  1. The real comparison isn’t Milton vs. Moro. It is obvious that Moro has stepped in to, if not exceeded Milton’s role from last year. But the issue is no one has stepped in to Moro’s role from last year. That is the drop off – depth.

  2. I tried to tell ‘em about the Moro machine, but they didn’t listen. Howie picked up a gem

  3. The truth of it is JC is enough of a problem that whoever the rotational player is in next to him, they’re gonna eat. That’s not a knock on those players ability AT ALL, JC is just that good

  4. I liked that we went in different directions the last few drafts but we need to get back to the trenches with our high end picks. I always questioned our insistence on drafting OL/DL almost every draft but it really is noticeable when we don’t have the depth I am use to seeing year in year out on the lines.

Always in Howie I trust, but we need to address the depth for certain next year with all the picks we are going to have.

  5. Milton’s also been good so far in NE so Ojomo has really replicated his value and production.

  6. JC is a beast but Milton Williams is a stud in his own right. Just so happens that Ojomo is really good too. We do a great job of drafting and developing DLine talent. I still miss Milt myself, but I’m really glad he’s getting the bag.

  7. For the avoidance of doubt, you’re comparing their current 2025 stats.

Milt notched 5 regular season sacks last year and 2 in the post-season.

I think Ojomo handily exceeds 5 regular season sacks this year, and we’ll just have to see about the post-season.

It’d be good to see Ty Robinson emerge as the depth, and with a bit of patience, I think he’ll come good. Though perhaps not this season.

  8. Only difference is Williams was better in run defense compared to ojomo. Ojomo needs to put more weight on.

  9. The Jalen Carter effect
And also exactly what I hoped to see out of that kid after his draft call sold me on him.
I thought I saw flashes last year, im glad hes taking steps (and getting as many snaps as possible next to Jalen fucking Carter)

  10. Milton Williams was a beast against the run. It was never about the sacks. It’s not a surprise that our run defense has suffered significantly.
