[Goldman] Chiefs DT Mike Pennel says he’s glad to be back. Sounds like he began pondering his NFL future after the Jets game, then confirmed that he requested his release. Says that he was encouraged to look for other opportunities, which led him back to Kansas City.
Glad he is back; hoping this resolves our D-line issue so we don’t have to make a trade.

Big Mike has been a beast for us on run D, I swear him and Bolton play off each other well too.
If Mike can make 2-3 stops a game on 10-12 snaps, he’s worth it. Also cost us 0 draft picks.
