It doesn’t matter, we’ll give him 2-4 years, ruin him, and then he’ll get picked up by a team like Tampa Bay and win comeback player of the year. This is the way.
If we draft a QB, Mendoza is the guy. If you don’t believe in Mendoza, you don’t believe in anyone and you should consider drafting Rueben Bain or Caleb Downs
No thanks. He will be fun in the UFL, but his skill set does not translate to this league. Streveler 2.0
Love him. Love the Moxie. We need a player like him.
That said, most scouts have him 6th round or later. So, I’m in if he’s around with a later pick and we addressed the QB position earlier in the draft or in free agency.
Mendoza or bust
Nah let’s trade the phins for Zach Wilson kid looks like he has potential
We have literally 0 ability to develop QBs
I’d take any of the QB prospects to at least attempt something rather than have another year of Fields hoping he puts it together finally.
Kid is dawg. Reminds me of Baker Mayfield he’s relentless.
Stop smoking whatever it is you’re smoking lol
Forgot everything and get Mike white
FUCK NO!
lol that dude is like 37 we’d only have him for a season or two before he has to retire
Ty Simpson is our guy
If anyone thinks “yeah an NFL team should get Diego Pavia” just understand that you know nothing about college football, football player development or anything about what makes a college player a potential NFL player.
I almost wish those people had a flair so everyone knew around draft time whose opinion is safe to ignore
Definitely not
I like Pavia but I’d much rather have Julian Sayin or Mendoza.
He’s gonna be the qb that when he finally gets his chance he will be a fan favorite
Stop it
Question: Thoughts
Answer: What should have been put into this before posting.
Zach Wilson 2.0
Who is it
We should be looking at the Cincy QB Sorsby
Oh God. No
I watch a TON of college football and follow 12 FBS teams closely. Those teams include New Mexico State, Cal, Purdue, Georgia and Texas A&M.
I saw every game Pavia played in his to years at NMS. He literally changed the program and made it believe it was bowl-worthy. Part of that was also Jerry Kill as head coach. I can describe Pavia as a wrestler who can play quarterback and run likea fullback. He will achieve more than it looks like he can. However, I don’t think that punches through the ceiling to be an NFL starter on a winning team.
When NMS played in the New Mexico Bowl on their rival’s home field, they used New Mexico’s indoor practice facility. Once practive was done, Pavia peed on the New Mexico logo, and a video got posted online. We’ve all done things in our younger that that we regret, but I believe he wa already 22 or 23. Frankly, while I loved watching him play for my team, that act right before his last game as an Aggie made me a little less sad, when he hit the transfer portal.
As a fan of Georgia and Texas A&M, I follow the SEC closely. Netheir of my teams played Vanderbilt last year, and the Commodores aren’t on either of their schedules this year. But Pavia is the biggest reason Vanderbilt is a top 10 team.
Can you hear my screams, Fernando?
I never wanted you to go to Bloomington
Is it over now, Fernando?
You couldhave had some glory with the Golden Bears
Now Sagapolutele almost makes me forget that you were here
There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, Fernando
The were shining there for you and me, the ACC, Fernando.
Honestly, Fernando comes to mind, when I watch a Cal game, and Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele makes a freshman mistake. As a Purdue fan, I hate having him play for rival Indiana. The Hoosiers will close their regular season in West Lafayette, and I dread what Fernando will do to the Boilermakers. He is absolutely the real deal, and I think his skill set translates well to the NFL.

As a second QB picked later in the draft? Sure.
Not as the primary guy.
