"Knicks fans seem to be panicking about the start to the season but most critical are indicators of long-term success, not short-term. Brunson had an EXCELLENT passing game, showing a passing will + skill combo we haven't always seen from him. Very positive sign for" per @HotHandTheory on Twitter

The defense is what I’m worried about.
Yeah but how many turn overs did he have in the clutch at the end of the last game when we brought it back close. i wouldn’t really call thag indicator of success lol
A fast start would’ve been a surprise. New system, some early injuries, Brown tinkering with lineups, playing a large rotation.
If we’re 25 games in and this team is 9-16, then you can begin to panic.
At 2-3? People need to calm down.
Most importantly, the bigger lineups with a legitimate defensive anchor gives us our best results on both ends of the floor. We’re a light switch flip away from dominance.
Again we are fine, but we can’t always rely on one guy no matter how amazing he is.
The issue for me is the mental gymnastics you have to do to convince yourself we can win with KAT on the defensive end.
