Oklahoma City Thunder vs Washington Wizards Full Game Highlights 1st Qtr|Oct 30| 2025 NBA Highlights

back then to face maybe the baddest man on the planet right now, but Bal is here for all the smoke and so are we. We’re ready for the opening tip. We’re underway. Wizards win it. CJ McCullum with the basketball. Wizards starting lineup features Kulabali for the first time with McCullum, Middleton, Sar who has been redot and Keshan George. First shot is no good for Sar but an offensive rebound and a put back by the veteran Chris Middleton right there. You want to get the attention of your opponents early on in this paint. I mean, they do a good job of forcing the rotations and forcing you to make that spray out pass. The Thunder are 5 and0 in this building. Wiggins, Hartinstein, Kase Wallace, SGA, and Luke Dort. Here’s Case Wallace’s shot missed. Hartinstein between two Wizards misses. Alex Sar trying to come up with it, but it’s taken away by Wallace. A kick out. SGA’s three lips out. Another offensive rebound for the Thunder. Gilas Alexander throwing it up to Hartinstein who kicks out to Wallace. Three on the shot clock. Another offensive rebound. Three of them already for the Thunder. Got to come up with a defensive possession. SGA trying to go one-on-one with Sar. Little push off. Fadeaway jumper is pure. I mean, you get any team at this level two to three looks at the rim, something great will happen offensively. I mean, this is the reign of champions right here. Come back with Middleton. Misses that three. The Wizards good defensive possessions, but you have to rebound. That’s the last line of defense. Washington coming off a five-point overtime loss to the Sixers. Meanwhile, OKC won by six in comeback fashion over the Sacramento Kings. Thunder needed 31 points in SGA to get the comeback. Here’s Keshan George corner three. Nice. I like it. I like that right there. Chris basketball not trying to do too much. Trying to find some chemistry there with Keshan George. I mean it’s some potential those two being locked down defenders, two-way players. Push shot by Hartinstein is off the mark. Gets another offensive rebound. Whizards have got to clean that up. Dort to Wiggins swinging it to SGA with the assignment. SGA going left. Kick out to Wiggins and he steps out of bounds. Wallace Garden CJ McCulla. Nice back cut by Middleton. [Applause] Middleton’s got four of the Wizards early seven points. Nine and a half to go here in the first quarter. Martinstein on a post up. Good hands by Bal and it will stay with the Thunder. Tonight’s injures the rebound trying to get downhill on SGA. Goes behind the back, releases it. Do a great job collapsing on drives. Have to make the extra pass. OKC’s ninth and fourth turnovers. Fourth and points off of those is Hartinstein two on the rim. Yeah, whether he’s diving as a roller at sitting that screen, you have to put a body on him because you look at the part of the ball. He lives on the offensive backboard. So much is said about Oklahoma City’s offense, but Drew, they won that championship because of the stipling defense. It wasn’t easy. Two game sevens back to back having to beat Denver Pacers. I mean, they jump out like gang busters in that series and they fought back in one. It’s going to be personal. Parkerstein trying to set a screen. Wizards double SGAA. Makes the wise choice passing it to Wiggins and Keshan’s going to be called for the foul. Crew chief in his 18th season from Roy, Virginia. Dedric Taylor in his 12th and Matt Ko in his fourth. The Durant Westbrook era with the Thunder 2009 to 14. And you can see coach Keith having the passion to coach this team with the development process. You know, he’s not just a player trying to get better. Keith is trying to get some experience as well. Three by Keshan. Washington starting to get one for four from downtown. Meanwhile, OKC has yet to hit a three. They’re open for SGA inside. Dump off. Hartenstein puts it on the deck. Blocked by Alex. That’s tough. Alex coming off a sensational game against the Sixers. His first 310 game. Here he is inside. Offensive rebound. One, two. Got the basketball taken away. Arstein miscommunication there with SGA. That’s going to be a backcourt violation. This is where you want Alex Sar against the Sixers George kick out for Kula Bali. Here’s McCulla [Applause] Wiggins getting downhill. Blocked by Kula Bali. He’s back. Going the other way. Case Wallace on a restarting lineup. The Wizards now can switch with their starting five between two and five. And Bal’s on ball def all of his rehab, a lot of that was his conditioning. So having the fresh legs and not having that sluggish feel doesn’t surprise him as he’s put in a lot of work when it comes to cardio as he laughed about yesterday. Did the same thing really after his rookie year. Remember he suffered that wrist injury against the Bulls and spending a lot of time in the cardio. So he’s kind of experienced when it comes to having, you know, stay on the treadmill and getting out and running. Speaking of running, Bal putting two hands Sixers. Wizards are doing an excellent job on the defensive end. OKC just shooting 15% from the field here with 630 to go in the first quarter. Dort. Hey, we talked about that in the open. paying a lot of attention to the new guy AJ Mitchell. But don’t forget Dort is proving along with Caruso and other guys. [Applause] CJ with a bounce pass to Sar. Deflected by Jaylen Williams and he’s deflected. He can get it back. Five on the shot clock. He’s spinning on Williams. Loses the handle. Falls down. Turnover Washington. Sar has to get back so he can protect the paint. Here’s SGA bumped by Sar. Count the bucket and the foul. This magician knows all the loophole. But the Wizards bench production has been fantastic. Ranked fourth in the NBA. And you know who’s been leading that crew? The rookie Trey Johnson. Trey Johnson, you know, leading that crew and scoring three out of the last four games if he get back tonight. Drew, I’m really interested to see Carrington running now with the second unit. He turns that basketball over, but This will be interesting for him to kind of get into the rhythm and have more opportunities with the ball in the hand. Well, even though you had a lot of score production in that second unit, you were missing a floor general. I mean, Keshan was alternating back and forth being that g that guy along with Good move by CJ. Old man float game not able to work the floor. Yeah, good shot. But Trey has been a guy that’s definitely been eye open. This guy has been a surprise. AJ Mitchell, Jaylen Williams back out to SGA. Here’s the aforementioned Mitchell. Kick out to Isaiah Joe. Look at this championship ball movement here by the Thunder. Wizards secure the rebound. Do a better job boxing out. Find the bodies. [Applause] Coming off the star screen. Dan a little bump and scores just under the free throw line. Desan coming off a 20-point effort. 40 minutes in that overtime loss to the Sixers on Tuesday. SGA misses. Good defense there by Carrington. George Alexander trying to get downhill, gets into the paint and scores. Seven points early for SGA. You’ve seen that before. Coming into this game, he has scored 174 points in 193 minutes.
