It’s a It’s We’re I think we’re all pretty happy about this. Again, I don’t like celebrating somebody losing their job. Go check out Sleeper. Use promo code DDW. Get up to 100%. The Miami Dolphins act. Not even Stephen Ross actually did something and they moved on from Chris Greer. They moved on from Chris Greer. I will read what was actually said right here. Statement from the chairman of the board manager Steven Ross. He says, “This morning I made a I made the decision along with general manager Chris Greer to mutually part ways. I have uh incredible respect for Chris and his family and I want to thank him for the many contributions to the Miami Dolphins over the past 26 years. As I assess the state of the team in my uh discussion with Chris, it becomes clear to both of us that change could not wait. We must improve in 2025 and 2026 and beyond and it needs to start right now. Champ Kaylee will serve as the interimm general manager effective immediately and will begin our search process for a new general manager. I will uh I want to thank Champ for stepping in and his commitment to the Dolphin success this season. There’s a lot of football left to be played and we all need to fight even harder. I I’ve always been and remain committed to building a winning team that consistently competes for championships. I am incredibly proud of our leadership as an NFL organization and continued commitment to the community, but our performance on the field and our team building process has not been good enough. Thank you, man. There’s no excuses. I want to thank the fans for the continued support and passion for this team. You deserve a champion caliber team. You could be proud. Uh there’s much uh there’s much work ahead to return to the Dolphins sustained success and that work begins now. finishing the season strong, ele uh evaluating all areas of our football operation and moving forward with a clear vision of the future. It feels like the Miami Dolphins won last night. Like them finally doing this and this is what I wanted. I I I get Mike McDaniel, right? Mike McDaniel has made some bad decisions and you know his time management and his adjustments and you know there really isn’t a change from Mike McDaniel from 2022 to now but I’m not Chris Greer has been here for obviously 26 years but he has been the general manager since 2019. Yes, you could say 2016 the three-headed whatever blah blah blah since 2019 and nothing has changed. I’ve talked about this time and time again with the mill bill millions of dollars. I think it was 600 million. What did I say? 26 first and second round picks. Like time and time again, you know, you trade up for Liam Mikeenberg and you miss on Creed Humphre and you know, all of these picks and then you trade for Josh Rosen and it wasn’t working. It just wasn’t working. And a lot of people thought he was coming back. I had a lot of people on Twitter. I had a lot of people in the comment section of my videos saying, “He’s coming back. He’s coming back. There’s no way. He’s coming back. He’s coming back.” And I’m like, there is no way that a successful businessman can sit back and look at how this team is being run, where we’re at after four years of again another rebuild, three different head coaches, and say Chris Greer’s fine. This is the move that I wanted, right? Mike McDaniel, how many times have I told you guys that, you know, okay, you know, Mike McDaniel can stay. I just need a GM to come in and I need I need, you know, assess the team essentially, assess the team. But what I like that was said in this is that we serve as the interimm coach immediately. Um, and we will begin our search process for a new general manager. I want this new general manager to have complete and utter control. I want I don’t want the new general manager I you know and I have a list and I’m going to make a video specifically probably this week. Tomorrow I’m going to make a video breaking down the mid-season uh review. Then Monday, we’re going to talk about um or maybe even Sunday, we’ll talk about the trade deadline now that you know we have champ Kay uh Kelly as the interim GM, who what trades are going to happen. But I have GMs here and you’ll see a a common denominator with my GMs and they’re successful assistant GMs for other teams. So should that should give you an idea, right? You know, you got the Eagles assistant GM, the Chief’s assistant GM, just to name two of the nine. It’s time to do it right. And it’s time to not handcuff the guy coming in. Plain and simple. Don’t don’t have don’t go and through the GM hiring process and say, “We want to keep Mike and we want to keep Tua, so you got to work with that.” No. the this the GM hiring process should consist of the GM comes in you take the the the best candidate and you essentially say to him what is your vision cool do it like if you like what the hey we need to move on from so and so hey you need to do this with your contracts hey you need to do this and this is my draft process and this is da da da do it. Don’t say don’t do what you did with Mike McDaniel and say you have to work with our defensive coordinator and you have to fix Tua because if the new GM comes in and says look Tua is not it and if I can move on from him and if I could trade him or if I could do whatever Steven Ross I need you to work with me and manipulate the his contract so we can save cap space and on the same time get a draft pick and yada yada. You got to say, “Okay, let’s do it.” Like, you can’t handcuff yourself again in the GM search process, and you got to let this GM do what he needs to do. But this is the move that I wanted right now. Again, the organic tank is on. I don’t think Mike McDaniel’s getting fired anytime soon. Now, we lose to the Saints and the Jets, then I think he’s fired. Um cuz I think at that point Steven Ross will