But the NFL draft provides a lot of potential possibilities. And it sure feels like the Tyler Shuck announcement is going to be on the way. We got all that coming up for you on today’s episode. We appreciate you very much. Head over to fanduel.com today to get started. The New Orleans Saints have said a lot of things over the course of the past few like let’s call it couple days, right? Saturday, excuse me, Sunday and Monday following the benching of Spencer Rattler in the second half of their 23-3 loss up against the Tampa Buccaneers and turning the offense over in that game to Tyler Shuck for the remainder of that second half. And based on everything that we’re hearing so far, it sure feels like the Saints are warming up to a Tyler Shuck announcement. Now, listen, I could potentially be way off base on this. I’m recording this Monday night. We’ll see how things go for the Saints. I don’t expect the Saints to say too much up until Wednesday, unless something leaks before then. But this team has done a very good job keeping everything in and close to the vest. And so, we’ll see where things head. But for New Orleans, based on everything that Kell Moore has said, it feels like it’s going to be Tyler Shuck’s job moving forward. Let’s put everything together here. Tyler Shock, excuse me, Kell Moore has made it a point to make sure that everybody knows that he does not want to be flip-flopping quarterbacks. benching a quarterback in the second half, which was a surprise in and of itself, even to Spencer Rattler, as he admitted after the game. That feels like if you’re going to do that and make that decision, which was a pretty loud statement in that moment, and say that the reason that you did it was to provide a spark for your offense, then it sure does feel like going back to Spencer Rattler is not going to be a very effective move for the young quarterback. And what I mean by that is a confidence issue at that point, right? Spencer Rattler was benched because Kell Moore wanted more aggression on his offense. He wanted to find more explosive plays. He wanted a spark on offense. He wanted to be able to move more consistently. Effectively, by benching Spencer Rattler and saying that all of those reasons were amongst the reasons to turn to Tyler Shuck, you’ve effectively said that Spencer Rattler does not bring those things to your offense. And so now the idea of going back to Spencer Rattler in this situation creates a big- time looking over the shoulder kind of a situation because if you want more explosiveness, if you want more consistency, if you want more aggression, putting a quarterback out that you just benched once who now is not going to be able to work out of his mind the idea that if he messes up, he will get benched again is probably not likely to find you those explosive plays. is probably not likely to take the risks necessary, is probably not to to find those explosive plays, is probably not necessarily going to be more aggressive. He might play a little bit tighter. Now, listen, we know Spencer Rattler, right? Spencer Rattler is somebody that when there are opportunities to get downfield, he’s taking those opportunities. But if you’ve already put in his mind that he could be benched for not giving you those things and then you put him out on the field and tell him now go get me those things, it feels unlikely that’s going to reap major benefits for this team. The other thing is that he has said over and over again that he does not want to be flip-flopping at quarterback. And if you bench a quarterback for one quarterback and then go back to the quarterback, you’re effectively flip-flopping at quarterback in that situation. And finally, he has also said Kellen Moore that everything about the decision that we will see here this week ahead of Wednesday’s practice when it comes to or maybe after like right, you know, we might get the announcement after Wednesday’s practice. But everything leading up to that so far has been about looking ahead at the Los Angeles Rams game and wanting to make sure that they can put a team on the field that can go out there and win them a football game, which is something that this team has been very adamant about. Yes, it’s a development year, but they’re still trying to compete and they’re still trying to win games in the process as well. That’s a key piece to keeping everybody on board, keeping your veterans on board in particular, so on and so forth. But if the idea here is we got to find somebody that’s going to be able to put them in position or they got to go out there and find somebody that’s going to put them in position to beat the Los Angeles Rams, but the one quarterback that you started the game with up against Tampa Buccaneers wasn’t enough for you to feel like you could beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It sure doesn’t feel like all of a sudden you’re going to deem him Spencer Rattler, the guy that’s going to bring you out there to beat the Los Angeles Rams, right? like the logical