Steven Adams playing like the hulk ๐Ÿ˜‚

For me he is looking better than most expected.

  1. Right in there with Klingan and Kessler, who are, in my opinion, two of the best offensive rebounders in the game. Also holy shit Big Kiwi is cookin.

  2. Steven Adamโ€™s screen-setting and rebounding will always make him valuable even though he honestly isnโ€™t that good at much else.

If Queta can be Adams with better finishing and okay rim protection, that is good enough for me lol

  3. All Iโ€™m gonna say isโ€ฆ

this man would look incredible in Celtic Green

  4. We play the Rockets on a back 2 back after our Cup game against the Sixers. That is going to be even harder with our Rebound issues and Steven fucking Adams out there. Pls Queta, we need you to have a brilliant game.

  5. His specific problem in games last year was fouling. He couldn’t stay on the court. Since most of those fouls are in the process of protecting the rim, it’s almost always shooting fouls and free throws. First 3 games this season it was roughly a foul every 5 minutes. Last 2 games it was one every 7 minutes and only a foul in 25 minutes. That alone makes a huge difference.
There are some other reasons for this (a break down on the perimeter puts him in bad position), but I think if he can improve in that one area it could make him a low end/serviceable starting big. Celts will absolutely need him the next few years, whether as a starter or a backup. I’d also note this was Rob Williams struggle early on, and the change was dramatic. I hope Queta can improve similarly.
