Love that he is getting consistent rebounds and assists.
What’s crazy is how well he’s played in the flow of the games. Honestly wouldn’t mind seeing him hunt for his own shot/assert himself offensively a little more especially early in games.
He obviously benefits mostly from his off-ball creation and probably would get clamped by all-defensive first team type of defender if he tries to iso , but the heart and the mentality to get better is there , which is the most important and the easiest thing you can spot in a rookie. He definetly has the talent to be at the level of D.Wade some day in the future. Man , imagine him also getting bulkier further into his career, i am salivating no pause
These historic numbers keep shrinking. Still good company though.
Numbers just keep dropping and dropping do to bring an afterthought in the gameplan and too passive
Another big thing for me is the efficiency – yes he is displaying all around game which is great – yes it has all been in flow of offense (and he can possibly do more if seeking it ) great but what has shocked me so far is that he is shooting 49.4% from field and 43.8% from 6.4 3 point attempts and only having 1.8 turnovers a game – a 3 to 1 assist to turnover ratio and 58% efg while scoring 21/5/5 is pretty damn good for anyone let your first 5 games – no way this efficiency can keep up but it’s pretty damn impressive