inconsistency there I think is pretty clear. Now, none of this is to say that Spencer Rattler can’t do those things. None of this is to say or take anything away from Spencer Rattler at all, who I still think deserves a lot of credit for the improvements that he made coming out of his rookie year and going into his second year. It doesn’t mean that he is the player that the Saints should choose for their starting role moving forward, but he had he did show that improvement. And we got to remember there’s a human element to this, right? same thing that I talked about when Dennis Allen was fired. Like, yes, this is a big moment for the Saints. It’s a era, dawn of a new day, all those other things, but there is still a human element to stories like that. And there is still a human element to a story like this. Spencer Rattler could potentially be losing his opportunity to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, at least for right now. And that is something he has worked his entire life to be able to get to. And it’s also something that Tyler Shuck has worked his entire life to be able to get to. And so we can be, you know, kind of happy for one guy but also still feel for the other guy because opportunities are opportunities. And it is exciting to see these guys get those opportunities one way or another. But when you are coming out and saying like this guy effectively didn’t give what we were looking for for this thing and so we went to this guy, going back to the first guy just doesn’t feel like you’re necess it feels like you’ve already made your statement, right? And so this is all of these are reasons why I believe that at this point the Saints are likely to just turn this thing over to Tyler Shuck. And I shouldn’t even say it this way because it’s not a just it’s a big decision and it’s a decision that obviously Tyler Shuck has done enough to prove that he deserves, right? This isn’t just being handed to anybody. It’s also not being unjustly taken away from anybody. This is part of the process. This is part of the business. Right? We’ve talked a lot about Spencer Rattler versus the business and right now the business is businessing and it’s businessing real hard and so we got to see exactly where the things go with this. But man, it sure does feel like not wanting to flip-flop at quarterbacks, wanting to put yourself in the best position to win counter or or or I shouldn’t say counter, but mirrored with the decision that you just made where you didn’t feel like one guy was good enough to get you a win right midame. And then the idea of the lack of confidence that you could instill in a guy like Spencer Rattler who is still a young quarterback, let’s not forget, in benching him once and then saying, “Now go out there and be aggressive and go and get those explosive plays, take a lot of risks.” It’s going to be really tough to kind of see how that path forward could really bring in fruits for the labor. And so to me, this feels very much like, and again, I could be wrong here, the Saints are moving towards making the decision that Tyler Shuck will be the starter going up against Los Angeles Rams. And if that’s the case, he should be the starter for the rest of the year. So, the Saints get a fair sample size of both of these quarterbacks before hitting the offseason. And speaking of the offseason, this year’s NFL draft, where the New Orleans Saints currently hold the number one overall pick, it gives the New Orleans Saints a lot of possibilities and a lot of opportunities. Let’s discuss what those could look like next as we continue on with today’s episode of Locked On Saints, part of Lockdown Podcast Network, your team every day. The New Orleans Saints are in an intriguing position when it comes down to uh the 2026 NFL draft, which could be a doozy for this team as they currently sit with a number one overall selection at 1 and seven, tied amongst a few other teams that are in that category. The New York Jets just got their first win on the season this past week. The Tennessee Titans are awful. The uh the uh uh Miami Dolphins are still kind of in that, you know, landscape as well. And so for me, what I’m looking at when it comes to where the Saints are is that things are very interesting in terms of where things could go for them. Is this a team that’s going to maintain the number one overall selection and then thereby take a quarterback? Because I think if you’re drafting number one overall, you got to take a quarterback. like and you take the quarterback right now it’s probably Fernando Mendoza out of Indiana 6’5 220 plus sitting right now with 1,923 uh passing yards 23 touchdowns to just three interceptions with a completion percentage of 72.9% so he’s looked really good so far this season and when you got guys like Elijah Serat to throw to you’re probably going to look pretty good but I do think Mendoza has a lot of the necessary tools including NFL size arm uh arm strength good accuracy m, you know, really good personality. I love his attitude, all