Are the 76ers Legit? 🤔

All right, we got a simple question today. Are the 76ers legit? Let’s talk about it. Last night, the Sixers beat my Wizards in overtime to go to 4-0 on the season. Don’t ask me if the Wizards were up in this game. Don’t worry about it. So, yeah, all of a sudden, the Sixers, who everyone kind of rode off this year, are undefeated. And Tyrese Maxi has been unbelievable. Like, he might be the one week into the season MVP. And obviously, I could go on and on about VJ Edgecomb and Kelly Ubé and some of the other guys who have stepped up for them. Shout out to Adm Bona, too. But I’m actually going the other way because I’m sorry Philly fans, I’m just not buying it. Starting with this guy, Joel Embeds is still a really good offensive player. Defensively, he was horrible last night and I still just don’t want to be in the business of betting on this team’s health. And even when McCain comes back, I have some issues with playing three smaller guards together. Oh yeah, and then they’re also first in the NBA in three-point shooting after being fourth to last as a team last year. Look, obviously the Sixers have talent. That’s never been the question with this team. And I think with the emergence of Edgecomb, they’re definitely now in the playoff hunt.

  1. Imagine telling Sixers fans in 2024, they’d be undefeated with the 2023 MVP being horrible and their 60M guy being injured and the 2025 ROTY out

  5. If Joel Embiid didn’t have chronic knees, this team would be insane, but the Sixers are pretty much an infirmary so they can’t be trusted😂😂😂

  7. I had been so high on sixers like if embid healthy with Maxey and support they can easily be a top 6 team in the conference or even the best

  10. Shoutout to CJ McCollum for taking 2 dumb shots in crunch time felt like we should’ve won but CJ kept going into the paint like a dummy 😔✌️

    It’s a long shot to have them winning a Championship however the have been drafting well the last couple of years. I have PG and Joelle get jealous, find fire 🔥 and do something about.

  22. Simple solution trade embid after season meaybe Milwaukee and myles Turner, gary trent + some picks and second what they need to do trade Paul George maybe to nets for some 3 young players and picks

    magic and Celtics are the only legit contenders they beat (barely beating Celtics)… too early to say anything. let them play Cavs, knicks, thunder, nuggets to decide anything

  31. If they run everything threw maXey I think they will be ok . Let Embiid work his way back instead of relying on him. VG & Maxey will carry and hopefully Paul George doesn’t fuck everything up like he usually does

  35. I'm not thinking the team is a legit contender yet, but the reason why the team has "burt us" in the past is because it required a healthy Embiid to be remotely competitive. I don't think that is the case anymore with how the guards have been playing.
