Washington Commanders Could Trade CB Marshon Lattimore To The Bears Per ESPN Reporter

Yo, what is up guys? It’s Pedro here and in today’s video I’ll be talking about the rumor that the Washington Commanders could trade cornerback Marshon Latimore to the Chicago Bears. If you guys are new, make sure to subscribe, hit that like button and that notification bell as well so you never miss a video. So, let’s talk about this rumor. This is from Benjamin Solak from ESPN who talked about it. Here’s a Bears account just tweeting it. Uh, but the Bears are a trade sutor for Commander DB Marshon Latimore per uh Benjamin Solak from ESPN. Latimore played with, you know, or for Dennis Allen in New Orleans. And Dennis Allen, I believe, is the defensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints. You know, we know the accolades. He hasn’t done it here, but uh, you know, did have a good game against Kansas City Chiefs. So, definitely got to give him credit for that. You know, had an interception and overall just had a really good game. I don’t remember any big plays against him or penalties called against him. So, he had a good game there. But overall his, you know, his tenure with the Commanders has been very, very disappointing. He has not, you know, lived up to the draft capital that the Commanders had to give up to get him. So, uh, you know, getting anything for Marshon Latimore, in my opinion, would be a pretty good move. Would be a pretty good move. And you know, Chicago Bears, you know, not, you know, not that we can talk any trash because they beat us, but it would be good to give them Marshon Latimore. Uh, you know, definitely would help us to, you know, give it to another team and, you know, give them to the the Bears cuz I don’t I at this point I don’t think Marshon Latimore has a lot in the tank. And the season’s over in my opinion for the Washington Commanders. I mean, Jane Daniels is coming back this week, so we’ll see if that can change things. were three and five though, so it’s it’s going to be very hard for, you know, the commanders to do anything at this point. And, you know, it’s just it’s going to be very difficult. So, if they can get some draft capital for a guy that has been awful for them, I think by all means, you go ahead and do it. All means, you go ahead and do it. You get Marshon L or you trade Marshon Latimore. I don’t know what you would get for him. Even if it’s a seventh, sixth round pick, why not do it? I I wouldn’t be opposed to giving him up for almost nothing. You know, he he hasn’t been good for the commanders. And, you know, you can move players around. You could possibly, you know, have Serill on the outside with Vladimore getting traded, Amos on the outside and then play Jonathan Jones or Noah Igbon in the slot. For me, that’s better. And see if Sanders still actually does play better outside cuz last year he definitely did. And that would be something that, you know, would be good for the commanders because Latimore, he’s older. He’s not a long long-term option here. He’s not a long-term option. You know, he’s going to be a free I don’t know if he’s a free agent or I know for sure he has no guaranteed money left on his deal. So, you know, the Commanders aren’t going to extend him or anything. So, if you can get anything for him, I think you go ahead and do it. Whether that’s a sixth or fifth round pick, I think it makes sense for the Commanders to move on from Marshon Latimore. get anything you can for him and uh you know make some moves on this defense after trading Latimore and see if that helps the defense. I think you you could literally get an addition by subtraction while trading Marshon Latimore. Sorry, I’m a little bit sick, congested. But you trade Latimore and like I said with those moves, you can put Sanders still outside and uh back to where he was at the end of last year where he really balled out and see if that really elevates his play and the defense as a whole’s play. But real quick, a word from today’s sponsor. And a huge shout out to Sleeper for sponsoring today’s video. Make sure you guys check them out. You can win real money with picks. There’s a Thursday night game tomorrow, Ravens versus Dolphins. And obviously the Commanders play Sunday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks. So it’s different games you can put picks on. You can win real money. They have a promo where you can get a free $20 entry into a contest. So you know, really, really good deal there. And you can also use promo code page one sleeper and get 100% match up to a $100. Link in the description. Terms and conditions apply. All right, so again, huge shout out to Sleeper there for sponsoring today’s video. But let’s talk a little bit more about Marshon Latimore, what we can get for him, and some other guys maybe on the trade block. I’m also going to be give making a more detailed video on guys I think the Commander should sell. But Latimore, if you can get anything for him, definitely go ahead and make that move because like I said, the Commanders, even if they somehow, you know, make a miracle turnaround this season, I don’t think Latimore is going to be a part of that. And the Commanders only have six draft picks going into this next year’s draft. They need to get younger, man. And I’m not saying a fifth, sixth, seventh round pick is going to make the biggest difference in the world. But piling up those assets does make a difference in the long run. You can turn, let’s say you get a fifth round pick for Latimore, you get a, I don’t know, a sixth round pick. I’m just throwing stuff out there, guys. I don’t know exactly what the value is, but maybe you get something for Wagner. Maybe you get something for uh if you want to trade Debo Samuel, you get something for him. You can turn those, you know, a couple fifths into a fourth. Stuff like that or use stuff to trade up. So, I’m just saying that these pigs do make a difference. Like, I did like the move that they made to trade Brian Robinson. They got a six round pick out of it, you know, and Brian Robinson, was he going to be a differencemaker this year? No. And a lot of these guys that they could potentially trade are not going to be the difference makers for the rest of the season. And I think it’s better to just move on and trade a lot of these guys. So, you know, Zack Girtz and not only just to get the assets, but also like I like Zach Girtz. He’s cool and he had a great season last year for the Commanders in the playoffs, too. And, you know, has had some good moments this year, but he’s not amazing. He’s not a part of the future. Trade him for any assets you can get. And I just want to see, let me see what Ben Syninn can do. I’m not a big Ben Ben Syninn guy, but let’s see what he can do with tight end one opportunities. I want to see, you know, can he be the tight end of the future right now? I don’t think so. But again, we haven’t seen, you know, if he can get that opportunity. We haven’t Yeah, we just haven’t seen him get that opportunity. So, you know, we haven’t seen if he’s going to be that tight end one uh, you know, has that potential because he hasn’t gotten the opportunity. So if he does, you know, if you can trade and give him that opportunity, maybe he can, you know, perform well. And there’s other, you know, other players like that. Jordan McGee, not trading him, but trading, you know, Bobby Wagner making a move there, even though McGee is already playing more. So moves like that, I think, can make a difference in the future. not only getting picks, but find finding out, you know, an accelerated uh version, just being able to find out these if these guys are part of your future or not. So then you can make better decisions in terms of this off seasonason. All right, what position do we need attack? We know the main positions. Edge rusher is number one. Uh receiver is up there. You know, Terry, he’s been in and out of injuries this year and, you know, who knows what he is in the future. And Debo’s, you know, a free agent. He’s also older and also is dealing with injuries this year and every year. So the receiver room and edge room are the guy are the, you know, position groups that they really need to attack. So uh you know, but other rooms like tight end, linebacker, like you want to see what you know, quarterback room, you want to see which guys you have there that are part of the future. But yeah, Latimore uh did have a really good game on Monday. One target, no catches, interception, 89 PFF grid. if you care about that. I think he was the number one or number two graded player behind Terry McLaren, which of course he’s out for uh this week. And my guess is another two to five weeks. Who knows? At this point, we’ll get a better sense on to tomorrow, I guess, or one of these days when they if they put him on IR. If they put him on IR, then it’s four plus weeks minimum that he’s going to be out. And we haven’t had our bye-week too. So, uh, you know, definitely something to monitor. My guess is, you know, there’s definitely a chance that he could be put on short-term IR. And then, you know, it’s it’s Debo Samuels season and Luke McCaffrey and Jaylen Lyn. I don’t think they should make moves to to sign guys. I do want I don’t know why they haven’t done it yet. I guess the last in the first week, you know, he’s still learning the system. Second week you get Terry and Debo back, but this week I need to see Trayon Burks on the field and you know getting some reps in. I don’t know, you know, it doesn’t have to necessarily be targets. We’ll see. But getting some reps in and I want to see what he can do and see if maybe the commanders found a diamond in the rough, you know, in, you know, free agency. I guess in the waiver uh w I guess it wasn’t even a waiver wire. It was just a signing. So let let’s see if they found something in Tayon Burks and you know they also signed Drake Jackson. Like those are the signings I like, you know, not necessarily signings that are going to help you right away, but signings for the future. So, I hope they continue to make those types of signings. But that’s kind of it. I just want to talk about Latimore, the possibility of it. If you can get anything for him, I would go ahead and do it. I don’t think he’s going to get a lot of money in free agency that would warrant a comp pick. And I think the commander is going to be pretty active in free agency, which will kind of cancel their