those other pieces, too. And I love the coach that he plays for over in Indiana as well. And so, I think there’s a lot to be said in terms of what he could potentially be as a development piece or maybe even a ready-made prospect coming into uh the league. And so, I I think that if you’re drafting number one overall, that’s probably the direction that you’re going. You’re going quarterback. But if you fall to number two, maybe you could make the argument to go quarterback there. Obviously, Dante Moore out of Oregon has been a fast riser so far this or throughout this uh college football season. He’s not the only quarterback that’s going to continue to be in those early first round conversations. However, we’ll see where things go with guys like, I don’t know, Tai Simpson and um uh uh uh uh you know, I don’t think Arch Manning is going to be in the conversation anymore. But now that Brian Kelly’s out in LSU, what does that end up mean? And and more importantly, Sloan is out at LSU, what an awful offense that was. Uh maybe that boosts uh Doug Garrett Nusmeer up a little bit. I don’t know. But if you’re picking number one or number two, you’re probably taking the number one or number two quarterback. Although in this year’s class, I feel like it’s kind of one or none for me. But that’s you know how I am on quarterbacks. If you’re an everyday, you’ve heard me on it all the time. I always believe like there’s one or two guys and then the rest you can just pass on. Um and so that’s not going to be any different for me probably going into this one except for Diego Pavia. If I can get him in the fifth or sixth round, I’m taking him just cuz I want that guy in my locker room. But outside of that, um the Saints have a lot of possibilities here when it comes to what they can do. And let’s talk about this not just from the first round pick perspective, but now the first and second round pick perspective. Because if the Saints are drafting number one and number 33, you’ve kind of got two first round picks lightly, lightly speaking, right? So, it gives you an opportunity to be able to grab a quarterback and a weapon, a weapon and a defensive piece, a defensive piece and a weapon. Like, there’s a lot of different ways that the New Orleans Saints could go in this situation and in this draft. So, let’s look at some of the pairings that Saints could potentially walk away with. Let’s say that the Saints at pick number one overall take a Fernando Mendoza. What about going at number 33 with a wide receiver like Chris Bell out of Louisville or keeping Mendoza and Serat together and bringing in Lijah Serat out of uh Indiana or potentially going with other wide receivers that could be available if somebody falls out of the first round that could be pretty interesting or something like that then maybe you can end up going that route. being able to match the quarterback with a pretty good and a really good pass catching option or weapon at a place at a position that I think will be deemed by the end of the season a position of need uh at wide receiver or will continue to be deemed in that case. Okay, let’s say you don’t like that. Maybe you want to go with a a defensive piece early, which the Saints haven’t been able to do pretty often because they’re always kind of investing in offensive line when they’re early on in these in these drafts. um maybe you go a defensive piece early and then you circle back to a you know offensive piece in that second round. Well, if you go let’s say the Saints end up with the third overall selection instead of one of the top two selections, I think you go non-quarterback, best sound quarterback at that point. For me right now, it’s a guy like Ruben Bane, the pass rusher out of Miami. Could be a very interesting piece. Now, he’s got to pass some of those size and speed question marks that are certainly going to be there for him. 6’3, 275 lbs. How do you kind of deal around that? Two sacks so far on the season, but has been a very athletic and disruptive player and then you circle back around to that first half with guys that you could potentially bring in. Maybe a John Matier makes sense at that point if you want to roll the dice on another second round quarterback. But I hear you. You probably don’t want to do that. Then all of a sudden some of these other players begin to make sense. The Penn State corner, uh, uh, AJ Harris, uh, you could go back to that wide receiver as well and find another weapon. There’s a lot of different routes that the Saints could go with this. Maybe they take the weapon at number three or number five overall in a Jordan Tyson, the wide receiver out of Arizona State, and then circle back to a defensive piece in the second round, a defensive lineman like a Caleb Banks out of Florida, or maybe you can go with another edge rusher if you can find somebody that you feel comfortable with. Maybe a guy that falls out of the first round like a Cashes Howell out of Texas A&M. And so there are a lot of these different ways that the Saints