  1. >I’m told this is a planned rest for Embiid, not a reaction to new issues in his knee. The goal: padding appearances with off days.

  2. It’s unfortunate that we have 2 back to backs coming up, so we likely only see Embiid in 2 of the next 5 games

  3. We already knew Joel would be a part time player and I think it’s a good plan.

I do wanna know what type of cut Barlow got to be out this long. Did he get scratched by Freddy or something?

  4. Damn, Joel seemed ok after the Celtics but I kind of expected this.

Wtf is going on with Barlow?

  5. I really like how they’re managing Embiid. We’ve seen a million times him being MVP level and getting hurt before the playoffs, I’m happy they’re finally heavily restricting him. I know he’s complaining he doesn’t get time to ramp up but he can spend the last month of the season ramping up and be in great shape for the playoffs

  6. Yeah.. embiid was limping and jumping with one leg yesterday, not good. I doubt he will play 40 games this season, probably his knee will flare up sadly.

  7. Man… Maxey, VJ, and Oubre are top 3 in minutes per game in the entire league. We really need some reinforcements.

  8. I’m all for this Embiid load management. All that matters is he’s healthy at the end of season. This group we have now has shown that they aren’t completely lost when Jo isn’t on the floor

  9. I’m guessing PG and McCain will be back Saturday when they return home? McCain maybe a little longer

  10. Need Bona to play more disciplined and Watford and Walker to just plain play better. Justin Edwards shouldn’t play at all, sadly.

  11. Happy with this. Prioritise his health above anything.

Would be good if we can have a blowout win and rest guys in the 4th.

  12. Looks like big fella is gonna miss 2/3 as we go into a b2b after this. If he misses the first game of it he gets a real long rest and doesn’t have to play until Wednesday

  13. So load management is not a thing that can be penalized for, other than not qualifying for awards right?

They can just do whatever with Embiid’s rest all year without penalty?
