First Impression of 49ers Defensive Lineman Keion White

First impression of Keon White. He’s going to play and he’s going to take playing time away from Mike Williams in particular. Keon White looks like a legit interior pass rusher, a legit NFL interior pass rusher. Last year on the Patriots, his pass rush win percentage was 17. I don’t think Mike Williams has had a a pass rush win percentage, just a mouthful, ever in his life. So, this guy has some serious skills. He doesn’t have really any stats this year. don’t know exactly what was happening in Patri in New England. I think they were playing him out of position more on the edge. So, he’s going to come here and play on the interior. On third downs, I think the Niners top two interior rushers are going to be Keon White and Yur Gross Matoss. Now, maybe maybe they won’t be the guys on the field all the time, but they’ll be the two best ones. The two best edge rushers will be Sam Ouanu, at least this week until Bryce Huff comes back and Mike Williams. Maybe, you know, as I make this turn, it’s fair to question whether Muel Williams is one of the five best pass rushers on the team. He’s certainly a good run defender. He’ll be starting at defensive end. He’ll be playing on first and second down. That was a really good turn. But on third down, should it be him on the field or should it be Clean Ferrell? Because here’s the thing about Cleveland. Here’s the thing about those two guys. Neither one is going to, you know, sack the quarterback, per se, but Cleveland Ferrell will keep that quarterback in the pocket unlike Mikel Williams who was letting CJ Strad out of it last week. I mean, the Niners win this game if they just force Jackson Dart to stay stationary and play quarterback. He’s a really good scrambler and chaos creator. And Mike Williams has been a chaos enabler at times. So, something for my for Robert Salah to think about. You can’t just throw Mike Williams out there on third down cuz you drafted him in round one. You got to play the best four pass rushers. And Keon White is going to be one of those guys. [Music]

  1. For Grant to be a team reporter he sure missed everyone saying Mykel was drafted to help the run defense why does Grant always talk about him as a pass rusher then that will have fans and media saying he's no good but he's the primary d linemen that gets double teamed even before Bosa injury smh shame on u team reporter Grant

  2. White is step 1, next is they need.T. Hendrickson step 2, 3rd step trade for a shut down corner so they can play double-team on the opposite side, step 4 get B. Huff back. All these steps are doable then the Niners are SB contenders this year.

  3. It’s nice to get another rotational guy in the three technique. But we need a 5 technique who can wreak havoc on the QB on passing downs. I don’t think we’ll get that before the trade deadline

  4. Are you trying to save us from motion sickness announcing "the turn"….I wonder if you announce this to everyone while you go on to a back nine of a golf round. Turn it up
