Celebrating like it’s game 7 of the finals rn
BADLY needed win even against this dog water team, and loved the effort to fix our defensive mistakes from last game. Shoutout Wendell, JI, and AB, couldn’t have asked for a better performance from any, particularly Wendell “Corner” Jr.
2 separate 6-7 jokes from the announcers felt like the game changer. Mosely is safe for now, but he might have to start taking some of these free throws himself.
Charlotte isn’t exactly the biggest test but nice win. I think Paolo is responding about as well as you could hope for after the very early struggles and criticism.
TDS is him.
Just give Mose COTY and fire him already
What a breath of fresh air, let’s keep this going! Looked better in every regard. The Hornets are still a good offensive team, so this is a nice sign for our defense turning it around especially with Suggs not playing tonight. Love seeing a win where we shoot well from 3!
Much needed W, and good games from Paolo, AB, Dell, Franz and Tristan. Most importantly, the defensive buy-in and energy was way more visible tonight.

Much needed game to shake the cobwebs off for a bunch of guys and the coaching staff. Paolo ft’s still a problem. Bane still looking for his deep ball, but I’m actually confident he’ll get that going eventually. Overall good game with only a couple of moments of stress. Let’s see if they can build off this

Bane just not comfortable weve just been forcing it the past 4 games. Get everyone involved and let him find his place.
Best game of AB’s young career so far, shut down Lamelo most of the night and kept him from blowing up for 40 (holding him to 17), while dropping 20 & 4 stocks himself
I’m just glad to end the losing streak, hopefully every stays locked in for the next game.
P5 20-9-9 on solid efficiency, the main sub not gonna like this
God DAMN we needed that so badly. We’ve seen what this team CAN be, the only question is: can they keep doing it? This needs to be a big momentum swing for the season. Take this and build off it.

*one point of emphasis that I myself have forgotten. The preseason was shortened this year. This would’ve been the NBA opening weekend usually*
Man that was a much needed win.
The good
-AB had himself a game. Was a menace, 90% of the time he was moving instinctively and it paid off.
-Paolo now for two games has flirted with a triple double. He’s playing like Detroit Blake rn and I like it.
-Franz proved me wrong. He stepped up defensively big time. 3pt shooting continues to be great.
-Welcome back Judah. We haven’t seen him affect a game like this in years. Felt fun felt right.
-Penda continues to give us solid minutes as a rookie. I’m still curious what coach is seeing in practice, very excited.
-Tristan has been the unsung hero so far this season.
-Wendell Reese. Never doubted you.
The bad
-we continue to have problems with turnovers. I don’t mind feet being on the line. Much better than lazy passes or getting ripped.
-Bane is still uncomfortable. I’m not worried but I hope he doesn’t start pressing. He’s playing in the flow just without the 3.
-Goga man the fire is gone. We need that back asap.
-Tyus gotta make up for his defensive ability. If he’s going to come in make him push the pace and look to score.

Great effort. Balanced scoring, decent defense, and AB showing us what he can be. Shout out to JI, I still think you’re washed but keep playing like that in short minutes and I might change my mind. TDS is turning out to be a fantastic role player.

Might be only against the Hornets but man that was a huge win we really needed to instill belief on this new system that were running. We really need to just cut our turnovers down and stop fouling so damn much and I think we will be alright
Sometimes you just gotta see one go in, and I hope that applies to this situation.
How this team reacts and adjusts will be much more consequential, for better or worse, than the 1-4 start. Let’s hope that was a bad small sample size and that this continues through the next 4 games (Washington, Atlanta who could be missing Trae, and Boston twice)
