NFL Insider Shares Latest Jets Trade Rumors | New York Jets News
What is going on, Jet fans? Matt Ori back with another video. Today, we’re going to get into the latest New York Jets trade rumors. The trade deadline is just 4 days away, and Albert Brier had an updated report that I wanted to get into today. So, here’s the latest that you need to know on the New York Jets. According to Albert Brerier, the Jets don’t want to move Will McDonald, but are listening on Germaine Johnson. Now, earlier in the I believe it was even last week before the Jets played the Cincinnati Bengals, there was, you know, some Germaine Johnson tweets, he’s not leaving, the whole thing. And based on that initial reporting that came from Nick Faria on the Jets beat, it seems like both Germaine Johnson wants to stay and the Jets want to keep Germaine Johnson. Uh Albert Brier is saying that uh it would take a second round pick for him to be moved. I don’t know if we’re gonna see that happen. Um, I would bet unlikely to see a Germaine Johnson trade, especially after his comments. Don’t think Germaine or Will McDonald are someone that we would uh see get dealt. So, uh, that one I questioned a little bit. Uh, the next one just made me I mean, let’s be honest here, just made me laugh out loud. There’s no denying it. Michael Clemens is available via trade according to Albert Frier. Um, I one don’t think you’re going to be able to get anything from Michael Clemens, but number two, he’s your third edge. They don’t have anyone else. Who are you going to toss out there? Tyler Baron, he’s been virtually unplayable. Brainy McGregor, they don’t really have any options. That’s what we were talking about when Germaine Johnson was out. How much they were relying on guys like Clemens and Braden McGregor and you know Tyler Baron. It’s not it’s not good. And clearly, you know, I don’t think Michael Clemens is a great football player, but I would be that’s another one I’d be surprised if they moved. If they get anything from Michael Clemens, sure. Would I take it? I guess. But they they are going to significantly impact their defensive line depth because they don’t have any to begin with. No Jets game this week, but I still made my sleeper picks. I have Caleb over 237.5 passing yards against the Bengals. Puka Naku with five plus receptions and Jir Gibbs more than 98 and a half rushing plus receiving yards. If you want to tell my picks, make sure to sign up using promo code ooli. You could uh 1,000 times up to 1,000 times your money if your picks win. Use promo code OIR and you get up to a $100 match on your first deposit. New offer. There’s a free $20 no deposit required promo. Terms and conditions apply. Breer would go on to mention Quincy Williams. No me mention of Quinnon Williams, but I think Quincy is not surprising in the least. If I had to bet on who the most likely guy to be dealt before Tuesday would be, I think it would be him. And look, it’s not that I don’t like Quincy Williams. I do. In fact, I think he is better than Jamime and Sherwood. The issue is the Jets decided to pay Jamime and Sherwood this past off season. He’s getting $15 million a year. Are you going to turn around and give Quincy Williams that same money and allocate $30 million to your starting linebacker duo? I don’t think you could justify doing that. I really don’t. And you know, they’re going to have to make decisions at guard. They need to spend that wide receiver. You got to make a decision with Bree. They need more help at edge. Like, I get it. You if you lose Quincy Williams, you’re going to have to replace him. I understand that. But he’s making $6 million a year now. Significantly underpaid, and he’s going to want to cash in. And he’s 30 years old on an expiring deal. Again, good Jet. his development with the Jets was something that I don’t think I expected. Um, he got, you know, Robert Salah got a lot out of him, which makes me believe with their injury to Fred Warner. Quincy Williams to the San Francisco 49ers for a mid-round pick almost seems like a no-brainer to me personally. This guy mentioned is Bree Hall and he says it would take a day two pick. So that’s a second or third round pick to get the Jets to trade Bree Hall. Based on that, I think he stays. I don’t know if I see another team offering a second or third round pick for Bree Hall, unless someone just gets crazy desperate, which I mean, we’ve seen desperate GMs and desperate teams in the past. So, I’m not going to say that it’s impossible. But based on the information and some of the trade discussions leading up to this current week, I think he stays. And it was something that we talked about yesterday on my appearance on the Jake Asmin show. We can all assume the Jets are taking a quarterback pretty high in the 2026 draft. You could almost make the case, I think, that they’re better off extending him for a year or two than they would be trading him away for a fifth round pick because you want to make life as easy as humanly possible for your next quarterback. Uh, and you’d be creating another hole that you have to fill. They let’s say it’s Mendoza, Simpson, Matier, Moore, whoever you like. You want to put them in a good spot and coaching matters of course, but they have a good wide receiver one. You have a pretty good offensive line and you could have a strong running game if you keep pree, you know, pair him with the duo of Isaiah Davis and Brilen Allen and suddenly you add a couple receivers and it’s like, okay, this isn’t a bad spot for a young quarterback to come to. It would be significantly better than what Darnold had. It’d be better than what Zach Wilson had because of the offensive line. I think, you know, Zack had some, you know, some playmakers. He had Garrett Wilson. You had Elijah Moore in year one. You know, Bree was here in year two. The whole thing. But the offensive line was not nearly in the spot that it is now, you know, four or five years ago when he was drafted. So, I’m all for making whoever the next quarterback’s life significantly easier. And if that means keeping Bree Hall, I think you do it. That’ll do it for me in this one, guys. Thanks for hanging out. I’m Matt Ori, and I’ll catch you next time.

Who will the Jets trade before Tuesday?
Give Brady cook a chance to play
Trading Quincy – I bet that makes Quinnen angry…
I think Mouge is strategic with all of this, and we wont get lowballed in a any trade. I personally don't see him doing much more.
Matt still doing it! Champ. We all deserve a medal for loyalty to this team. I am a big Glenn guy. The trades all are hits so far it seems, let's see if Mougey can keep dealin!
"I think he is better than Jamien Sherwood" are we admitting that the Jets may have paid the wrong player then? Because i agree, i would rather have Quincy over Sherwood, i just think he is a better player who is more consistent.
Clemons to SF for Warner straight up.
Something to keep in mind, we’re not in salary cap hell. Don’t need to shed anyone that is contributing like JJ and Breece. Carter? Yeah he was rendered obsolete by JBJ so you save the $10 mil AND move up a round.
Jermaine is our only edge. A 2nd? Half our 2nd picks in my 30 years of being a fan have been busts
What drives me nuts with JJ is, they used a 1st round pick on him, he's proven to be a first round talent, and then they put out there that a day 2 or 3 would make them do it. Why? Breece with a day 2 pick, very high up, and has proven first round talent, why take less in return? Stupid.
Spend what at WR? Spend 5-7 mil on a vet WR3 and draft WR in the 2nd. Enough with the need for a WR when we scored 39 pts and got 500 yards with Tyler Johnson, Lazard, Isaiah and Arian Smith (and a benched QB throwing). With GW, a 2nd rd kid and a vet wr3 who’s better than Tyler Johnson with Tyler and Arian as 4/5 and bringing back Breece and we’re fine
If our HC wasn’t a 💩 bag we would be looking to add talent instead of selling our best players. AG has caused this franchise to regress even further.
I’m uncomfortable trading first round talents on their rookie deals for 3rd round picks. That’s an equation that consistently makes your roster worse the more you do it unless you luck out.
Idc if we thin at the position get Micheal Clemons Outta Here!!! And Sherwood can go to missing gaps and tackles!!!
Trade Clemons for half a bag of stale Dorritos.
Why’s everyone okay with losing Quincy Williams!?!? He’s such a dog!!
Been debunked, ill be back to watch content after Nov 4th these rumors are funny.
