Bryce Young Returns To Practice Full Injury Report | Preparing For Green Bay Packers

Hey, Chris Jenkins, credential member of the media, covering the Carolina Panthers for Charlotte Vive, aka man of the people, here to get you going for the Carolina Panthers as they prepare to take on the Green Bay Packers up in Green Bay this weekend. So, you know, the first video of the week is always about that injury report and the latest transactions. So, we’re going to go through it all. As I said, I don’t think I got the latest transactions ready, so my bad. Let me use my multiple screens and get that going. I don’t have it on the screen for you, but this was done yesterday, so I want to read it to you. So, to make sure that you guys have it all. Sorry, I don’t have it on the screen, but I will read it to you twice again. Latest transactions as the Carolina Panthers are getting ready to take on the Green Bay Packers up in Wisconsin. So, we signed an outside linebacker, Trev Gibson. Again, we signed an outside linebacker, Trev Gibson, and we waved defensive tackle man. So, for me, as you guys know, I go to be transparent about things and ah, it’s it’s still tough sometimes when you meet guys or nice guys and you’re rooting for them and they don’t make it. For me, that’s uh Jaden Crumby. definitely remember his draft night talking to him and uh connected with him and hearing some of his story. But nevertheless, it’s a business. But anyway, the Carolina Panthers again waved defensive tackle Jaden Crumby. And then we signed offensive tackle Michael Taquin Tarquin Turquin. Hopefully I’m saying that right. Signed offensive tackle Michael Tarquin to the practice squad. And then we release cornerback Michael Reid from the practice squad. So again, because I don’t have it on the screen, I will read it to you guys one more time. That is signed outside linebacker Travis Gibson, wave defensive tackle Jaden Cromedy, signed offensive tackle Michael Tarquin to the practice squad, release quarterback Michael Reid from the practice squad. So those are your latest transactions. I think I got a sneeze coming on, so hold on. All right. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me. All right. So, we got a question from Rash Shack. Are you going to Green Bay this year? Unfortunately, didn’t quite make it. You guys did well and supporting the channel. We’re going to be able to use those funds for other things, but I was trying to get enough money to go to Green Bay. We weren’t able to do so. So, I will not be in Green Bay, but we do have our photographer, Patrick Snyder, traveling to Green Bay. So, we still will have the photographs that you guys are used to seeing and provide that coverage. We’ll still have our live pregame show starting at 11:00. Uh, talk about players in the locker room and etc. that we’ll be releasing and getting you prepared for the matchup, including, of course, the latest acts and really inactives for the game as we take on the Green Bay Packers. Thank you for your question, Rashack. Hopefully, I’m saying your name pretty decently and not butchering it. All right, let’s go ahead and get into this injury report. And I’m going to tell you, spoiler alert to me, it’s some news flashes on here. All right, let’s go ahead and take a look at this. Brady Christensen, offensive lineman, did not practice dealing with that Achilles. So, let me explain a few things, which is, you know, when coach talked about it, Sunday was like, I’m sorry, Monday was like, man, that’s probably going to be his season. So, that’s how he felt on Monday, right? They still want to make sure that they get late ship for you, boy. They still want to make sure they get some feedback from the surgeon after the surgery to see like is he is it still where we think it is? And then if so, they’re going to make some decisions, excuse me, on whether or not to put him on injury reserve putting him out for the season and therefore giving some open spots. All that. They’re trying to, you know, give it a few days to make sure what’s what before they make a lot of decisions across the roster. So that’s why you see him currently on the injury report because they have not made that that designation for him yet. The surprise for me, it may be for you is Andy Dalton being on this list. Our quarterback Andy Dalton did not practice today dealing with a right thumb. So got some practice highlights for you guys. So stay tuned for that. I am going to show you that. I should have shown you that first, but I will show you that in just a second. Some practice highlights courtesy of the Carolina Panthers. You know what? Let’s go ahead and do that now because you’ll see you’ll see Bryce Young and Andy Dawton in the background on this. So there’s Bryce Young, who was a full participant in practice today. Spoiler alert. And there you see Andy Dalton