Vlad Guerrero Sr. and Vlad Guerrero Jr. Postseason highlights! 🔥 (Clutch runs in the family! 😤)

And now coming to the plate. If timing is part of life, then what kind of time is this for Vladimir Guerrero to register his first postseason big shape? Right center field. This could score Ursstad if there’s a fumble. Nicks it up with it. Urstad’s going to stop at third, but the Angels have played it too and taken a 3-1 lead. And one thing they say consistently about Vladimir Guerrero is that he prepares himself to perform every day. Tony, not all superstars do that. This guy has that same work that that these Anaheim Angels have had for a couple years. That’s just a nice piece of hitting by F by uh Vladimir. That ball was up. That ball was out and he didn’t try to pull it. He went right with it to right center. You saw Urstad get hit on the kneecap the last at bat. He was flying around second base. Oh yeah. Fled Jr. on 2-1. It’s a high fly ball to deep left field. Bellinger’s going back and it is gone. Vlad Guerrero Jr. homers in his first at bat of the postseason. Calendar flips to October and he hits his first home run in a month. I didn’t like the pitch. Change up in. I know he’s a good fast ball hitter, but see how he can drop the barrel of the bat on a 91 mph change up. Didn’t have the movement. Kept it fair down the line and they strike first. And Vladimir Guerrero coming up with the bases juiced 62. He did it, Tony. He did it. Mike Soa created this opportunity for his possible MVP of the American League with one swing of the bat. As bad as things have been offensively, defensively, you lost your starting pitcher in the fourth inning, he could be tied. He hits this ball a long way to right. Back it goes. Back, back, back. Gone. Tied up. A game that seemed so easy, so much of a foregone conclusion is now tied. Out of nowhere have come the Angels. The silence deafening. Rick, you set it up. That’s that’s this is exactly what So wanted. He wanted to give his guy an opportunity to maybe tie this game with one swing in a bat. And look at that. Vladimir Guerrero has not touched home plate in this series until right now. I think he picked the perfect spot. Glad Jr. five for six in this division series. his last eight games against the Yankees, he’s sitting above 600. And the baby goodbye Jr. strikes again. The New York Yankees scoring them 19-1 over the first game and a half. Man, when it when he hits and he’s on time, it is pretty to watch. Guerrero swings and lines it into center field. It’s in for a hit. From third base comes Figgins to tie the score. Here comes Abrau. And the Angels will take the lead. With two outs in the ninth inning. They have scored three times to take the lead. Vlatty Guerrero delivers against Jonathan Plebon. A bullet to center field with the bases loaded in two outs. Low fast ball hits it on the line to Jacobe Ellbury. Figgins from third base scores. Right behind him is Bobby Ubrau. The throw nowhere nearly in time to get Abrau as they have tied it up here with two in the ninth. This is all eyes on Vladimir Guerrero on this 200. He swings and it’s a fly ball to deep center field. Gisham’s going back. He’s done it again. Vlad Guerrero Jr. has the Blue Jays in front in the first inning. His 17th career home run at Yankee Stadium. Unbelievable this guy. Well, as soon as I I spit it out of my mouth, you can’t leave an offspe pitch over the plate. Guerrero in the air to left. Back is Damon. The Angels have tied it. [Applause] Get the head out. And he did. And you talk about a reward for your manager. He has stayed with his regular group and Vladimir just electrified that dugout. Certainly no reward for the other manager. Joe Gerardi had just gone out to talk to Pettit. Vlad Jr. sends a high drive to deep center field. Rodriguez. Oh, it’s gone. First pitch of the fifth. Vlad Jr. launches a solo shot. Single, double, homer. Vlad Jr.’s back and it is 7 to2 Toronto as they’ve gone deep three times in game three. Well, again, slider there at the bat angle that he likes and he knew it. Nope. High fast ball and a ground ball up the middle. Game tied. [Applause] When a hitter swings and misses as badly as Guerrero did and come back with a fast ball right down the pipe. I don’t understand it. And Guerrero ties it. Jay’s getting three in the third, two in the fourth. Guerrero drives the ball the other way. Kenzone’s going back. He’s at the wall. And it’s gone. Vlad Jr. strikes again with his fifth home run of the postseason. Toronto takes the run right back. It’s what he does when he’s at his best. Hits it hard the other way. Yeah, he doesn’t do too much. And that’s what makes him such an elite hitter. If you try to pull this pitch, it’s an out. The one hit hard to center. Randerson back. He won’t get there. That ball is off the wall. One- run scores. Here comes the throw. There will be no throw to the plate. Josh Hamilton scores and it’s a 3-1 Texas lead. 10 hanging curveball for Phil Hughes. Jumped all over by Vladimir Guerrero. He’s been doing it all season long for this team. Two outs, RBI’s, 52 that led the American League. Well, a guy who had not knocked in a run in this series has knocked in all three. And this one knocked out Phil Hughes. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. leads off the fifth against Logan Gilbert. Here’s 1-1 to Guerrero. Is whacked to left field. Forget about it. Gone. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s sixth home run of the postseason. Makes it five to nothing Toronto. And it’s the Blue Jays offense coming to life again. Two home runs in this game and five runs through five innings. What an October this has been for the franchise face. Here’s the 01. Right back up the middle off Linskim. A run will score. Michael Young will hold it third. And the first run of this World Series belongs to Texas. Vladimir Guerrero with that claw salute to his dugout. That ball was headed for center field. It could have scored two runs. Looked like his left leg. The ball carums to the right of Aubrey Huff who tracks it down to hold Michael Young to third. Like it hit right below the left knee on the inside part of the left leg. There’s a fly ball to deep left center field headed back there. It is gone. Brad Jr. gives the Jays the lead. The franchise face putting the team on his back. I’ll tell you, this guy’s amazing and he’s ready for everything. I mean, this is the first mistake that Otani has made and he didn’t get it back. This breaking ball is up, barrel of the back, out in front. And I said, if a spinner is in the zone, it’s a recipe for a launched home run. All you got to do is backspin it as a hitter and get that barrel to the ball and the ball just takes off. Punched on the very first pitch and now Vlad Jr. hooks a ball down the left field line. They’ve gone back to back to start game five. Three pitches in. Two to nothing Toronto. Wow. You wonder when two heavyweights are going at each other who is going to deliver the first blow. Well, they were ready to hit the fast ball. You felt like Snell was going to establish his fast tonight. I don’t know if that’s ever happened in his career where the first two hitters have hit home runs.

