I don’t even know what to say to you guys, true Mavs fans… I’m from Canada so logically I’m a Raptors fan; but I’m originally from ex Yugoslavia (Croatia) and I’ve been following Luka from the day he was drafted. Dallas was my favourite team after Raptors and I just fell in love with the team, with the energy, with the appreciation the fans were showing to my boy Luka (because he deserves it).
I just cannot accept the fact this illogical trade happened. I can’t. I see him in yellow and it just doesn’t look real. It doesn’t fit. It shouldn’t be!
If I’m in total denial, me – a nobody, not a true fan at all….. I can’t even imagine the pain you guys are going through.

I genuinely regret the emotional investment I have put into this basketball team for the past 15 years. Watching Luka was one of the highlights of my dark days for years and should have been for another decade at minimum, instead we have to deal with this nightmare. Watching him ball out on the Lakers literally makes me nauseous. I thought I could take solace in knowing that I could still watch him play, but seeing him in those disgusting jerseys breaks my heart. This situation has seriously rattled my love for basketball.
It dosent help that not only does our team look like a 9-10 seed at best, but are generally a boring and unentertaining team to watch overall. Win or lose, Luka was going to put on a show. Im excited to see Coop’s development and growth but this roster is horribly built, its restricting his ability to play his actual position. Not to mention having to deal with all the pressure of a 1st pick and the noise that this franchise has going on right now. This team is just hard to watch knowing what was taken from us
Bro stop. I left DFW and moved to NYC and Knicks full supporter now. Grew up since birth supporting the mavs. Can’t do it now.
