A really good contact hitter..we could sure use someone like him in the’26 lineup.
The year after he won the batting title I’m in line with my son at Piratesfest to get his autograph. When we are three people away from getting to him, his time is up and they bring in this prospect named Andrew McCutchen and my son got his autograph instead. He was disappointed at that moment, but got over it in time 😂😂
