Dallas Cowboys TRYING TO TRADE Mazi Smith & Jalen Tolbert?! + Cardinals SHOCKING MOVE Ahead of MNF!

Now look y’all, I am in fact taking my wife and my daughter to the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals matchup. And the Cowboys just got some potentially good news. If the defense can at all resemble a real NFL defense, it should be good news. But but with our defense, I don’t know. It could go either way. All I say is Cowboys. Y’all ass better not embarrass me in front of company. And we got more news on some Cowboys trade updates, including some players from our team that they’re willing to trade away. Let’s get right into it as the Cowboys take on the Arizona Cardinals tomorrow on Monday night on Monday Night Football. And the trade deadline is literally just a couple days away now. [Music] Man, shut your up. All right, first things first. We go ahead and talk about the the matchup here. The Cowboys just potentially got a huge advantage against the Arizona Cardinals, but only if the Cowboys defense can really perform like an NFL defense. And honestly, this may not be all that much of an advantage because to me, Jacobe Brousett is the exact type of quarterback that can absolutely shred apart what this Cowboys defense has struggled with the most. And that’s just their coverage and zone and being able to occupy the right area on the field and not allowing quarterbacks to kind of control where they are on the field and different stuff like that. So, Jacobe Brassette to me, I think he’s a more accurate passer than a Kyler Murray. Now obviously Kyler Murray is is a better down the field thrower in my opinion. I think Kyler Murray is a better down the field thrower. So getting behind our safeties, getting behind our DBs, I think Kyler will be able to take advantage of that a little bit more. But Jacobe Brassette can still make those throws and I think that he is actually better at processing defenses better than Kyler Murray and kind of taking what the defense is giving him. And to me, Kyler Murray kind of represents an issue that a lot of dual threat quarterbacks have, and that’s the fact that I think at times these dual threat quarterbacks, they rely too much on their legs. They’ve gotten to this level. They’ve gotten to the NFL and they’ve relied a lot on their legs. That’s what a lot of the college game is predicated off of. And that’s that’s honestly why I don’t like watching college football as much, man. Because it’s a lot of screen passes, short passes, or quarterbacks just taking off running. And I think that Kyler Murray still has a lot of that in him. And if the Cowboys can kind of contain him, I think they will be able to approach that game against Kyler Murray. Similar, not exactly the same, but similar to how they approach the game against someone like a Justin Fields, right? Kind of the similar mode. As long as you can kind of contain his ability to break the pocket and rush, then I think that you can deal with what he gives you in the passing game. Although Kyler Murray can’t get on the heater, though. I’m not saying he can’t pass that ball. Kyler Murray can throw that rock. I’m not saying that at all. But I think that Jacobe Brassette more consistently takes what the defense is giving you. And I think that right there is a recipe for disaster with this Cowboys defense because they give people a lot, man. They give QBs a lot to work with. And if Jacobe Brassette plays with his mind, his IQ first, which is what he’s going to do, then man, we may end up being in for a long day and I might be pissed off in them stands, bro. I ain’t gonna lie to y’all. But Jacobe Brassette, he will be starting against the Cowboys on Monday instead of Kyler Murray. They did say that Kyler might be available for some packages. I don’t know. Arizona may very well be working on a trade or something. I I really don’t know. But I don’t know how I feel about this, y’all. I don’t think that this is news that Cowboys fans should exactly be ecstatic about. I don’t think this is news that Cowboys fans should be any more confident going into this game with. And as it pertains to any game previews or anything like that, y’all, I just I just hope and pray that our defense can play like a real defense. Like, it’s it’s honestly useless to do all these game previews and these deep dive breakdowns when your defense is is getting bent over like a $2 That’s what’s happening right now. Our defense is getting bent over the table right now, every Sunday. And and they getting bent over in creative ways. They getting bent over the kitchen counter. They getting bent over the the dining room table. They getting bent over the fireplace. They getting bent over the pool. I mean, they getting bent over all over the place, y’all. So, I don’t care about trying to sit here and break down these games and sound super duper smart. If the defense plays average, the Cowboys should win this game. That’s that’s just what it is. If the defense plays average, the Cowboys should be able to win this games. The Cowboys should be able to take advantage of the fact that the Arizona Cardinals are a team that’s kind of stuck in no man’s land. and they they really aren’t in a position to compete and they aren’t necessarily terrible enough to where they should be like a bottom of the draft type of team, right? So Arizona’s kind of just stuck in the middle right there. And the Cowboys to me are a better overall team as long as the defense can show up and play an actual football game. So we will see what the Jacobe Brassette news brings for the Cowboys on Monday. But let’s go ahead and get into the trade stuff because I know right now everybody just want to talk about trade stuff. I want to talk about the trade stuff because there’s a lot of interesting stuff going on with the trade stuff. The first new note from today is the Dallas Cowboys are willing to trade wide receiver Jaylen Tolbert as a quote sweetener to help the defense and they would be just fine with trading defensive tackle Mazy Smith, too. Now, keep in mind, ain’t no telling where this information is actually coming from, y’all. Ain’t no telling if this is information that our reporters just made up because we know now that our reporters sometimes just make up stuff to talk about um or if this is legitimate information. So take everything with a grain of salt, especially when we’re just relaying reports from people and I’m just trying to disseminate information to you all. Everything with a grain of salt, y’all. But if they are in fact willing to trade Jaylen Tobert as a quote sweetener to help the defense, that means to me that they are big game hunting. If they need a sweetener, that means that they are going for something that requires a sweetener, they require something other than maybe just a draft pick, maybe just the day two draft pick or something. If they need a sweetener, that means that they are going for a player that should be able to come in day one and help this team. Whether that is someone like a Jeffrey Simmons, I kind of floated this trade, but honestly, as soon as I tweeted it, I was like, I actually have an even better idea. Maybe it’s a first round pick, Jaylen Tolbert, and maybe a a fifth or sixth or something like that for a Jeffrey Simmons. Or maybe you can trade a second or a third round pick along with a Jaylen Tolbert or Toandre Sweat from the Tennessee Titans as those two guys have been getting a ton of attention as it pertains to the NFL trade deadlines or pertains I don’t know what pertains mean as pertains to the NFL trade deadline. y’all. Um I think that either one of those deals will kind of be something that the Titans would they would have to take a look at because Jaylen Tobert is somebody that we know can put up 700 800 yards in an NFL season, especially if given the proper target share. And the Titans have a brand new fresh quarterback they just drafted this season at number one overall with absolutely no targets for him to throw to. Jaylen Tobert would give him another target. He’s familiar with with Tony Pard. So, there’ll be a little bit of continuity there on the offensive side for the Tennessee Titans. I think that that is literally a trade that could work for both sides. Devandre Sweat, while he has shown some productivity, he hasn’t been as productive as the Titans would have liked him to be. So, the Cowboys would be getting the Titans a productive player at a position of need. And the and the Titans would be giving the Cowboys a a high potential player who’s had flashes of productivity at a position of need. And I think that right there would be a hell of a trade for the Cowboys. You essentially kind of get thinner at a position that you’re very, very deep at at wide receiver. And you add a very talented young player that not only will be for this season, but for the foreseeable future, I think Sweat would be a nice building block type of piece for that Dallas Cowboys defense. So that would be a trade that if I was the Cowboys, I would see if the Titans would would snip around that, offer them a second or a third round pick along with Jaylen Tobert versus Andre Sweat. That may go, y’all. I ain’t gonna lie. That trade may go right there. Um, outside of that, the Cowboys, according to Fish Sports, have called the Bengals, the Dolphins, um, the Raiders apparently for someone like a Malcolm Coun or a Michael Coun. I don’t even know the dude name. So, that should let you know what type of player he is. I don’t know his first name. So, yeah. Um, and I said this on my last one when we were talking about these trades with these pass rushers. Bro, if you’re not going out and getting somebody that is 100% without a doubt better than Sam and Dant and Dante Fowler and Donovan Ezaraku and and Javon Klein, if you’re not going out and getting somebody that’s 100% better than those guys are going to take one of those guys off the field, then then you wasting your time to me with the pass. You got to go out and get a difference maker. Otherwise, I would rather see you address different positions. Go get Minka Fitzpatrick from the Dolphins. go get um a linebacker, Demario Davis or somebody like that from the Saints or a Logan Wilson from the Bengals and those are essentially the type of guys that they’re calling around about. Um but I think the biggest update as pertains to the Cowboys and and different moves that they could make is the fact that they are willing to trade Mazy Smith. So Mazy Smith’s name has come up. I think Dallas is ready to move off of him and they’re trying to essentially get whatever they can for him. Whether that be throwing him into another trade so they don’t have to get rid of a pick or just outright trading him away so they can get a pick, use that pick in another trade, who knows? But Mazy Smith appears on his way out of Dallas. Um, and Jaylen Tolbert could possibly be following suit. Very, very interesting news updates right there for the Dallas Cowboys fans out there. Man, I’m excited about it. I ain’t gonna lie to y’all. I I really want to see what the next two days hold for Cowboys fans because there should be some movement, y’all. There should be some movement. Either way, appreciate you guys tuning in. Till next time. How them cowboy calling me texting meaging am I still? Y’all use the check on me. Listen listen. I’m still boys. Hey, I’m still them boys.

