NHL Highlights | Canucks vs. Wild | November 01, 2025
But boy has he bounced back early and and he’s
he’s been Vancouver’s best player. Underway from Grand Casino Arena. Riel wins it cleanly. Back to
the point. Marcus Patterson tried to send it out front. Middleton battling there. Gustoson had a
poke check away. Yeah, picked up briefly there by Carlson. Wild now back in with Erikson. He sends
it across from Baldi. Spins to the forehand and fires and a save by Demco. Quick up here across
the ice. Watch that. And then he gains some ice and then just floats this over the bully. Watch
the pickup. Brings it back to a shooting space between the legs and turns around and snaps it on
Demco. But the pickup here, beautiful. And just floats it across to Johansson. He fires. Saved
by Demco. Rebound. Rossi got a piece of it to keep it alive. You’re a check. A drive that
goes wide. Buouyan picks it off the boards, spins to his backand up high and then
throws it back in. Urac in behind the net, tried to center for Rossi. Johansson now picks
it up off the wall. Marcus Johansson maybe the hottest score in the Wild roster. Five points in
his last four. Left it for Rossi in the corner. Felo out to the line for Urachek. Back in the
middle, Hennis Rosa. A drive and a pass save by Demco. Hennesa with it at center ice. Not it to
Felino. Felo moves down low. Hartman ripped it across. Urac a shot that had hit a skate in the
slot and Sherwood pushes it back out to center for Vancouver. Good pressure from the Wild and
Urech is going to the offensive zone. I mean, it’s noticeable. And here Customsson has
to make a save. Spurgeon down the boards. picks it up again in the other corner. Spurgeon
moves up high, flips it toward the net, tipped out front by Pit. Quinn Hughes in their
lineup. Their defenseman that are in the lineup tonight have combined for just one goal, 12
points all year. Johansson Vander carries back for the Conucks into the Minnesota zone. Vander
swings wide. Went short side and caught the post. Baldi gains the line. Erikson, he scores. I think it comes in on size, but they’re
looking at this right now. But beautiful play his route. Watch him get on a horse
and it’s a beautiful tip play to himself up and backwards over to Terasenko. That’s a
no little play from A. Just watch the hands on A. flips it to himself and then upwards
back over into the area of Terasenko. Then he brings it to the five hole. Demco sliding
from left to right. Tries to kick the pad out. Buham tried to get it to Terasenko but the pass
didn’t connect. Baratu to Okconor. Gustoson a kick save. Rebound they score. Okconor driving down
the slot and Vancouver takes advantage. The Booya being down in the offensive zone. His pass to
Terasenko doesn’t connect and an oddman rush the other way allows Vancouver to tie it. The Wild get
caught with Baldi playing defense and he kind of gives up a little bit too much room on the entry
and as Vancouver gets the blue line they just throw that puck on net. No, Conor goes uncontested
to the slot and the rebound sitting there on a TE. Gustoson can’t recover in time. And that’s one of
those situations too. I’m back through the middle of the ice and not drift out into soft ice.
Rossi down low. Favor Johansson a shot and a save by Demco through a set of legs and he’s got a
one-time Demco with the glove just robs him. Hey, that’s how you get a 926 save percentage and be
your team’s best player. You make a save like this. He’s got no business getting this with the
glove. Center Hartman with Spurgeon driving the middle, but his pass hopped by Felino. Felo back
to Hartman down low. Capri off and De goes there for another big save. It’s life. It’s threeon
two after threeon two right now. The Wild turn this one over. And it finds Capri off on the
back door. Demco sealing that glove side post. Boy, a lot of times you see those just
find a way to crawl through the equipment and it’s right there. Rossi spins just
inside the line tried to center. Johansson to Terraenko and another big stop by Demco
just wide. And then little chemistry here with Rossi Johansson and Terasenko. Terasenko
kind of sitting on the the quiet ice. Johansson float through the slot. One on three. Wins
a stick battle to get that onto the table. Patterson will be replaced by De
Brusk for a draw against Rossi. Middleton hustles over to
hold. Teroseno a shot save. Rebound. They score. Marco Rossi
puts Minnesota back in front. In the dot and he gets Patterson kicked
out. Now it’s De Brus. Watch that battle alone. De Bruss just leaves his
guy and that’s Marco Rossi. The check out doesn’t happen in time
and Terasenko high up in the slot. This gets that through traffic. Boy, I mean, just
good execution on a faceoff play from the Wild back into the middle. Patterson shot was blocked.
Meyers fires. Sliding save by Gustiffson. And the rebound scooped up by Henstrosza. Henestro
races in, has support on the slide. He scores. Vinny Henstrosza first of
the year. It’s 3-1 Minnesota boxing out in front of Gus and they get the shot
blocked here from Broaddin and then it’s off to the races. Hennis Rosa just collects this
one and just skates right by Tyler Myers. Mer thinks he has him. steps at the red and hit
throws it just blows right past him. Creates a twoon one and then he didn’t get cute. He just
gets this thing on the toe. Snaps it hard to that glove side and Demco gets it with the thumb
portion of the glove. But Terasenko chips it in. Rodine. Five blocks and Minnesota
adds to the lead out front. Five blocks for Broaddin. And now he finds
the back of the net and Minnesota leads it 4-1. Broaddin doing the work in his own
end and then just throws his puck on net. And Demco’s glove usually good has really
not done him any favors here in the third. Hennis Rose is gets the glove and then climbs
over the top and in this this one goes off the far side. The glove of Demco then climbs
through his equipment. Crosses the goal line. Right off the draw, Okconor scores
again. His second of the night. And the Conucks won’t go quietly. It’s now 42. We’ve seen plays right off the faceoff team here
in the third. Yeah, fourth line is has had a good game, but Trenion kind of gets caught going
outside position. We’ll take another look at it. If he goes inside his winger, he gets bumped to
the outside. That creates the shooting lane for O’ Conor. Besser to Patterson. His shot goes wide
and Hartman hammers one. L of the ice and scores. There has yet to be an empty net situation in a
wild game this season where somebody didn’t score. And it won’t be tonight as Hartman’s
empty netter makes it 52 Minnesota. Two goal lead. Dwells send a couple
down. Not afraid of an icing, but Hartman corrals this puck and just
turns around and fires it into the open cage. A great accuracy from 200 ft. Not the
response that John Hines is looking for. Final seconds here in St. Paul and
the losing streak is over at five.