Both Vlad Guerrero Jr. and Vlad Guerrero Sr. have had some incredible moments during their Postseason careers. Guerrero Sr. made the Postseasons six times as a member of the Angels and Rangers, while Guerrero Jr. is playing in his fourth Postseason with the Blue Jays.

  1. Amazing that Buck Martinez called Vlad Sr. in the post-season, and now he's calling Vlad Jr. in the post-season. You're old, Buck!!! (said with much love)

    🇩🇴👑⚾️

  3. You know, as someone who watched Vlad Sr a lot, I'm starting to believe that Vladdy Jr may end up being a greater player…Vlad Sr will always be the greatest bad-ball hitter ever

  4. Use to watch alot of baseball during the 1990s. Vladimir Sr has a wicked uppercut swing. He has the kind of grip that'll send your hand to the ER if he don't like u, and he shakes your hand.
Vladimir Jr looks likes the 5th member of Boyz II Men

  5. Criminal how many people don’t know about vlad Guerrero sr. 2000s legend, one of my favorite players growing up along with David Ortiz and Paul konerko

  6. Its UNBELIEVABLE how Vlad Jr and Vlad Sr have almost the EXACT SAME swing in the thumbnail. That is the perfect example of how a father can teach his son to be just like him. CRAZY!

  7. AWESOME! I'll always remember Vladdy Sr. from his days on the Expos. Vladdy Jr. making his dad and Canadian baseball fans everywhere proud! GO JAYS GO!!!!

  8. With so many sons that follow their fathers to the bigs and themselves had great careers I don't think that their are ones that are so close of a Mirror image of their fathers in the Swing department as Vlad and Vlad J.r.Both great out of the strike zone hitters and the swings side by side are the same. Amazing players both… coming from a Mariners fan who has been victimized by these two for years the latest in 2025.

  9. And that’s not the end of the Guerreros, There is a left handed Vladi on the Mets and another one with the Rangers and another one unsigned because he is only 13.

  10. お父さんは勝負強くてあのヘルメットの汚れと素手でバット振ってるのが印象的。息子も遺伝子を引き継いで良いバッターに成長してる。