  1. With our lack of hard hitters on Defense, (Liafau hits hard) and although his coverage is not his strength, are we undervaluing Donovan Wilson's presence in the D? I been thinking how the team made him Captain, and he has been a hard hitting playmaker in the past. Just thoughts.

  2. Processing defenses?! Ha! Who are we kidding against our D: hike the ball, throw the ball catch the ball oh and the option is hike the ball pitch the ball, run the ball down the sideline

  3. Logan wilson sucks please look at his last two years of stats and i said this before he was benched on a bad bengals defense please no logan wilson just to have two bad wilsons on defense

  4. The Cowboys defense has no advantage against anyone. Watching Bo Nix and the Broncos look like a high school offense against the Texans. The same offense that hung 40 on the Cowboys sorry ass defense. I've never seen a defense so bad!

  5. Only thing with Tolbert is, his contract expiring so idk why the Titans would want him when the season is already lost when he’ll be a FA anyways. Honestly once you put Tolbert and Mazi name out there you gotta trade em lol, can’t bring em back now LOL

  6. You know what frustrates me. Trading players away. Cause i know damn well later in the season we are gonna be short on WR. And oh we traded tolbert and are now paying more for a substitute. Same with mozzi. Why do we keep doing this too ourselves.

  7. The NFL is my favorite league by a mile. Trade deadline (and draft) are two things I would never care about, in every other sport. Here I am eagerly anticiapting the trade deadline…. c'mon Cowboys make a move!!!
