If not for David Ortiz’s grand slam against Benoit…I firmly believe we would have gone on and won the WS that year

I cannot see Max without getting sad. That 2013 team will always hold a very special place in my heart

  3. I’m beyond pumped to see him pitch. It’ll always hurt that they couldn’t get it done but I’m rooting hard for that psycho to do the job.

  4. Interesting how they ignored his Mets and Dodgers hats. He was pretty much a disaster for those teams, especially in the playoffs.

  8. It really hurts that we never won with him but I will always support him no matter what team he is on (as long as he’s not playing us, or for the Guardians). He was a very integral part of my childhood with the excitement he brought every time he pitched for us 

  9. I remember watching that happen I. Disbelief. Still have the vision of Tori Hunter flipping over railing into bullpen.

  13. Even in our down years we’ve almost always been spoiled with great starting pitching. Always root for Max in the postseason too.

  16. He was an85 pitch pussy in Detroit. 85 and couldn’t get to his seat on the bench fast enough. Warrior Max came later.