  1. Honestly u lose Sunday nite, start to sell, Wagner, Lattimore, Ertz, Debo, Wylie, even Payne if the deal is right.

Payne and Wagner to 49ers for a 2nd rd pick

Wylie and Lattimore to Bears for a 4th rd pick

Debo and a 6th rd pick to Bucs for a 4th rd pick

    Go younger.

  2. Im a huge B Wagner fan, but Ive seen a lot of comments asking him to retire, I wonder what your thoughts on BWagz are? My thoughts is he is a good LB but he gets cooked in coverage and cant cover for his life. He is pretty in the run though.

  3. AP needs to be listening for offers for anybody on that team that isn’t a part of their future plans…… if the deal is right then make the trade. Payne has been playing well this yr and his trade value is probably as high as it’s ever going to be they should strongly consider moving him if a good offer is made.

  4. I think Lattimore is under contract for one more year but no further guarantees left. His name is not listed on Spotrac as a FA in 2026. Looks like we will have about $100 million in projected cap space in ‘26 and looks like Hendrickson is a FA. He’d be a great #1 FA to sign along with WR Pickens from Cowboys. In draft maybe get stud LB like Reese from Ohio State.

  5. Trade Lattimore
.. then turn around and trade Wylie + Von Miller to CIN for Cam Taylor-Britt + Myles Murphy + 2027 6th
(Cincy fans don’t think they can get ANYTHING for those 2 players, so Washington might as well take a chance on them and see if a change of scenery will help them… maybe they can be a part of the future, Von & Wylie def won’t be.. so worth a shot)

JAC seems done with BTJ and re-uniting him with JD5 would be awesome. JAC supposedly is looking for defense..

Newton + Quan Martin + Zach Ertz + 2027 4th for Brian Thomas Jr + 2027 7th (Newton + Quan are both young, former 2nd round picks.. while BTJ was a late 1st round pick).. Sheldon Day can take Newtons spot for the rest of the season..

It’ll be interesting to see if AP takes a call on Deebo or not.. can most likely get a 2026 5th or young player for him..

Tyree Wilson from LV is a young guy I’d like to see added as well.. maybe just a pick swap? If so, it’s a no brainer, imo. NE traded Keion White + a 7th for a 6th, so something like that for Wilson would be badass

These moves would make the team younger / give younger guys more opportunities this season but also focus on the future.. without fully punting the season (even tho it’s likely over)

If Quan is traded; Jonathan Jones to FS with Savage rotating in like he does now.
Sinnott takes Ertz’ spot. Taylor- Britt takes Lattimore’s.

  6. Yea that ain’t happening. Solak also said that he’d take reps away from tyreek Stevenson. Stevenson has had a good year this so Solak is just talking out his ass and doesn’t know anything lol

  7. Unfortunately Pedro, I understand you want a fire sale, but the team hasn’t given up on the season and won’t trade every single starter we think has trade value..but good to brainstorm potential trades and cakie
