“I think aside from the opener, this was the most alarming loss for me for a few reasons.” #shorts
For me, I think aside from the opener, this was the most alarming loss for me for a few reasons. I mean, the last two really, but focusing on the Sharks game here. Number one being it was a pretty slow start for them. I mean, they were down 3-1 going into the second period. And it was another super late goal right before the horn. I think Celebrity scored with like 8.2 seconds left or something like that. And 2-1 and 3-1 are just so different. And it’s a gut punch. Yeah. Every single time. But I was also concerned with JT Miller’s assessment of the team not respecting their opponent enough. And I get it’s the Sharks, but this team hasn’t done anything yet this season that would warrant them to act that way if that’s true. What stood out to you um in the Sharks game? This one was sloppy and it was 3-1. And it was like you said, yeah, a gut punch. At no point though was I like this game’s going to end 3-2 or 4-1. It’s going to it’s going to break open. Dangerous part of last night against the Sharks is that’s going to happen all year if you if you don’t button it up and really get attent attentive to the details. Um there were positives. You saw a one-time goal on the power play. It was a nice power play goal. The couple times that’s connected after what felt like an entire season of it never connecting. Yeah. I mean, this year he could have eight or nine because he’s so snake bit. I mean, that’s that’s a big positive.

They took this team lightly. And they thought it would be a cake walk and they thought they had them and gave up at the end of periods. And they. Took there sweet ole time in the OT. Didn’t even try to shoot the puck. Had easy 2 on 1 and decided it wasn’t good enough didn’t shoot. And got shown how ya do it in the OT. Just a lazy team And it was so predictable. We saw this script over the last two years. You would think that since they only scored 1 goal in the first 16 periods of hockey in the garden that they would just dominate this team. Poorly prepared by the coaching staff
Sharks playing NJ tonight.
How that game goes will say a lot about the state of the rangers and SJ.
What did people expect when they barely did anything to fix this bad team in the offseason?
Lafreniere is a total bust
