Again, thank you to this community for helping us hit over 43,000 subscribers. You guys are truly the best. Jets are in there by week. The trade deadline is 6 days from now. And there’s a lot of rumors, a lot of reports on what the Jets approach could be. We will break that down and much more in today’s show when we say hello to our guest this morning. He was in Cincinnati to watch the Jets first win of the entire year. Nick Shine joins us. Nick, have you recovered from that what 10, 11 hour drive back? I’m sure it feels a lot better to deal after a win than a devastating jet loss that we’ve seen so many times. There was less tension on the way back. That’s for sure, Jake. Less tension on the way back. Uh, Saturday was smooth sailing. We left at like 5:50 in the morning. We stopped at Ohio State, saw that stadium and uh we were at the hotel by about 2:45 and then I drove Sunday night after the game after we spoke on your show and I got up to like Columbus and Nick was falling asleep. He reclined the seat and I’m like I’m getting a little drowsy. We stopped in Columbus right in the city there and stayed because after Columbus it’s just emptiness for a very long time. So, I was like, you know what? I don’t want to take the chance and and pick some awful dingy, you know, hotel motel off the road. So, and then yesterday, you know, with Monday, there’s traffic, but it took longer to get home than to get there. But, uh, well worth it. Great trip. Great environment. I can’t say that enough about Cincinnati. Look at you. Look at those claps. Everyone’s going crazy. By the way, I actually know the girl there. I met her in Dallas a couple years ago when we did a road trip there. That her name is Jess. She’s a diehard Jet fan. So that’s Jess who I didn’t even realize was her and that’s you behind Jess there celebrating that Jet W with CBS capturing it on the broadcast. Love it. I have that effect on women Jake that they’re crying near me all the time. I apologize to the ladies. Uh became friends with Jess after the fact. Like she I was she had the front row seats. I was in the fourth row and when we got the final pass break up uh the two Cincinnati fans cleared out and then I went right down to the front row to uh to celebrate and I was sitting they had six guys there who were really really cool. They had clown wigs on and the one guy was holding a sign that says Woody’s Clown Show. So we were having a great time with them. They were highly intoxicated and uh having a blast and try and doing Jets chance down the end. Uh it was fun. Everyone loved us until we got the lead and then they didn’t like us anymore. Yeah. They they feel bad for us. Ah, you guys are Jet fans. And then when the Jets actually started playing some football and winning the game, uh it ain’t so fun when the rabbit has the gun. Yeah. Well, the stickick that I was doing just to keep the peace. Great people. Like I’ve said this multiple times, if you ever have a chance to go next time the Jets are there, great environment, great people, friendly, like you know what I mean? It’s not going to New England or Buffalo, you know, it’s it was very very welcoming environment for visiting fan from the tailgate inside where at the tailgate I met Icky Woods and Bal Powell uh tailgate gym was doing an event down by the water that uh Clauddio from Gotham City crew was a part of. So he messaged me to come join that and uh just a great friendly environment man. I can’t stress that enough. The experience as a visiting football fan was tremendous and uh I would definitely do it again. It it was great. Nice to see a win. There’s certainly no doubt about that. Even if it’s Oh, and that Yeah, even if it’s, you know, the smallest of consolation prizes with everything going on with Nick Mangled, it certainly was nice for, you know, the Jet fan and everyone associated with the Jets and any of Nick’s family or teammates to at least see a win and, you know, the Jets winning that game in the state of Ohio about 40 minutes from where Nick Mangled grew up. Uh, that is awesome. Speaking of Nick Mangled, today’s giveaway, let’s continue to pay homage to the great Jet. A Nick Mangled jersey up for grabs. Big shout out to Matt L who won the Walcad Frasier jersey in our weekly raffle series during yesterday’s show. He’s the first to get today. He is in for five. Hit it, AG. [Applause] Hell yeah. Love that. Love that. Love that. We got a lot to talk about. Let’s get to some sound now from ESPN Jets reporter Rich Seidi. This was on his flight deck podcast. Rich going through, what he has heard, the values of some of these players that could be dealt and whether or not he actually thinks the Jets will deal any of these players. Again, here’s Samini on the state of the Jets with the trade deadline now under