Blackhawks at Oilers Game Highlights | 11.1.25
this season. As the pucks drop, we’re underway. Glad to have you with us on Chicago Sports Network. Owners play the puck in deep. Majapani with the dump in between the legs. Magic from the top of the crease. Puck to the point. Hawks on the attack. There’s a pass over by Burkovski. Tipped in front by Burkovski and stopped by Skinner who got a piece of that and a bouncer to the crease. One of those guys who’ve been on both sides now of the battle. Alberto, former Calgary play Majani. Here’s a pass in front. Good save by Knight off Nent Hopkins who let one fly. Knight leaves it. Classic on it. Pass ahead to Bertusi. Good play to steer it out now to Nazar. Two-on-one with Terina potentially. Nazar shoots. That’s not rebound wide off the stick. Bousard plays it in off a teammate. Puck deep. Hawks back to it but stolen. Played behind by Ross. Le throw in front. And now it’s scooped up by Dry Sidle. He’ll try and get it off the boards. Risk that ahead. Here’s Bertusi trying to work it out of the left corner, but it’s off his skate. Now the Oilers get control and work the puck to center ice. Stolen back by Blic. He’s got Nazar in front. There’s the pass. Trailers Burkovsky off the bench. Couldn’t quite take it. Renzel makes a pass. Nazar off the crossbar. That deflects out of play. Oh, what a chance for Frank Nazar. Bit flatfooted at the line there and but Coulson had good speed coming across to support that play that Coulson on the penalty shot against Spencer Knight and it’s wide. Knight maybe got a piece of that as Paul Coulson pulled it across on the forehand and couldn’t steer it in the net. Spencer Knight orers settle it down. Long feed up the near wing. Carried in by Trent Frederick trying to dangle his way through and there’s a chance now for Seavoy and a great save by Spencer Knight on a rocket by Matt Seavoy. Soft play up the boards to Slagert. He’s pinned along the wall. Puck in feet. Jab free onto the stick of Howard with a shot. That’s a stop by Knight. Rebound behind the net. Murphy’s there to settle it down. Conor McDavid. Surveys. Dryidle. Shot off the side of the goal. Owners back on it. Dryidle again. Shoots. Scores. But the word down. Will it count? After video reviews determined that time expired before the puck cross line, we have no goal. So minute six of this power play will carry over. I think so. But you know what? He’s always one that doesn’t matter when or where he’s dangerous. Tryidle on the puck. Dropped off. McDavid hit hard by Nazar. Put his shoulder on him. Here’s Nan Hopkins with a pass. They score. It’s dry. A let’s go Blue Jays Chan in Edmonton. Here’s Seavoy. Little flipper. Quick shot by Thunderick is stopped by Knight on that chance. They’ll stop and work it back up. Stopped by Skinner. Boy, that was a great look by Frank Nazar. Another one. And Skinner with a good stop. Long feed bouncing in off the skate of Howard. Knight out to play and he’ll whip it up the boards. Intercepted though. Good play by McDavid, but he hands it back to Ryan Green. Great play by McDavid. Better play by Green being in position to intercept that pass. Locks in Burkovsky. Nice pass over to Bernard. Takes a shot. Goal save. Skinner. Can’t believe it. Skinner fired out the minute and he made the stop off number 98. Henrik got away. Hawks back on it. Burkovski. Grizzly. Here’s Renzelle. Traffic in front. Pat save. Stops the rebound too and he’s able to cover up. Do plays it back to Buchard. McDavid top of the circle. Nen Hopkins cuts in behind. Makes a pass back to Bashard. Here’s McDavid. Quick shot stopped by Knight. Came across and shut down the angle on the near post. McDavid again from the half boards. Works it to the front of the goal. That pass tipped high over the head of Newton Hopkins. Here’s Bousard. They reload with a minute on the power play. Pass down low. Tipped in. Great feed by McDavid and Jack Russell. Leonov Shadow Bonjapani rides him into the corner. There’s a steal. Quick shots off traffic away finds a body wide. Vancouver Wednesday, Calgary Friday, then an afternoon game in Detroit on Sunday to wrap it up. It’s a tough one. Trying to make a move. Pass across. Krebier closes. Gets the puck out. Here goes MAV. Short-handed breakaway. Haley McCand. Stopped by Skinner. May looking for a shorty to tie it up. Leanoff who just turned 20 recently able to play it in behind the net. Barard trying to fish it out. Andre Burikovsky pots the rebound and this game is all tied up at two. who gets it back and skates up the right side. Cuts to the middle over the line trying to get around Renzelle. Ross the right can’t get a clean shot away. He lost the handle as Renzel was able to recover just being solid defensively and ending lots of plays to get going on the offense. Terrainan on the puck. Emerson cuts him off. Terrain sticks with it though. Number two in front. These are turned aside by Skinner. Terrainan trying to steal. Does. He’ll clear. And that should do it for the period. Might be icing. And we’ll get a face off in the Hawk zone with about a second to go in the third in a two-2 hockey game. Play and winning battles and pucks along the yellow or the dasher has been very obvious that they’re focused on that and committed to that. racing onto the puck down the wing. He had the tying goal. He’ll stop on the half boards. Make a pass back to Bard with a shot. Stopped by Skinner. Fights that off Bard right there. Skinner forced to cover up. Dryidle walks it across. Gets around. He’s got Bushard in front. Big save. But they score the rebound. Eva Bousard stopped on the first chance. Puts the rebound in and the Oers win it over time. [Applause] fifth career overtime winner. Well, it’s a welldeserved point. You you hope the Blackhawks could have found a way to squeeze two out of it, but they played a heck of a road game. You know, in five on five, we talked about in the third period, I thought they were a better team tonight. The Oders get two power play goals and then score in the three-on-ree.

That was heartbreaking
Took the fight to Edmonton and came away with a point, could have been worse but we still look good!
We get ‘em on the next one!
The Hawks have nothing to be ashamed of in this game! Knight, Bedard, Nazar, and Bertuzzi all played well. The Blackhawks are starting to find their groove and are playing a nice loose game of hockey.
That was a fun one to watch. Great job, Blackhawks, playing great hockey against last year's second-best team.
Grrrrr! The Blackhawks absolutely played well wnough to win this game!
Still, I am proud of them. They played really well, and Soencer Knight looked great for most of the game.
This team, while young and inexperienced, has a lot of heart and energy!! They will continue to be fun to watch all season
Levshunov played way confident tonight.
Last season I would've been surprised by any loss. This season every loss hurts.
