  3. Can’t help but think Necas has fully bought in, and realized that playing with Nate on his line is the PERFECT place for him.

  8. I am now going to be watching Mikko and Marty parallel. I think Marty is going to out perform Mikko, just by playing with MacK and Makar. Unfortunately, nothing will ever be able to take away the sting of last years game 7. A Stanley cup would probably work though

  14. I’m thrilled about the signing and I really like Necas.

    When I first read this quote, “It’s nice to see that trust from them and trust in me, and that’s something new” it initially struck me that all the talk about Necas not being happy with the Avs might have had some basis.

    But this piece makes it clear that he’s referring to a lack of trust by Carolina, and that he’s really happy here.

  17. I might get shit for this but after it’s all said and done, I would have rather had Moose than ultimately saving $500k.

    Necas is without a doubt fun to watch, but I figured we’d get him $8-9 based on his playoff performances.