a week away. I would put the top of that list, Michael Carter II. It appears as if he has lost his job in the nickel to Jarvis Brownley Jr. who has won the affection of the coaching staff with his physical style of play. NC2 was really a favorite of the previous regime, got a big contract extension and now appears to be the odd man out. Now he does have a lot of money left on his deal. He’s got two years after this year uh a total of 20.3 million left on his contract. No team really wants to take on that much money. Uh but only 2.3 million of it is guaranteed. So perhaps a contending team that needs an extra DB would be willing to give up something late, you know, like a seventh round pick for Carter. A guy I think uh keep an eye on Will McDonald. Now he is signed for next year, but they have to make an decision on his fifthyear option in May. that would guarantee his 2027 salary at a probably about 14 or $15 million. Do you want to make that much of a commitment? McDonald not having a great year. Now, he did have a big sack on Sunday, but really had gone what, five or six games without a sack. I don’t think he’s the kind of player who fits in Aaron Glenn’s scheme. He’s more of a one-dimensional pass rusher, not really a two-way player. So, I I know there’s at least one team in the NFC that is interested in uh in Will McDonald. So, keep an eye on that one. I think, you know, he could bring back a three or a four. Quincy Williams is in the last year of his contract. I don’t think the Jets are going to sign him to an extension. Uh, you know, they put a lot of money in their offball linebacker, Jamian Sherwood, who by the way got benched for the first quarter. Uh, so I could see possibly Quincy Williams getting traded. Maybe they try to get something for him. It would be a late pick, probably a sixthrounder. Uh, Breeze Hall, he’s the big name coming off maybe the best game of his career. I don’t think the Jets are going to trade him. I would put it at maybe 30 to 40%. Um, yeah, I mean, his value is higher now with a with a game like that. Uh, but do you really want to give away arguably your best player or or one of your best players? Uh, that really sends a message to the locker room that you’re kind of cashing out on the season. I I don’t think they’d get uh the value they’re looking for with Bree Hall. I think possibly a four. I mean, if you got a three for him, then I would do it. So, Bree Hall is a very interesting one. I’m sure there are contending teams that would love to add him. I’m not so sure the Jets will sign him in March. Now, Alan Lazard, there are teams that are desperate for wide receiver. Um, he really is a backup type receiver at this stage of his career. Uh, but I could see the Jets getting rid of him and just giving a chance to get one of the younger guys. You know, Garrett Wilson will be back in the next game against the Browns. A lot of speculation about Quinnon Williams. I think there’s only about a 5 to 10% chance that the Jets trade Quinnon Williams. He’s got two years left on his contract and um you know the Jets are asking for a lot. You know, I would think they’d want a high two or a low one. They’re not going to get that for Quinnon Williams. Now, I know Jet fans are very high on him, but look at it from a a global perspective. He’s a defensive tackle who right now is not getting sacks. You know, he’s you know, he’s got what, one sack this year. We know he can be a double digit sack guy. He’s done it in the past, but um I’m not saying he’s on the downside of his career, but teams don’t usually give away premium assets for defensive linemen that don’t sack the quarterback. So, I think the Jets will hold on to Quinnon Williams. I do think his contract will become an issue in the off season. He’s got only 5 million in guarantees next year. He’s got a very high cap number, so I suspect he will approach the Jets at some point and ask to renegotiate to get more guaranteed money. And at that point, the Jets will have to make a decision. Uh do we do we trade this guy and get, you know, maybe a second round pick for him or do we uh hold on, invest more money in him? That’ll be a decision, but I think it’ll be more appropriate in the off season. Don’t see it happening right now. Okay. So, a lot to get into after Sime’s report there. Nick Shine channeling his inner Aaron Rogers by going on a darkness retreat. Nick, your internet is as bad as the Jets the first, I don’t know, maybe six, seven weeks of the year. Let’s see if we can get uh Nick back connected. But let me run through some of what Rich said there and give you just my initial thoughts on that. Right. I think Michael Carter, if I had to pick one player that I’m the most confident would be moved, it would be him because teams are always looking for depth