could potentially move when it comes to this draft, especially if they’re drafting in the top three or I even say top five of either of the first two rounds because it also gives you the FOD that you need Allah the New York Giants last year to be able to trade back into the first round and potentially take two first round picks. So, what if you could walk away with a quarterback of your choosing or an offensive piece of your choosing and then an Arbell Reese by trading back into the middle of the first round or something like that? Like, there’s a lot of creative things that you can do when you’ve got that kind of draft capital. And so, the opportunities and the possibilities become endless. What if you end up with the number one overall pick, but really like what you saw from Tyler Shuck, you ended up in the first round, or you ended up first overall for a different reason, you feel really comfortable at your quarterback. could you trade back, stack some assets, and then work on building toward that? That’s kind of how the Philadelphia Eagles got into a certain situation when they were a team that ended up moving back or moving around and things like that. You think about the Miami Dolphins being on the opposite side of that conversation as well. And so these pieces or really no, it was the Miami Dolphins that were on that side of the conversation when it was, wasn’t it the 49ers that traded up for Tre Lance, right? And so then you end up stockpiling a bunch. Now the Dolphins didn’t do great with all that stuff, but they did stuff with that stuff. Uh, but could that give you the fodder that you need to do some interesting things here throughout the next couple of years as you work to build up this team? So, lots of really intriguing possibilities when it comes to the 2026 NFL draft. We’ll see where things go for New Orleans, but this is going to be something worth tracking and worth continuing to revisit here throughout the season as the Saints make their decisions and get more information at the quarterback position. Coming up next, if the Saints decided all of a sudden that they wanted to go the veteran quarterback route, 2026 is not the year to do it. If the New Orleans Saints wanted to all of a sudden, let’s say about face and turn over to the veteran quarterback route in 2026, they’re going to have a really, really rough time uh doing so. You’re going to have a bad time if you decide to go that route in this upcoming free agency class. Let me explain why. So, here’s the reason why I’m thinking about this as well, just so you have a little bit of the context. Um, New Orleans did not go this route in 2025. Although some thought maybe they would after the retirement up surprise retirement of Derek Carr. There was some conversation about whether or not the Saints would go out there and find themselves some veteran quarterback, maybe even trade for a quarterback. There were a lot of those conversations going on u not inside the facility, but about the Saints and around the Saints about going out and getting a veteran quarterback to kind of serve as the bridge quarterback until Tyler Shuck was ready or until Spencer Rather had hit a certain point in his development. And the Saints decided that they weren’t going to go that route and that instead they went with their young first, second, and third year quarterbacks. And then they had their veteran quarterback presence with the XNFL quarterbacks that are on their staff, head coach Kell Moore, uh, offensive coordinator Doug Nusmeer. You look at Scott Tolene, the quarterback’s coach, and of course, Taesm Hill had been in the building over the course of the entire time, even though he wasn’t on the field. He, as Spencer Rattler even noted a couple weeks ago, Taesm Hill had been the veteran in that room. And so that was the route that they went. Now, if they go through this 2025 season and are displeased with their options in the building, they could potentially say, you know what, going the veteran quarterback bridge route for 2026 and then we’ll work on finding the quarterback over the course of that process. But if they decided to go that route, it would be a little ill advised because the 2026 free agency quarterback class is bleak. Very, very bleak. I’ve grouped these players into a couple of different categories. Those who bring some promise, those who bring no promise, and the backup quarterbacks. And so, there are two quarterbacks that I think could potentially bring a franchise promise, but I don’t think would bring the New Orleans Saints promise for a variety of different reasons. The number one quarterback on everyone’s list going or going into free agency next offseason is going to be Daniel Jones, as they call him now, Indiana Jones. Shout out to Dylan Sanderson filling me in on that. He has had a complete revitalization over with the Indianapolis Colts and has gone from being one of the biggest quarterback busts in the NFL with the New York Giants to one of the best quarterback success stories in the