have that number one pick probably locked up and then he’ll be like I’m going to fire him. Um but this this is a this is this is a move in the right direction and Steven Ross is this is a move in the right direction to bring your fans back in. Cuz last night he lost the fans. There was loud booing. There was more Raven fans there than Dolphin fans on social media. We are very vocal about how bad this team is. So it it this is the right move. This is the right move in the right direction to bring back your fan base. I wonder if he saw because again Monday was the renewal date. Well, the start of the renewal date for season tickets. I’m wondering if he started to see season tickets start to fall and was like, I’m losing the fans. So, he had to do something because this is a move in the right direction. This is this is what the Dolphins needed. And you know, again, I’m not here to celebrate and I’m not going to cheer and I’m not, you know, Ste, you know, Chris Greer is a human being and he has, you know, a family and this is his job and yada yada. Like, don’t get me wrong, he’s probably still getting paid even though, like, same thing with Mike McDaniel. When Mike McDaniel gets fired, he’s still going to get paid from Steven Ross because he signed a new fat contract last year. Um, but this is the move that needed to happen. This is what needs to go in the right direction. So, it feels like we won. It feels like we won an important game. I I feel like we’re 11 and three and we needed to win this game to secure the number one overall seed and we won. That’s how I feel right now. I feel so much better about the future of this team now because Chris Greer is not in charge and is not going to continue to make a Noah Igbanogy pick, a Liam Iikenberg pick. Um, you know, how many picks can we say that, you know, we were all talking about it. Hey, you know, if they keep on this trajectory, you know, they have the number one overall pick or, you know, if the Saints and the Jets win and uh, you know, all these teams win, you know, we could get closer to number one overall pick. And the rebuttal has always been, “Yeah, but Chris Greer is going to be making the pick.” Not anymore. So, it feels good that the future is unknown cuz for the past nine years and for the past three different head coach regimes, we knew what was going to happen when it came to signing players up. It’s going to be an injured injury-prone player. Um, drafting players up, we’re going to want this guy and they’re going to want that guy. Even though last year they finally took Jonah and I’m not giving up on Jonah. I’m not going to give up on Jonah. This is rookie year. I’m going to see how this plans out. Um, but it it feels good because we’re finally going in the right direction. Comment below. What’s your thoughts on, you know, Steven Ross moving on? It was a mutual, too. So, I wonder how that conversation went. And again, a lot of people had speculations about the lawsuit. The Miami Dolphins are not in that lawsuit. They’re not one of the teams that is is named in the lawsuit. So, they made a move, one of many. They got the trade deadline on Tuesday. Comment below. Let me know what you guys think about this move. Do you feel better about the future of the organization? Do you feel better about the team? Comment below. I will see you tomorrow. Uh, I got a lot now. I got a lot to talk about. Hit that subscribe button. Going to be interesting. Uh, yeah. Like usual, stay classy. Fins up.

The curse is broken!
Christmas came EARLY!!! πππ
Bye felicia
Dolfan Denny says: FINALLYβΌοΈβΌοΈπΊπ²ππ¬πππ³
WE ARE FREEEE
I am glad hes gone also think that grier decided to go to cause his dad died he felt he did do the job he was able to do and Ross felt same way
HE IS SCOUT NOT GM MATERIAL AND MCDANIEL I FEEL IS OK IF HES GOVEN PIECES TO GO REMEMBER TUA TO ME IS A BUST BELOW AVERAGE QB AND MCDANIEL
MCDANIEL DID THE BEST HE COULD TO SAVE GRIERS ASS. HE DIDNT WANT TO GO AS PICK 5 IN DRAFT IS A BUM
Ding dong the witch is dead, the wicked witch is dead!!!!
I thought it was Halloween, not Christmas!!!! So happyπππ
Serious question though. Who has the confidence in Ross to actually go out and find the great GM that we need to right the ship?
Perfect, now do a complete fire sale and stack picks for the new GM. Keep ur young core players like Waddle and Achane and maybe u can do a quick turnaround
They only got rid of half of the problem. McDufus also needs to go. It's his offense that fails.
Well,it's a start.
Prediction. MIKE MCDANIEL gets fired EVENTUALLY ANTHONY WEAVER GETS THE NEW HEAD COACH JOB
Jimmy Johnson as GM.
Tua and McDaniel CAN NO LONGER WORK TOGETHER
Get rid of Tua
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Build the OFFENSIVE LINE! NOW!
Na fuck that. I don't feel bad. This change was NEEDED
Can't sugar coat it. Grier got Fired!
McDaniels play calling needs to be addressed. Whether it's handing over play calling to someone else or just a different philosophy of how to call plays
1 year of tua..probably 6 games with mcdaniel..he gets fired. Find new coach and qb in 2027
Finally
For all of those of you who are happy this is what I will say.
It won't make a damn bit a difference without having a good head coach, which is not on Grier, it's on Ross, he hired and extended Mcdaniel not Grier. We Will not have a good head coach as long as Ross stays in charge of those decisions rather than letting the gm hire a new coach.
I agree with Doug 100% but the hiring process will go something like that, "we want to keep mike" "we want to Tua" or whoever, it may be because Stephen Ross will not let go of control. As long as Ross is there he will not give up control on those kinds of decisions, simple as that. We can say what we want and what should happen all we want but as long as Ross is there, it will never work that way.