players in their secondary. And Michael Carter seems like a guy that has no chance to be on the team next year, right? Brownley has taken his job. He’s been great. He’s a bigger corner. He fits the physicality that they want at that position that Glenn’s talked about. You’re not going to keep him. You’re going to cut him. And only $2 million is the cap hit if you move on from him is nothing for teams. So, I don’t think Michael Carter will be here by the time the Jets play another football game. I’d be very surprised. The other name to watch is Quincy Williams, right? But if you move Quincy, the dynamics of what that means for Quinn and Williams, I think is worth following. That said, business is business. If you could get a fifth for Quincy, I think the Jets would do it. Those are the two names that I think are the most likely to be dealt. I guess we can include Alen Lazard. You’re not going to get anything for him. You might be able to get like a a seventh for a sixth round, you know, pick swap type of thing, you know. you might be able to get same type of deal for Tony Adams. Although I don’t know how many people saw it, but Tony Adams is now going to probably be a starter on this team because Andre Cisco has a pectoral tear that needs surgery. So ESPN’s reporting that and that means that it’s likely we don’t see Andre Cisco again this year. So I don’t even know if they’ll trade Tony Adams now. So, I thought maybe he’d be someone they could move to, but now not after the Cisco injury. They just don’t have bodies to play the safety spot. The other thing that we should talk about is Bree Hall. I don’t think the Jets trade him. I agree with Rich Seiti. If you’re only going to be able to get a fourth round pick for Breece, what’s the point? I would be talking to Bree this week about a possible extension. What does he want? Does he want to be here? If he if he says there’s no way I’ll be here, well, then you got to seriously consider trading him, even if it’s four or fourth. But if he’s open to being here and he’s bought in to what the Jets are trying to do, you have the franchise tag that you could use in a worst case scenario, you can’t get something done or you try and give him a contract around three years and you give him some guaranteed security for the first two. So you say, “Hey, you know, we could just franchise you or we could give you some security over two years. You play a position that has a high injury rate. Are you interested?” I’d keep Grace Hall. He’s young. He’s really good. He could help a young quarterback next year. I would be trying to keep Reese Hall if I can. Do I think the Jets are going to trade him? No. But if a team does offer you a third, would I do it? I’d have to strongly think about that. I got to have the conversation with Brace on where his head is at. Does he want to be here or not? But a fourth or worse for Brace, no thank you. A fifth, no chance. Non-starter for me. Now, Will McDonald, Rich noted, as a player that is one to watch. It doesn’t feel like McDonald’s a great fit for this defense. That said, is Steve Bols definitely here next year? Are they definitely running like whatever version of this defense is? I’m not so sure. A second round pick for Will McDonald, I would want because if he goes to a good team and he could situationally just rush the quarterback, he’s really good. The game scripts have not allowed Will McDonald, I think, to be maximized this year. That said, he also, you know, even though this head coach was puffing his chest about his coaching, man, and talking about what Will McDonald was going to do, Sunday’s game against the Bengals was the first time he’s had a sack since week one. So, you know, I think Rich mentioned a third or a fourth. I wouldn’t do it for a fourth. A third, I still probably wouldn’t do it either. He is under contract for another year. Even if you don’t use the fifth year option on McDonald, he is under contract for another year. I’m not in any rush to trade him right now. So, if I’m only getting a third, I wouldn’t do it. If someone offers me a two though for Will McDonald, I might do that because he is a bit of a one-trick pony at this point, right? I mean, if I can get a second round pick, that to me is an opportunity to get a a wide receiver for my rookie quarterback next year. That’s an opportunity for me to have more ammunition in case I got to trade up if we love a quarterback and we’re sitting at number five and we got to get to number two to get in front of the Dolphins or the Saints to get the quarterback that we want, right? Like, try and put yourself in the shoes of Muji navigating the draft board. If you can get a two for Will McDonald and you don’t see a long-term future with him, that’s a valuable piece for a weapon for your young