  1. I went over to my Dad’s house to watch it. I watched game 6 in 2011 at the same house. When we got up 3-1 I wanted to see us win in the same spot. I was probably tempting fate but there was no way we were losing that series after game 1. It was meant to be.

  2. In the ballpark watching it on the big screen.

I remember the sheer joy and jumping up and down with tears in my eyes. Embracing my pregnant wife and knowing I’d get to tell my boy about it one day.

  3. I was on a flight home to DFW from DCA. Watched the game on my phone using AA’s in flight entertainment. We got to the gate right at the last out. My gate was near the Chilis in terminal C. People inside the airport were going crazy. Having been a long time Rangers fan, it was a surreal and ecstatic feeling!! Never forget it!!

  4. At the fire station around a bunch of guys that didn’t understand what the big deal was. I wept

  5. I was working as a bartender in California. My bar was packed with my regulars who all came in to watch the series with me despite them not caring about either team. Probably 30-40 people came in just to watch me celebrate our first championship. It was a beautiful night

  6. My body literally shut down when sborz threw the last pitch and the umpire rung up marte. I collapsed on the floor and didn’t get up for like 5 minutes. I missed the team run on the field celebrating because of that lol. Started to cry a little then watched seager get his ws mvp trophy. There’s not 1 rangers fan who will ever forget what they did when they saw the final strike that put 63 years of misery to bed.

See, I get everybody’s frustration for the last 2 seasons. But the rangers are a franchise that will hold on to a world series victory as long as possible. I’m still to this day so happy to have seen the rangers win a world series and they got like a 10 year grace period where I just can’t complain about the team because of 2023.

  7. I was at Globe Life at the watch party. Lost my voice. Got emotional. Joined the festivities outside of the park and listened to the fan all the back to Gtown. Ate really shitty whataburger on the ride home too but didnt care. The Rangers won. Thats all that mattered to me.

  8. I was there in Phoenix at the game with my wife who was 5 months pregnant with our daughter. I was going to do whatever was necessary to witness history in person because I knew it might never happen again. Went to games 1, 4 and 5 of the Series.

  9. Watching at home with the Eric Nadel call being 15 seconds delayed on Sirius XM. When the final out came, I waited patiently until I could hear him say “He struck him out looking!!!!!!” And “Rangers fans you aren’t dreaming!”

I remember 2010-2011. And the years from 1985 to present.

That was an unreal out of body experience. And I teared up.

  10. At the Mavs game, watched the ending with the rest of the AAC on the jumbotron . Dallas sports were looking so bright at that moment, what a shame.

  11. I was at my uni’s dorm watching in my bed and got my roommate invested to watch too

  12. I was there at Chase Field! It was one of the most memorable moments of my life. My four closest friends and I made the trip, and we’ve been reminiscing about it ever since.

  13. At The Shed jumping into the arms of fellow middle aged men having the most cathartic moment of my life.

  14. In my room screaming, watery eyes, choked up and getting congratulation texts from my baseball fan buds. Parents also texting me ecstatic about the win.
I still get choked up watching the HLs from the ALCS & WS

I sports cried. Called my grandpa who waited since day one to see his beloved ballclub finally win. All those trips with him and my dad to see the rangers play and most of the time lose flooded back. All worth it.

  16. Crying like a bitch at my house without knowing my wife was filming. It’s lost footage as we know it!

  17. I was the only Rangers fan at the sports bar down the hill from me here in Pittsburgh, getting shit for asking for a Rangers game

“The World Series! Not the NY Rangers!”

  18. “HE STRUCK HIM OUT LOOKING! IT’S OVER! IT’S OVER! THE RANGERS HAVE WON THE WORLD SERIES! RANGERS FANS, YOU ARE NOT DREAMING! THE RANGERS ARE THE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS! AFTER FIFTY-TWO YEARS IN TEXAS, SIXTY-THREE YEARS AS A FRANCHISE! THE WAIT IS OVER, AND THE CELEBRATION HAS BEGUN!”

    -Eric Nadel

I still tear up at Nadel calling that. I was at home jumping up and down in my lucky Pudge jersey

(Sorry, this is NOT working for me right now)
