Demario Davis interview | Saints-Bears Postgame | 2025 NFL Week 7
motion them. It was tough offensive to stop. All right. Well, let’s hear what Deario Davis, another linebacker, had to say. Side of things, 220 something from Chicago. Is there any anything just off first glance kind of ended up? Uh, I mean, I think first thing in this game you want defensively you want to be able to do is stop the run. Um, I think in moments we were able to do that and other moments we weren’t able. Um, would have to look at the tape and know exactly how um, that happens. Sometime that can be skewed. It could be uh get, you know, QB scrambles or uh trick plays and gadget plays that can add up into that. I would have to see the tape to to know. Um how do you think the the defense kind of responded, I guess, after getting down in that early hole? Kind of I thought, you know, um when we hit the field, uh I feel like today we started fast. um feel like, you know, there was some uh change of possessions that um were in um situations where you got to be able to get a stop and we were able to do that. I thought we did some good things on third down. Um got an early takeaway. Um just but in this game when you come up short, you got to find a way to do more. Um and uh certainly have to look at the tape and figure out where where the plays that we kind of left left some meat on the bone. and uh Caleb just extending plays like how difficult is that uh going up against somebody like that who’s just kind of sometimes keep play alive six seconds I think that that’s um every week got to be able to find a way to get those guys on the ground um you know when when you have the opportunity you got to find a way to get them down I know uh that was one I feel like I could have had him um he got it out late into the running back and So, um, you just got to find a way. You got to give him credit. You know, that’s, um, why he’s a number one pick. That’s that’s the kind of plays they hoping on for him to make. And as a defense, you got to find a way to stop him. And, uh, I know we’ve asked you this sort of stuff before, but, one of six, like, how do you all keep it all together? Oh, one week at a time. Um, you you stay resilient. I think when when you faced a lot in life, um you realize it’s it’s a whole lot easier to do in football. And it’s just when your process is right, you just go back to your process and you tweak tweak where um it’s dealing with a screwdriver and not with a hammer. Um just find out where what areas that you can tighten up and uh go back to work. And um I think there’s no doubt about you know this group of men in the locker room that is ever that you ever going to have to question that. Um and we take a lot of pride in that and just keep tweaking right there at the door. Um you keep knocking eventually it’s going to fall down in your favor. Any surprises this week from Chicago? Any surprises that you saw in the upcoming offense? No, it it was no it was no uh surprises. Um they they did a good job of running the football uh very effectively. Um I don’t think we ever in a position to in the game where we were able to get them where they couldn’t run the football. And that’s where you really want to be is um take away not just the ability to run the football, but um take away the ability to run the football because the game is in your favor. And so, um, we didn’t do that. Um, you know, so I got to give them credit. I think they had, uh, some some good shifts in motions that, you know, kind of kept us on the toes and I think they mixed the play action in well off of it as well. So, um, you know, major shout out to their offense. Thank you, Mark. Thank you. God bless.

Davis is on his way out . He needs to retire he looks tired
I think the defense did pretty good I know they did some crucial mistakes but what you expect when you're out there on the field most of the game in bad situations! Because of the offense mistakes!!😐💯⚜️
