[Schefter] A rare in-season Saturday trade: the Ravens are sending former Pro-Bowl CB Jaire Alexander and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Eagles in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick, per sources.

  1. For a 6th that’s good. Surely Jaire has something left in the tank

    Need a pass rusher though

  2. Love this move. If it works out he’s a massive upgrade at CB2.

If he doesn’t? It’s a sixth, who cares.

  3. Howie is going quantity over quality for sure, saying to himself, “Somebody gotta be good” 😂

  4. Maybe washed but for a 6th? Sure, can’t be as bad as what we’ve got our there at CB2.

  5. was a healthy scratch w/ the ravens but i suspect there’s more to it then we know. they have a terrible pass defense there’s no way he fell off bad enough to be a true healthy scratch

  6. I don’t know how he is physically because I haven’t watched him like that, but he’s a veteran player who is used to playing in heavy zone schemes. He’s smart and experienced and I find it hard to believe that he would be a worse player than Ringo, Bennett, or Jackson.

Even if he’s below average he would be an upgrade. If he’s completely cooked, then we lost a few spots in the draft (not even a full sixth rounder since we got a seventh back).

  7. Watch Uncle Vic do something wild like change CBs every snap to keep them fresh and throw off the offense

  8. Wow. that’s insanely cheap. I’ll take it. Can’t imagine him being any worse than Adoree or Ringo.