quarterback or for some ammunition to use in a trade-up. So, I would do it for a two. I wouldn’t do it for a three. No chance of doing it for a four. Obviously, Germaine Johnson’s not being traded, so Rich didn’t mention him. And Quinnon, I don’t think is being traded either. Team Captain, he’s someone that Aaron Glenn has a tight relationship with. If you see the video that Inside the NFL put out yesterday, you saw uh video of Quinnon and Aaron Glenn sharing a moment in the locker room where Glenn gave him like a bear hug. I don’t think the Jets are going to trade Quinn Williams, right? You already benched Jamime and Sherwood and he’s a captain. Now you’re going to trade away the longest tenure Jet, a team captain. I I don’t think so. I do think the contract situation is going to be a storyline in the offseason though. only $5 million guaranteed for Quinn. He’s gonna want more guaranteed money and then the Jets could lower his cap hit if they rework his deal. Do they want to commit to Quinn though? I still think they probably do. But let’s see how the rest of the year goes. Let’s see just is there real improvement or is there just so much losing still, right? This is the one outlier game like many of us fear. You know, they still finish with two or three wins and Quinnon’s like, “Look, I loved my time here, but you guys are going to be drafting a rookie quarterback. I want to go somewhere where I now get the opportunity to win in the last couple years of my prime. That could be a legit conversation they have in the offseason. I don’t think it’s anything that happens now. And I’m not trading Quinnon Williams now unless I’m getting at least the first. I don’t care if he doesn’t sack the quarterback. You know, if Quinnon goes to the right contending team, he’s going to be a beast. So, I need at least the first if I’m doing it now. A second does nothing for me right now. I will wait till the off seasonason and see if they could work something out with his contract or if they decide they want to move on, then I’ll get more teams that are seemingly involved in some sort of bidding war to drive up his price. I’m not doing it now. I think I could get more for Quinnon if that’s the approach they want to take in the offseason than doing it right now. Now, the last player that we should mention here, and we haven’t mentioned him is Tyrod Taylor. Any team’s going to call the Jets needing a backup quarterback. Is Brady Cook ready to come in and play? Do they value Tyrod enough? It feels kind of reverts back to what he was that all of a sudden, you know, you they feel like they can’t trade him. Another player to watch. I don’t think they trade him because you’re going to need him to win games. But Nick Faulk could be the reason why the Jets win some tight games late in the year. He’s been great this year. Any team need a kicker. We only give the Jets something for him. Something to just watch there, right? Two veterans on a team that’s going nowhere. Teams will make calls. I I don’t think the Jets would trade either one, but we’re throwing that out there. On that note, let’s bring Nick Shine back. Nick, I kind of ran through Simei’s report there. Of all the players that you think could be dealt, which one do you think is the most likely? Up until Cisco got hurt, I thought it was Carter. I was saying for days that Carter, but now for those of us that maybe wanted to see him switch to safety, there’s an opportunity and and a slot open, right? Good point. I would try that. Yeah, that’s a good point. I’d at least give Michael Carter a chance with Cisco going down. Yeah, I mean, you know, Brownley, that’s his job. That’s their guy. That’s our long-term Nickelback. He fits their identity and he’s making plays. So, it’s not a a battle for that position. That’s Brownley’s job. And I don’t I think Carter is just being used in the dime. But when you have Tony Adams and and you maybe have some holes in your coverage on the back end with teams who’ve been able to throw the ball downfield on us, I would definitely look at using him there. But if you can move him, you move him, right? Like if you can open up some of that money, you do it. And uh he would be the most likely. But I’m very curious to see if the Jets feel the same way that some of the fans do with maybe moving him to safety to get him on the field a little more. And be nice to see that it I’m petrified of if of if losing will in season just because it means Clemens who hasn’t been bad but he’s been better from interior than than from the outside and uh he was making some plays the other day which was a huge improvement from where he’s been his first three years in the league. You know he’s been in the back field. He I think he led the Jets in pressures the week before. So you know Clemens is