NFL. And no one’s going to convince me any otherwise. He is playing extremely well. However, Colts ain’t letting him out of Indianapolis. Ain’t no way they’re letting up up out of Indianapolis. They failed on the uh process when it came to Anthony Richardson and they have a get out of jail free card despite their malfeasants and now they are not going to let that go and so they will extend Daniel Jones more than likely keep him in Indianapolis and of course Daniel Jones who they believed in is going to take that opportunity up ahead of him. So, with that being the case, I think Daniel Jones is off the board for New Orleans and probably not somebody the Saints would be looking for anyway as a bridge quarterback. Daniel Jones has proven that he can be an NFL quarterback for you. He can be a starter for you moving forward. The other player that I think would bring promise to some organizations, but not the New Orleans Saints is Aaron Rogers. Why do I think Aaron Rogers would bring promise to some organizations? Because some organizations have shown you with the incredible cat-and- mouse game that they played all off season when it came to Aaron Rogers over the course of last year. However, Aaron Rogers has already said that he will not play in New Orleans on weather being a factor alone. And there’s no way that I could see him and Kell Moore working. There’s no way that I could see those two working. Aaron Rogers working with a head coach that’s an offensive minded head coach that’s younger than he is. I don’t see Aaron Rogers uh doing that. So, those two guys to me would probably be the guys that bring the quote most promise. I don’t think Aaron Rogers brings a lot of promise, but NFL franchises tend to. And so neither of those guys are going to be available. Then come the guys that don’t bring you any promise. Guys like Russell Wilson who’s already shown you both from a talent a diminishing talent standpoint and a regressing of reputation standpoint that he’s not probably a good option for you as a bridge quarterback, which is part being a leader and part keeping the organization together while they get things figured out, rebuild, retool, and develop their roster. I don’t think you can look at Russell Wilson in today’s day and age as that quarterback. Joe Flacco could be an option. He’s been a hero for a couple of different organizations, spending time with uh the Cleveland Browns, the Indianapolis Colts, now the uh Cincinnati Bengals, where the Browns inexplicably traded him across the division. I’ll never understand that move. Uh, but I don’t know that this one maybe this one is the best possible option for you. But with him turning 41 years old next year, I don’t know how much he’s going to really be able to bring you when it comes to the competitive standpoint. But maybe you don’t care about that and that’s okay. Uh, and then the other guy that’s really interesting and I’m sure a lot of people are going to point to is Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kenny Picket. Why? Because he’s got a little bit of a connection with Kell Moore. I don’t think that it’s enough. you’re looking for a quarterback that could potentially help you compete, that can help you win some games while you’re developing these other quarterbacks, show you some leadership uh qualities, and help to keep your franchise together. I don’t think Kenny Picket is that guy based on his losing track record and very um inexperienced leadership opportunities that he has seen so far in the NFL. So, I think that that’s important. So, instead, maybe you’re hoping that other quarterbacks could potentially shake loose. You’re hoping that maybe Jameus Winston finds his way out of New York. Maybe you’re fi hoping that uh Teddy Bridgewwater doesn’t resign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Is he close at home in uh San Francisco. Maybe you’re hoping for a guy like M. Jones who just went through that Shanahan car wash to potentially make his way to free agency. He’s got through 2027 on his deal technically. So, we’ll see. But it’s clear to me that the Saints best options are either a quarterback that’s already in the building panning out or reinstituting or reinvesting in the position in the draft in 2026. Going the veteran quarterback route just isn’t likely to yield based on the class that we think is going to be available at this time to yield you the results that you might be looking for to navigate a rebuild, give you a bridge, and get to a younger quarterback. you’re hoping that one of these quarterbacks pans out or that the Saints can land one in the draft. All right, coming up in tomorrow’s episode, midweek prospects, sure things in the 2026 NFL draft. We’ll go over the names that you need to know. We appreciate you very much. The New Orleans Saints grapple with a crucial quarterback choice between Spencer Rattler and Tyler Shough. Head coach Kellen Moore’s opposition to quarterback flip-flopping and post-game comments hint at Shough getting the starting role soon.
