No Powell, no Herro, pushed the spurs to the edge, Bam played an incredible game. I’m pretty happy despite the loss.

Good comeback in the 4th Q. Spurs hit some killer 3’s late that were back breakers and Wemby is a goddamn pterodactyl. San Antonio’s gonna be a Top 5 seed in the West this year. Given we were down Norm/Herro, I really can’t be all too mad at the result.
Wemby got his first win vs. Miami, 5-0 record. But hey, we didn’t have Norm and Herro. Jovic and Ware sucked today.

I’m actually not too upset. Bam took 12 3s lol. This isnt what our final offense is going to look like. We’ll be straight once we get our scorers back.

Bam was the main reason we were in this game but he forced too many 3’s and love Davion but it’s a fact he’s not good enough offensively to be a permanent starter. Jovic and Ware have left a lot to be desired. Despite that we hung tough.

A lot of mistakes in 2nd half and ref not calling it even in the 1st half killed the game!

Loved the fight from my team. Silly turnovers that were in play killed us, but with Herro and Norm the floor opens up so much more and we’ll shoot much better. I love what I’ve seen the first 5 games from this team, keep pushing

Happy with how the team played. Annoyed by the refs this game. Two of Wemby’s blocks really looked like goal tends to me and don’t get me started on that failed challenge on Davion’s blocking foul. Really missing Norm and Herro right now though. Would have really helped in that third quarter.
This game had that classic Miami Heat third quarter cold stretch again and that was the first nail.
Not having Powell’s scoring really burned us tonight because we couldn’t score anything in the third.
Looked good in the 4th but just collapsed at the end there.
At least we played them close missing our two best scorers, ending the first month of the season 3-2, far better than i think most of us figured we would start. Onto Luka, the Lakers and the West Coast road trip on Sunday

Was gonna be a tough one without Norm and Herro but hopefully this tempers expectations a bit. The Spurs interior defense killed the high octane offense we had previously. Jaquez isn’t effective when the paint is packed and is scared to shoot while Ware and Jovic stink up the night. Bam, Fontecchio and Wiggins were the only bright spots. On to the next
Ware couldn’t even turn it up for the Wemby matchup. Disaster class from him tonight. They need Powell and Herro back asap. At least those two are reliable offense.

We held them to 107 and kept it pretty close at the end. If some of those 50/50 rebounds at the end went our way I think we could’ve won. I’m still optimistic about the season.
Refs were on a heater when we were about to get a good lead in the first half. Good game overall. Norm would’ve made a huge difference. On to the next one.
Bam was great overall but the 4/13 three point attempts is just bad – no getting around that.
Those misses really hurt in a tight game.
Too bad we couldn’t get those opportunities for Fontecchio tonight – he was hot tonight with 5/7 from three.
Wemby with Castle and Harper is a solid fucking lineup. Needed to create our own offense more often than usual and only Bam and Wigs could do so. JJJ not being as aggressive, and then you have Jovic and Ware having bad games. And of course the turnovers.
All in all it was a great game besides some bs calls in my opinion. And i always give the refs the benefit of the doubt. That comeback was nice, just needed more firepower. On to the next!
I think the spurs heard all the noise with ware being the Wemby stopper and probably took that personal. We played a good game and some things were working. Lost to a good team but this season is just about building a foundation and we’re doing that. Good game by the heat.
Jovic seems allergic to play good basketball against quality teams. In blowouts against bad teams, you can count on him to stat pad but when it’s put up or shut up against good teams, crickets. If Ware gets criticism, let it ring double for the guy that got extended
The 3rd quarter of this game was the 1st BAD quarter since the 4th on opening night.
Down 15 and they still got it back to within 3 in the last 5 minutes? I know it’s a loss, but I found that encouraging. Have to clean up TOs throughout.
Someone else shoulda taken 3 or 4 of those Bam 3’s but understood why he was taking them. Bam’s defense on Wemby and overall game was otherwise great.
Needed more from Jovic, Ware and especially Jaime…and they know it. I think they learn from this one and get better from it.
Shout out Wiggs. Really loved his aggressiveness throughout on both sides of the ball.
Onto the next. That team is hot and there were some seriously bad calls in their favor.
