An evening for the ages for Trey that not only saw him set the single game World Series rookie record with 12 strikes outs his 39 Ks this postseason are the most ever by a rookie, breaking Michael Wacha’s previous record of 33 in 2013.
He had total command of that splitter yesterday. Wow.
Legend
His whiff rate is wild. Only one was a called strike.
Like the dodgers and yanks owed him lunch money
I can’t even imagine the psyched up satisfaction he feels when he does that “you’re fuckin out!” post K walk around.

LOL 😁😉
I thought Muncy was coming after the ump with the bat for a second.
Insane. He was only called up to the majors in September.
Also the first pitcher in MLB world series history to have 12 strike outs and no walks!
Edit: added to say world series
Sports Trivia staple question for decades to come
Certified Dodger killer.
someone sync all 12 strikeouts to Kendrick Lamar’s peakaboo:
Double-wind it on the mound, Mr. strike-em-out-the-stands
If you swinging, check your stance, you gonna follow up with fans
Pressure on the neck, but now he in the record books, I’m sayin’, like
Bing-bop-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-bop-bam
All but one was down in the zone/borderline ball. Seems they have a game plan. GO JAYS GO!!!
Literally the greatest pitcher of all time and no, I’m not just being emotional right now! How dare you!
Lets go dodgers, lets go home XD
That guy was on fire last night, good for him. Hope he has a prosperous career
Let’s Go!!!
Trey 9 Savage!!! Trey way lmao
Dodger player walks into the bar, looking worn and drawn out, a haunted expression on his face. He points to the bar and goes and says “ Make it a double.” The Yankee player turns to face the Dodger player, same haunted look and goes, “ You got Yesavaged, didn’t ya?”
Just as impressive as the pitches that secured the K in this video was Yesavage’s masterful set up for them in the pitches to these batters prior.
Totally stymied them by a combination of hard to discern the pitches coming from a common high release point, a splitter that was working very well, and some solid fastball placement.
6 in the strike zone. 6 outside of the strike zone.
As the (paraphrased) commentary said: ‘They know what’s coming-but they’ve never quite seen this flavor of it before’.
amazing
They just got lucky
– Blake Snell.
Kinda sad how hard Dodgers fans are downvoting pro Toronto posts.
the ohtani one with the hat coming off was the best

Yesavage > $1,000,000,000
All of them but one were swinging strike outs.
And it was witnessed live by Sandy MF Koufax!