2026 NFL Draft strategies become the focal point as the Saints hold the first overall pick. They weigh options like selecting a quarterback or strengthening other areas such as defense or offensive line. Fernando Mendoza, Chris Bell, and Rueben Bain Jr. emerge as potential targets.
Free agency quarterback options for 2026 look sparse. Daniel Jones and Aaron Rodgers top a bleak class, with Russell Wilson, Joe Flacco, and Kenny Pickett rounding out the list. The Saints’ best path forward might involve developing in-house talent or reinvesting through the draft.

Saints should go out and get Dante moore
There were less than 15 runs in the game. Kamara in the backfield and it's the same RB blast play on first down. Play calls are predictable. SOOOO predictable. Moore needs an offensive coordinator.
Who else do they have I'm only one of maybe two people that thought Hill can play quarterback so that ain't going to happen but Rattler had 13 games to show he can win is he playing with top players nope but he has the same as Carr had to throw to
Taysom Hill did a great job for us as QB! He went 7-2 as a starter when Brees got hurt. Looking back now, we should have built a team around him. I think (along with Drew Brees) that would have been a lot more successful than playing musical QB like we have been these last few years lol. But let’s give Shough a shot! Who know? He may surprise us all!
I'd expect the Saints to get investigated for tanking by year end if they go with Shough.
The only thing that'll save them is probably that Tyler will get hurt, as he always did in college.
Shough lost the QB competition, never won a big game in SEVEN years of college ball, has shown nothing that makes Saints competitive.
If Shough is announced over healthy Taysom Hill and Spencer Rattler, that's wild. And Rattler should honestly request trade or release.
That was meant as a response to kevinweeks lol.
Why are we spending all this time talking about QBs we might draft next season? Rattler Ball is finally over, Tyler Shough has 9 games coming up to show us what he’s got (or not), and he deserves the same respect and support everyone gave Rattler. We just watched 15 straight Rattler starts, the results were terrible, and now it’s time to focus on our new QB1. Next year is next year.
Who Dat
If we go Qb next year I like Simpson and King but if we don’t I would like to get Jeremiah Smith 6’3 223lbs and can run a 4.35 in the 40. We need Jeremiah frfr
Shough hasn’t even started a game and Ross talking about which QB to draft in April. 🤦♂️
I think Spencer is better but might as well get a look at Tyler
Kellan if your going to 2yard pass throw to your running backs . Your speed receivers don't want to take the hits. And them trying block is laughable, cook is the only one that caught the ball.
I just hope we dont get the first overall because the qb is cheeks. As long as we feel comfortable with Shough idc where we end up in the draft.
I really had wanted Spencer to work out but he didn’t get the job done
Rattler has had plenty of chances. Time to see what the second round pick can do
the rat was never going to be the guy……fans were just trying to will it to be…
Shough was named the new QB1 for the Saints -Ian Rapoport
Tyler Shough is no more then a fourth or fifth rounder that was hand picked in the second round of the draft by Kellen Moore. Ross, it sounds like you are making Tyler Shough the savior of the Saints football team. With a inconsistent offensive line, running game, receiving cast, defense, Field goal kicker and coaching staff, the problem is not the QB. I understand the Saints are in re-build mode, Kellen Moore is a rookie head coach and it takes time to re-build a competitive football team. To say Tyler Shough is going to come in and change this whole football team around is crazy, and Ross you know better. Next season, if Kellen Moore learned anything, almost half the players on the field will not be back. On his second season Kellen Moore shou;d bring in true top quality players, and who ever the QB may be, start building the team around him, it's then we will see the Saints win at least 8 games. In 2027 if the Saints are not competing for the NFC south title or a playoff spot, Kellen Moore as this young offensive coaching genius, was or is not that guy. Just A Fan Keeping It Real.
