Honestly I’m not even mad we lost but how we did is inexcusable. Offense just looked out of sync and the O line just didn’t give Mahomes enough time to do something but Bills offense just walked up and down the field lol, trade deadline is up in 48 hours. Gonna be a bit hard but Veach need to trade for a Edge, D Tackle, RB cause boy oh boy..

Game was there for the taking. Bad playcalling early on, Mahomes over thinking things, and Chris Jones being completely absent amongst many others really didn’t help us today

Detroit is a better team and we dog walked them for 4 quarters. Everything about this game was fucking stupid, starting with the coaching.

Who knew letting Mahomes get hit every fucking play lowers your chance of winning?
My favorite chiefs fan is the one who goes to the NFL sub after this loss to get cheap upvotes by saying “we are in serious danger of missing the playoffs”.
Not going for it on that 4th and goal was a mistake almost as bad as the play calling for the first 3 downs
Every game is a playoff game now. The way the rest of the AFC is playing, we essentially need to win out. It doesn’t help we’ve surrendered head to head tie breaks to 3 of the teams ahead of us either.
Looking at the broncos schedule they are going to win at least 4 more games giving them 11 wins. Where we are at now that would mean we need 6 more wins to pull even (and hope for tie breakers) or 7 to hopefully pull ahead. All the hope in the world doesnt matter when math is involved. Realistically we are fighting for a wild card and hoping other teams fade.
They need to make 2-3 trades by Tuesday
The Simmons talk is very interesting after this game. It was a matter of time before we saw a game like this where the OLine sucked, Moore looked pedestrian and the Offense struggled. 2-3 weeks ago fans were demanding patience. No matter how you feel about it all I think it’s fair to wonder about him and if/when he might be back
I will admit. My normal rage has certainly been cooled having seen this team win multiple Super Bowls to give them the benefit of the doubt. But that? That was horrific football from the first whistle. The trenches are shallow; Josh Simmons, bless his heart, needs to return to the team, the run game was anemic. Mahomes was chucking prayers because the Offensive Line just decided to not play football.
Pat and the coaches need to rip this team a new starfish over the bye week, because we are currently in uncharted territory half way through the season. We can afford maybe 1 loss for the rest of the season unless the Football God’s give us some good fortune.
That Jaguars loss is going to haunt us come Week 18 if we get this ship righted.
It will make me physically ill if this season comes down to KC losing to the FKN JAGUARS!! as to why they dont make the playoffs
