I appreciate when people share information when they have it, idk. Especially because the all of the parties digging into this topic or doing ‘investigations’ (NBA, FBI, prob Pablo himself will have some kind of agendas obviously.

  16. When Torre said he called Clippers PR for comment I had so much fun imagining how that call went.

    I’m sure they started by reminding him that they’ve said all they’re going to say about Ballmer, Aspire and Kawhi. Then he must have assured them that he’s not calling about anything related to that. Cue a pause where the rep takes an audible sigh of relief while Pablo struggles to hold in his laughter before deadpan launching into a question about Ty Lue, poker, and the FBI.

  18. It’s very interesting the aria was mentioned.  I did see Ty lue at aria last summer 2024 playing craps on the casino floor. They gave him a special seat right by the table next to the ice cream shop and the casino lounge bar. He was seemingly by himself though, just with a casino host. And it was right after summer league ended. Honestly didn’t look like he was suspicious but he didn’t seem like he was having a good time

  31. Ty Lue is a recurring character, aka a person who was there. It matters what he was doing there and if he was involved in the conspiracy. If he wasnt, this is a whole lot of nothing and pretty irresponsible of Torre.

  34. No surprise. Ty and Chauncey are best friends. They’ve definitely played poker together. I’d definitely bet Ty has participated in one of these illegal games, now if they can prove that is a different story

  36. If you didn’t watch the episode, he doesn’t go too deep into Ty Lue and instead of focuses on that clown that sounds like Joe Pescie.

    Given the record, this feels like Pablo is dangling the Ty Lue reveal so people can make more foolish statements before he unleashes all the stuff he’s found out.

  37. Some of us are old enough to remember when Clippers fans were directing a chant at Portland because of Billups who is apparently best friends and gambling buddies with their own coach Lue… oh well at least there are no other controversies surrounding their team.
