Should the Philadelphia 76ers TRADE Joel Embiid?!

What’s your thinking of Embiid? Should they trade him? Do they need to keep him? Here’s the problem. Here’s where are you with that? Here’s the problem. I think a healthy Joel Embiid is the best big man talent in the world and that includes Nicole Joic. That’s right. I said it. It’s just that you can’t compare the two because Nicole Joic is reliable. He’s always available and Embiid never is. So, I get that part. But as a talent, what Embiid brings to the table in terms of his repertoire on both sides of the ball, Joel Embiid is a monster. Here’s where the problem lies. Oz, he’s never healthy, right? But what if you moved him and then he was healthy for somebody else? You talk about being sick to your stomach with irreparable chronic a chronic illness that you’ll never get over. If you trade Joel Embiid and he gives anybody something during the postseason, you got to remember I’m a New York Knicks fan. I watched a brother average 35 on one leg. 35 on one leg with a bad back. Joel Embiid is all world. And I’m saying to you, if I could get him to play 50 games a year and be healthy for the playoffs, I’m winning. My issue is that you can never do that with him. You can never guarantee that with him. It’s never guaranteed. Exactly. And that’s my issue because we’ve been hoping for a number of years. And I just feel like it’s at the point where you got to let him go. I feel as though Yeah, but Oz, what is what is somebody going to give you for him? Oz, nobody’s going to do that because he’s always injured. They’re going to take a friendlier a deal for them. There’s no way somebody’s gonna give you extreme act, you know, extreme assets for Joel MB because of his health. That’s the problem.

  1. I couldn’t agree more. It’s insane how players like Grant Hill, Penny, Rose etc are held in such high regard because of injuries but Joel is bashed simply because of constant injuries. He literally tries to fight through it and makes it worse. Still gets bashed. Gets load managed and still gets bashed. It’s ridiculous honestly, and I’m a Suns fan. But facts are facts.

  2. Be honest though, stress fractures in the feet, torn meniscus in the right knee, and the left knee is cooked. He can still score but from a mobility standpoint he's a major defensive liability. And the $192 million contract renders him untradeable. They have to find a way to maximize his role in deference to his physical limitations. And continue to develop Bona because he can already clean the boards and opposing teams have to respect his defensive presence in the post.

  3. Hell no we should keep him trade Quentin Grimes and Paul George to relieve some salary and get some pics in the future and keep Joey knees at a minimum of minutes and keep him healthy for the playoffs… Use Joey knees like a pawn and we're going to get Jared McCain back.. but we can get a top pickfor Grimes nobody wants Paul George but package and then to get rid of that salary so we don't have to pay him for the next two or three years that would be the most common sense thing to do because you know once Jared McCain comes back he's better than Paul George right now

  4. The sixers now have a Batman who's about to be Superman it's not going away it's just starting even if we lose the next game it's still the same thing you see what TMax is… He's 24 of age and he's already Batman

  5. He was a monster his knee is at 60% and it will never get better he will never play in the playoffs unless he sits the entire regular season

  6. You're not going to find a better worker in the game at his craft since Kobe that's Tyrese maxey.. I'm feeling like a proud papa tonight

  7. Embiid’s done, He will never be healthy again, given his height, weight, and past injuries. It’s a guarantee he will be injured for the rest of his career.

  8. At this point it's addition by subtraction getting rid of him.

We have our young core , & he doesn't fit that style.

If you can get expiring contracts & one young big who needs time I'll be happy.

He's 31 & not that "all world" guy anymore. .he can't even jump over a phone book now

Keeping him & his toxic attitude & mentality is a distraction & a detriment to the development of the younger guys.