Daniel "Indiana" Jones is about to get paid 💰
Think they’re making a big mistake. More than likely the time they vested in Rattler will benefit another team as soon as his rookie contract runs up. I guarantee there are teams interested in him, and I don’t think he got a real fair shake here. He’s went through a number of coaches, he hasn’t had much of a veteran presence to sit behind, he’s just been thrown out there with lack of offensive lines and players that just don’t wanna catch the ball. They kinda ruined it when they benched him, because they told him upfront that he pretty much was the quarterback for the season. That they wouldn’t be benching him for another quarterback at the beginning of the season. So that kind of wears on a players confidence in a coaching staff on whether he can trust what they say. I see him going to another team just like Sam Darnold did and getting a better chance with a team that hasn’t got to be rebuilt. We all knew that this season would be bad, but everyone is putting the losses on Rattler. I see a lot of this being on coaching and also play calling.
Think you’re right on all points nevertheless this will be a huge waste if this is the only change on offense.
Let’s all support shough and rally behind him!
Gosh yall im so exhausted with this can we talk about the damn team issues when neither one of them is better than the other this been a daily or weekly thing since training camp but our oline moving around like dominoes on a table, what about this up and down defense, kicker can’t even kick 30 yard FG yet we are so consumed with 2 mid level QBs
The QB aint the problem ALL honesty I tried not to be negative but he wasnt great in Dalls or the chargers and lucked up in Philly but he wont do what they think he'll do no hate but shough aint it
I don't care who the QB is 2 things I notice we inconsistent missed Tackles. We got midget WR in the game In The redzone😂 come own now
We drafting a quarterback next year. Either Moore,Simpson,Mendoza possibly even Beck.
DEFENSE TOO MANY MISSED TACKLES FOR ME!
REDZONE OFFENSIVE NEED TAYSON HILL AT QB AND BIGBODY WR THAT HELPS A TON IN THE REDZONE LIKE A DEVAUGHN VELE
PLEASE NO SHORT WR IN THE REDZONE NO MASON TIPTON, RASHID SHAHEED, OR BRANDIN COOKS
For everyone complaining about screen plays, run game, and QBs: There is a massive first round draft pick sized hole at LG that defenses are driving clean through and no one could be successful at QB with this issue. Run and screen plays require a good o line, and this offense isn't good is because the o line is not a good unit, they can't move as a unit, they can't screen as a unit, they can't pull as a unit.
Top 3 pick is virtually assured statistically: It has to be a QB or DE as the value is not there for anything else.
Smh Rattler is not the problem yes I agree the last two games he did bad but the coach should bench all those other players that couldn’t catch a cold in Alaska lol the team needs play makers first to bench is TE j Johnson dude garbage last year during that Washington game Rattker went to Johnson for the victory and u know what happened in and out his hands that would have been Rattler first win as a rookie. Remember Archie Manning was a good quarterback but the team he played for was garbage so he never received the props he should have received
Support Shough he is the real deal
The Name Forbidden by the Saints Propagandists is Taysom Hill. Cannot Even Explore The Option. He’s only 7-2 as a Starter. Yes The Propaganda Machine has Convinced A LOT Of Saints Fans That Hill Is Simply Not a NFL Qb. The Sheep Repeat The Mantra. We Want to Win… Taysom Hill!!!
Now watch The Feeling patrol, just say “Hill is Not An NFL Qb”. For all you Sheep, Define What An NFL Quarterback Is, Then Please Explain Why Hill Does NOT Reach Those Criteria!!!!!!
I got a good feeling about shuck. He had alotta time to watch
Ross Jackson and his Spencer Rattler waifu pillow are going to have a ROUGH week together.
Rams on the road a tough first start assignment – But, IF he survives the rams game, in la he will be better for it when he then goes against weaker teams
Who wouldn’t want the number one draft pick in the league, I’ll play Tyler too.
It’s just time for the Saints to tear it down the wide receivers are no good. The oline is no good. The defense is no good special teams is horrendous. Play calling and design is terrible.
Please no Jameis OMG y'all kill me with him
Spencer has the inability to help this team win games. That is the no 1 thing a QB is supposed to do. Shough should have started day 1. I saw enough of Rattler last season I blame Kellen Moore for his lack of insight. As your QB goes… so does your team. Period always has been that way. We are not re inventing the wheel here.
