As much as I hate it; the right thing happened there
If they try to dislodge it, they can’t do the hands up thing, so although they probably could have played it, the right play is to not do so

If the ball is lodged in the wall, it’s a dead ball unless the outfield touches it
In this videos case the ball wasn’t lodged into the wall
It’s a moot point. Going 1-9 with RISP and popping up on the first pitch was worse.