there in the background. So that’s why I wanted to show you that. Let me see if I can’t rewind that just a little bit. Yep. So there you see Bryce Young and then there you see Andy Dalton in the background. No helmet, just standing, just watching. Hurt his right thumb. We’ll talk more about that in just a second here. See Mike White and then you see Henden Hooker taking some snaps. We got a lot of practice highlights today, but Chandler Zala as well. We’re going to talk about his injury status. As a matter of fact, I’m just going to go ahead and read the injury status as we’re watching some of these highlights here and then I also show you to you guys on the screen. So, to finish out that injury report outside of Andy Dalton, you have Jimmy Horn Jr. and Damon Lewis, which were on the report previously, got hurt, banged up a little bit this past Sunday. They’re good to go. They were full participants. You had Cade Mazize dealing with the ankle knee. He did not practice. Taylor Molton dealing with the knee. He did not practice. You got Nick Scott and Princely Um Ellen who did not practice as well. Princely dealing with the ankle. Nick Scott dealing with a groin. You also had Trevan Wallace did not practice dealing with a shoulder injury. Again, Trevan Wallace did not practice dealing with a shoulder injury. And then, if you’ve been able to see here in some of these highlights, you got Chandler Zavala, who his 21-day window just opened back up. Coach said it’s a little aggressive to try to get him out there so quickly. You typically don’t want to do that during your first week of having a guy return to practice, but you got Micah Parsons on the other side, a very, very good edge rusher, and you got a depleted line. You don’t know what the status all these guys are going to look like. So, uh, we will wait and see what ultimately happens with that. But from all those guys that we were just talking about there, you got again Brady Christen absolutely will not play this Sunday. You got um Nick Scott that he’s not sure of and feels more like doubtful are going to be Cade Mazize and Princely Um Ellen. So lots and lots of injuries that still are lingering from this past Sunday. So, the Andy Dalton injury was the one that was a surprise to me. Didn’t know about, hadn’t heard anything about it. Coach said he did it very, very early in the game. Would expect that it did affect his throwing motion. But it is what it is. That game’s happened. It’s out the way. But hey, give give Andy some credit for toughness. But to me, Sunday wasn’t about his thumb hurting. Sunday was still about his decision making. his decision making was more so the problem where it wasn’t like oh he’s throwing this interception oh he’s running getting away he’s three no it was his decision making losing two of those turnovers two fumbles so um and then Bryce Young looked good going to call Bryce Young dayto day but he took all the reps with the ones he was a full participant in practice I don’t see any way that Bryce Young does not practice I’m sorry does I continue to practice and then ultimately end up playing this Sunday versus the Green Bay Packers. But I am definitely interested in seeing how the rest of these guys that have been dealing with some injuries pan out. Good to see Jimmy Horn Jr., good to see uh Damen Lewis both continue to be full participants in practice. And you know, our backup quarterback situation, we don’t know what it’s going to look like, right? Will it be Henden? Will it be Mike? Will it be Andy? And so there’s a lot of questions, but I’m sure these guys are going to figure it out. And as it gets figured out, we’ll continue to report that back to you guys. Hey, thanks everybody for tuning in. Thank you. Yes, the glasses are back on. As you see, when I look up like this, there’s a there’s a reflection in the glasses. We’re going to fix that. We’re going to have to upgrade the glasses. Get some that do not reflect as much as they currently do. That is again all the news for today. We’ll be back at the stadium tomorrow. owe you guys a makeup for not being at the stadium today. But I’ll get back there. I’ll get into the locker room, get some questions asked for you guys to get some answers. But hey, as always, if you have any questions about things that I haven’t discussed, man of the people gets this title by working for you guys. So, please let me know if there’s something that you want me to ask a player or coach so I can try to get that done for you. Otherwise, enjoy your Wednesday night. I’ll see you guys tomorrow. Chris Jenkins reporting for Charlotte Vibe.

After missing his first game of the 2025 season, Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young returns to practice as a full participant. However, there are still quite a few players nursing injuries form this past weekend game.
