Josh and Hugo surpassed Jordan and Baylor on the rotation in just a few games

  1. I’m confused on the distaste for Baylor I’ve seen recently? If someone with more fine tuned basketball knowledge than me could explain it for me that’d be great! From my perspective he was a real unexpected highlight of last year, which is hard when on a team that’s already so good. This year has been a slow start but he is 6 games into his second season in the league, I think we just need to see him play more before putting suggesting his time is up? Jordan, who to be clear I do like, by comparison has had a couple more years and many more opportunities to prove himself! Idk I’m concerned about both players, but I’m just hesitant to count out Baylor just yet

All love to Josh and Hugo though they’ve really shown up and they have been the MUCH needed energy so far!!

  2. I’m more out on baylor than walsh.

Walsh technically should be able to do what hugo is doing he has similar physical tools, so i’m able to trick myself into thinking he can still do something even though really he hasn’t shown much of anything.

Baylor just too old for me to think he’s gonna make some leap, think he is what he is and that’s probably a very good and well paid overseas player.

  3. I don’t think that Baylor and Walsh are NBA’s material, Walsh is just a great athlete, and Baylor is supposed to be a shooter, but right now Hauser is way way better, also Sam is developed a good D and rebounder.
They still have room for improvement but Hugo and Josh have more talent and deserved minutes.
Did you see what quality of D Josh did on Maxey, and what rebounds did he grab? May he develop in a rodman type player? Eager to see him finish at the rim with JT creating for him

  4. He’s 21 years old. He’s definitely not playable now but some guys don’t fill out until they’re 26-27. Doubt Brad is gonna wait that long but he might find a role in the league some day.

  5. In game 5, but in prior Mazzula years he flipped the script with players 20-40 games in.

Idk what to expect with rotation player minutes yet

  6. Walsh is similar to JD Davison in terms of being a really good G league player that doesn’t have it at the NBA level
