So embarrassing to hear that take from Caleb. Clown our team all you want for such a stupid remark.
Man, why did Caleb have to hang that low hanging fruit? Lmao
If only there was multiple team tournament to decide who’s the best team in MLB. Oh well, maybe one year.
I went from feeling sympathetic for the Jays to the Jays fans are saying some absolute crazy stuff online and perhaps feeling emboldened by commentary akin to the one Hernández is referencing
To think that, before this, what I best knew Caleb Joseph for was being a backup catcher across a full season, having some 140 ABs, and 0 RBIs in that season.
Bro is mining for salt in the Ring of Fire
Are we live???
There are *multiple* moments you can point to as the Jays having choked the Series. The idea that they’re somehow “the better team” despite that is ludicrous.
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Really feel bad for the Jay’s because that idiot really just opened a can of worms of clowning and non of the players deserve it.
Caleb Johnson is such a fucking clown. Take the victory lap, Kiké
Eh it’s sports, we would have been saying “Dodgers in 5”, and “we got lucky” to troll Snell if we won.
Why would you care what some guy said when his heart is broken?
Take your win, live your life.
If Pages hadn’t come flying in from Center the hot take today would be that Kike Hernandez cost the Dodgers the series by playing too shallow and then choosing a wild route to a warning tracker.
I get what Caleb is saying. The Jays were better in almost every statistical category, except the only one that determines the result at the end of the day. It FEELS like the Jays were better, and beat themselves at the end. That’s what makes this suck the most.
Give me a four game sweep and yeah, whatever, we sucked – but the way it ended, it’s just a really sour taste for most Jays fans. Ah well.
Jays fan here.. Dodgers are the better team because they won haha. I get what Caleb J meant tho.. and I think many LA fans can see that as well.
Nonetheless, congrats LA. What a fucking series!! Baseball is hard, baseball is fun, baseball fucking sucks, I wish the Jay’s won 😂⚾️ 🧢
You know what? Good. What a stupid comment by our commentator Lmaoo
I think the Blue Jays were the better team statistically. It was just the obvious decisive moments that were their undoing. Overall, the Dodgers are better on paper. I don’t think that’s a very controversial opinion.
This better team stuff is embarrassing. If we were better we’d be planning our parade. Hitting with RISP is an important part of being better
Stop it. I’m already dead.
It is what it is and it ain’t what it ain’t. Congrats LA.
caleb with the layup for that self burn. Wtf was that supposed to do? make jays fans feel better?
Emotions were running high lol
All the better team had to do was not lose two games in a row in front of their home crowd
I think most are probably saying jays were a better team but Yamamoto is him.
I mean, the Blue Jays get eliminated by Seattle if one of George Springer’s swings is a bit off. That’s just sports. So many championships are ultimately decided by one play.
The actual reality is that playoff are a crapshoot. Bad teams win series over good teams all the time in the regular season, is it crazy it can happen in the postseason too sometimes? Especially when they are closely matched?
Both of them are valid and right in what they’re saying. Good for baseball imo
Some of these comments are very interesting and would be very different if the Dodgers lost lol. Funny to see some people acting like they’re humble.
A shame Joseph went there. The Blue Jays were awesome this season. They spent they money on Vlad and it’s a good investment.
Showed their human side supporting Vesia and his family in their awful time right now.
I mean wouldn’t it feel better if you lose to a better team than choke up on a worse team

So not deserved ugh
/s. GG LA

He lived after being trucked by Pages??? Shoot, I thought he died in Toronto…
How many beers were consumed on this flight?
The Jays really did outplay the Dodgers. They hit better, pitched better and played great defense. They had a plan to wear down the Dodger starters and get to the pen, which they did with one exception. The difference in the series was the Dodgers got an all time great performance from Yamamoto. He got 3 of the 4 Dodger wins. I think the only other Dodger win was that crazy 18 inning game.
Really didn’t mind Jays fans until the salty ones started coming out of the woodwork after the Dodgers won. I get that it sucks but it’s such a weird take to think that the better team didn’t win in a literal full 7 game series.
When the Dodgers took the series 2-1, no one felt that the Jays were the better team. Both teams emptied the clip and the Dodgers came out on top.
Then the Dodgers lost the next 2 on abysmal offense. And the Dodgers, behind Yamamoto, won the next one. Sure the ending made it look close but in reality it was just a flip of the last 2 games where one team couldn’t score.
Game 7, if anything, just emphasized these teams are evenly matched. I felt the same way watching the Jays vs Mariners, except in the end, one team got it done and the other didn’t.

A better team don’t lose 4 out of 7
