I’m good. There are needier wr teams that will drive up the cost.

It would be cool, but not for anything more than like a 4th rounder. Our offense is fine with just a speedy decoy, we don’t actually need them to be that good, just fast.
I know people say Nacua and Adams aren’t great deep threats, but I think that’s a utilization thing more than their actual ability. Nacua is way faster than people give him credit for and it feels like 70% of Adams career was catching back shoulder fade routes 20+ yards down field.
I’m not sure who else fits that Tutu mold (fast, but literally nothing else), but there’s got to be some guys that would be cheaper than Shaheed. What’s Quez Watkins doing?
Would love him or maybe Turpin if possible
Biggest issues with the team are Offensive Line and Corner.
They were without their best WR and were able to work around it.
Nah no need. Maybe if Tutu was out for the year but that’s not the case. They’re basically the same role
From a fantasy standpoint, I’d hate it because his target rate would drop dramatically.
There’s nothing he has to offer the Rams that they don’t already have. The offense is fine, although I wouldn’t mind a goalline back that holds on to the ball
WR is not a need at this point. I’d rather get another corner or OL depth.
Why?
On a list of needs, I’d argue that WR is at the bottom
No we have puca and davante Adam’s
I like Shaheed. I’d rather see what X can do.
Naw
I’ll die on this hill but the Rams could always stand to invest in more offensive weapons. It gives opportunities to diversify the offensive gameplan, more options to give the vets some extra plays off, and extra insurance for the inevitable starter injury.
It’s why I desperately wanted Egbuka or another WR in the last draft. Thankfully they went Te but they’re barely utilizing him thus far, so the jury is still out.
People are gonna go to the game against the Jags that the Rams are fine but I disagree, I’d hate to see this team walk out there with only one competent receiver against an actual good team.
Edit, not entirely fair on the Egbuka call because I think I wanted Luther Burden more for the speed option.
I swear this sub is obsessed with a new skill player every week when the thing that may prevent a deep playoff run is the line and secondary.
Honestly yeah I’d take him, dude’s got solid hands and speed. Maybe a 4th rounder? Saints probably want more than that though since he’s been pretty reliable for them
No and nothing
We have the best WR1, and WR2 in the league, do we really need to get the best WR3 when we have weaknesses across the Oline and secondary? If we make any form of trade for an offensive piece (not on oline) I would want a running back
I love all of this talk about replacing Tutu when all I’ve seen all year is “we paid him how much??? To do nothing?”
We already have a tutu
He’s a much better deep threat than Atwell, that’s for sure. I’d rather have more Offensive Line depth tho.
I’d rather get another running back than a wide receiver. Someone bigger than Kyren and can be a power back.
For no more than a 6th. Maybe a conditional 5th. But remember, we got OBJ when Bobby Trees was still healthy and then immediately was gone. OBJ gets hurt in the Super Bowl and Kupp is alone. I don’t think adding a reliable professional WR, like Shaheed is, is a bad thing if you can get it cheaply. We had 6 picks last season and nailed most of them. We can give up a late pick for depth that we might need.
I think the Saints HC Kellen Moore as Offensive coordinator might be a cool thing. Unlikely, but I wouldn’t mind it.
No matter who you get at that speedy position, they won’t do anything if you don’t give Stafford time. We don’t need more receiver, we need a better line.
People are saying OL & Corner are our bigger needs and that is true, but you also have to consider who is ACTUALLY available to our team for trade. If Shaheed is available we should move for him because it helps us win now.
nah. hard pass.
our WRs have been putting in work.
People keep bringing up Tutu & Brandin Cooks.
Both have, or had, all planet speed, but both are tiny & get jammed, out muscled or boxed out of their routes.
J Whitt is that fast. He is super fast & big. Did you guys see him catch up to Puka on that 45 yard run play against the Titans? J Whitt came off of a block, caught Puka, then slowed down for another block. I kept hearing about how fast he is, but wow, that was eye opening. He’s also big & can block, so no CB is gonna box him out OR out muscle him on any jump ball.
My question is WHY aren’t they scheming him open downfield? If Staff Daddy hits him in stride, no one is gonna catch him…
For the people talking about needing a RB who doesn’t fumble at the WORST POSSIBLE TIME, Derrick Henry fumbled three games in a row & now everyone keeps bringing up the “Ravens Claw” (3 points of contact that every RB is taught in Pop Warner). KW’s fumbling problem is a coaching issue. Fumble & sit on the bench. Falling down? Wrap the ball. See a hit coming? Wrap the ball. Off balance? Wrap the effin’ ball! If you get punched in the facemask while both hands are on the ball, you probably, probably, don’t fumble.
The Rams are like six deep at WR. They don’t need another WR.
From the Saints: Alvin Kamara would be a good trade (not that the saints would trade him)
Yes and at most a 3rd or 4th round pick, he’s a crazy WR3 deep threat that we could use without Tutu
Let’s do that late round pick swap thing. I love giving up virtually nothing for a good player!
No. Nothing.
