Has shut down Miami in meaningful game time, only 6 points

I know it’s frustrating, but this Baltimore D has really turned it around their last 3 opponents. Yes the loss sucked, but Chicago’s offense didn’t get dominated by a bottom feeder D. They are getting HEALTHY and dangerous again. They have given 3 solid offenses trouble.

  1. To be fair, they didn’t really shut down Chicago, we just didn’t turn red zone trips into touchdowns.

  4. Honestly, we get our red zone fixed, we will look much better. The last 2 games we haven’t turned over like a total of 6 ? 7? Red zone attempts we’ve had. I think they a progressing but the score isn’t showing it yet. Slow and steady I think we’ll start looking like a decent/playoff type offense.

  5. Caleb got half his passing yards in the fourth quarter.

    The Dolphins are 2-6 and have averaged 18 points a game. They aren’t exactly world beaters so its unsurprising that the Ravens would hold them to 6 points. You dont necessarily want to be comparing your team to the Dolphins this year

  6. I think Ravens D is better than the first 5 weeks but Rams lost Puka early in the 2nd. Dolphins are a bad offense and team. This will be the third time this season they’ll be held under 10. Again, I think they’re a solid D but our O should have been better, mainly at finishing drives

  7. Yeah. The Dolphins just put up 34 on the Falcons. Then this against a finally healthy Ravens team. And we scored a garbage time touchdown on that QB sneak that the officials mysteriously didn’t wanna see while the clock was running down.

    Coulda ended up with a week 8 hail mary of our own if we hadn’t got robbed. Who knows.

    They’re swarming Miami. I already liked how we played outside the red zone. Now I like it more.

    Who woulda thought Baltimore getting multiple all pros back would make them a better defense kinda like when we got Kyler and TJ back? Strange. Lol.

  9. The more concerning thing to me was them scoring 30 on us with a back up QB. Idk if I trust this defense yet.

  13. I wouldn’t say their defense is really giving anyone trouble. Stafford had an off day. The Bears and the Dolphins were able to move the ball, they just couldn’t finish. They’re probably going to win out because of their offense. If their defense plays half as well as the Bears defense played during their win streak, the Ravens will be fine. It’s playoff time that causes them issues. That and stupidity. If they get turnovers like the Bears got turnovers, they’ll win handily. That’s the difference between my Bears and them right now. Lamar was a little rusty, and they still put up 28, which is a little low for them.

  15. I see no reason those random strength of schedule equivocations would allay my concerns about the Bears overall outlook. 

    This ain’t NCAA. 

  16. The Bears are mid – and people should stop hand wringing so much.

    Anyone expecting more than 7-8 wins should probably temper their expectations or you may be disappointed.

    Just relax and let the season play out.

  17. Off topic but I love the Real app. It’s genuinely awesome for watching games I’m not super interested in. So much faster than ESPN. Idk how they do it.

  18. I do not understand why y’all so worried about Bears not scoring TDs. Look things happen the Bears may look bad or they look good, but what is important is development. Improvement. Looking like a better and more well-coached team. Johnson, though I think is a genius, has a team that commits many many penalties! Lessen them!

    Special teams CANNOT false start to remove a perfect punt – that to me was the most egregious! Simple fix – have a guy who understands simple things like not being in illegal formation!!! Unacceptable – we are paying guys 3 mill for their special teams performance but why that matter when we get a stupid penalty!!!
