Report: Anthony Davis is expected to miss Saturday’s Mexico City game vs. Detroit due to left leg soreness, per Stein

  1. I mean playing at high altitude with achilles soreness doesn’t really make sense. But neither does playing in Mexico City in general.

  2. Makes sense. He can get 5 days off while only missing one game, hopefully enough for the tendinopathy flare up to calm down.

  3. Side note – the person who runs the Mavs_FFL account just completely steals content from actual Mavs fans and creators and posts it as his own. They have been called out for it numerous times and continue to be an ass hat. Blocked them years ago.

  4. I keep expecting this to be “will be out several months”

    What an absolute joke

  5. Tendinopathy can be chronic and require months of recovery. They owe it to the fans to stop deflecting and sugar coating. This season is already over—tank and rebuild while they control their pick. And AD, if he has hopes of a continued career in the NBA, needs to work with his own doctors instead of this clown show of a mavs medical staff.

  6. It seems like he always hurt. This is supposed to be one of our star players and gave Luka away for.

  7. I just want Gafford active. Baby steps. Just one non-Dwight big man, start a PG, and Coop take at least 18 shots.

  8. Looking back at the video, AD never grabs the back of his legs. He’s reaching down to his lower shins, and the fact that he wanted to come back but they held him out in case makes me optimistic it WASN’T Achilles related. The medical staff have zero transparency so we know next to nothing about this tweak
