Well, the the old joke is always whoever wakes up first, ABS wake up first. What a pass by Kale Mar. The threat of his shot. Marty Nas finds a soft spot. Our Tur Leen in front of the net. No mistake. 41 seconds in. And we move on to the second period. And right here it’s Brock Nelson saying trick or treat. I got something for you. Take that. Jack Drury. What a read. And Brock Nelson, he sees that the puck’s going to end up on Jack Drury’s tape and he finds that spot right through the middle of the ice. Jackury on the tape in stride. Brock Nelson, he’s a goalcorer. That was a huge goal for the ABS after a penalty kill. Absolutely. Two goals in his last three games for Brock Nelson. Great to see him just ripping it as of late. We move on to the third period and we’re still getting a bunch of penalties. So Vegas with a fouron-ree opportunity here and you know they were going to capitalize eventually. Power play goal here from Hurdle. Fouron three is tough. You can see Josh Manson I don’t want to say he’s caught in no man’s land but he’s deciding okay is Theodore going to shoot? So he’s kind of caught halfway and Hurdle it’s a big body taking it to the front of the net. He’s able to slip it under Wedgewood’s pad. And then Brent Burns the man we just heard from his first in an abs sweater with a beautiful cell. What I love about this is Marty Nous, it’s Tomas Hurdle who’s a forward who’s playing Dies. So, Marty Nas backs him off and you heard Brent Brent Burns say it. Marty gave it to me in the first period for not jumping in, saying, “Hey, you’re 40, not 41. Jump in the play. I will feed you.” He feeds him. And you can see there’s elation on that face. 40 not 41. Love that line. Okay. And then it was, you know, the super weird goal that unfortunately did involve Burns right here. It kind of deflects off his stick top shelf and out. So Vegas gets within one, which is a little sketchy this late in the game, but it is what it is. ABS didn’t give up a whole lot, and this is just a tough bounce. It actually goes off the inside of Brent Burns skate. There is nothing Wedgwood can do on that. Yeah, it’s just one of those things. It is what it is. But you know what? Kil Mar says, “Hey, we don’t need to sweat this out anymore. How about an empty netter to make everyone feel good?” Well, Riker described this as the bippity bouncy bouncy ball. That’s right. Which I guess is accurate, if you will. So, uh, we’re on Riker’s side cuz we are Riker today, but Kale Mar empty net. There’s some breathing room at the end of the game. I actually wrote down it’s, uh, boppity bounce. Oh, boppity bounce. Sorry. Get that right. Okay. Boppity bounce. I was so far off. And we’re taking a look here at our final stats of the game. And man, yeah, shots were pretty even, but of course the abs winning in the category that matters the most. Hits even. Um, power play. would have loved to see the ABS get a power play. The second one was short. It wasn’t very long. It was about 20 seconds.
