Here’s a fun little $2 pickup from the other day. So Ryan Weathers was a top prospect and I know this is Panini unlicensed, but look at this. Numbered seven out of eight. So he’s been kind of up and down. He’s a starter reliever, but I’m really rooting for him for the Marlins next year. And let’s hope that he can become a solid starter.
What a silly thing to do with $2 but it’ll give me more reason to watch Marlins games next year!
Ryan Weathers is from that mega pitching prospect wave that the Padres had like 5 years ago. I always preferred Gore and Patino (my bad) but Weathers has kinda built himself into a guy who can stick around. Oh and he’s somehow only 25 still! Hoping that he goes out and shoves next year
P.S. Panini Mosaic Baseball slaps. They really deserve to have shared access to the license someday.