contributing. He’s not a star. He’s not great, but he’s much improved. But I I I don’t want to see McGregor and uh and Clemens as our main guys out there. You know, if you do it in the offseason, okay, you can go get your your body, physicality, style of defensive end that we all think that they like, but I would be a little surprised if they moved Will in season. Uh but, you know, a three or a four, I I can wait to the off seasonason. you know, he’s he’s got the uh the fifth year option. You know, you got a team who might like his speed, you got a style with maybe a wide nine that he would fit in a little better. Uh but, you know, in terms of Breeze Hall, I think if Brilan Allen was here and and you have Allen and Davis, you’d be more likely, but I mean, you’re going to put Khalil Herbert as your two. So, I I I don’t see it. You know, this they they’re saying they want to win. You don’t make that move if you want to win, right? And what the deadline and and being the buy kind of stinks because you don’t get that momentum. You don’t get that second game before the trade deadline to really see if we can build upon it or if it was just a flash in the pan game against the Bengals. So, I think we’re going to be sellers. I just don’t know how big we sell and I I wouldn’t expect any huge return. If we do player and pick for a late pick swap, you know, something like that. Uh, I’m surprised that San Francisco isn’t on the lines with Quincy trying to replace Fred Warner. Uh, that that’s an easy one in my opinion, right, with uh with him going down and Salah being there and Quincy being an allp pro under him. But well, maybe they’re calling about Will McDonald because Richini mentioned in that report he knows of an NFC team that’s very interested in Will McDonald. That wouldn’t surprise me at all if maybe they’re not trying to replace Fred Warner. They’re trying to replace Nick Bosa as a pass rusher. And that’s Robert Salah saying, “Hey, maybe we can go get Will McDonald, who I know I can get the most out of. Put him next to Bryce Huff. We’re going to be ready to roll.” Yeah. Oh, the pain, Jake. Jets football, baby. It never stops. Hey, huge shout out to Rick. I believe this is Amsterdam Jet, but YouTube screws up everyone’s usernames now, so it gives us the at sign. Rick gifting 10 channel memberships. Come fly with me, Rick. 10 channel memberships have just been gifted. We’re giving away a Nick Mangled jersey at the end of the show. Let me announce the raffle prizes for this upcoming week. Uh a to be determined autographed Nick Mangled item. Could be a jersey, a football, or a helmet. I have bids out for all of them. So, we’re working on that. Signed Wayne Corvette football and a signed That’s right. Justin Fields jersey because everyone wants that now after he bowled out. Huge shout out to Ryan King. A monster super chat moments ago. Jake, thank you for all your hard work with the streaming on the Jets. Rest in peace number 74. May Nick fly high like a jet. Ryan, you’re the best, my friend. Really appreciate you supporting the channel like this. And well said about Nick Mangled. We’re all obviously reeling and thinking about his family and wishing everyone that new Nick all the best. A D S J Ryan in the raffle for 20 with this super chat here. This one is from Dan who says, “Jets have an extra hour to prepare on the by-week with daylight savings time ending.” That’s right. There’s no excuse for the Jets to not be ready to roll. They have the buy. They’re at home and an extra hour to prepare because of daylight savings time. An extra hour of great practice, baby. Let’s do it. Good point there. Aaron Glenn became the first Jet head coach to ever say we had a great week of practice and actually deliver a win. Can he back it up? Can we do two in a row? Winning streak, Jake? We had a great week of practice. We had a great week of practice. Oh yeah. Black Gypsy in the raffle for two with two weeks to plan. Hopefully we got a good scheme for Fields and a solid game plan to beat the Browns. Any goodwill they establish with this win, it immediately goes away if you don’t follow it up with a win at home against a two-6 Browns team where the Jets have the talent and the quarterback advantage going into the game. It’s probably the only game all year where you could say talent and quarterback advantage Jets. Now Cleveland’s got the better coaches, but there’s no reason for the Jets to not find a way to win this game at home. Yeah. And obviously their best player is Garrett coming off a monster week with sack five sacks. But I mean Olu and Meu, this is a great challenge for them, right? We’re going to see. Are you just doing well against poor pass rushes or can you really step up and accept this challenge of Miles Garrett? Can you allow You’re probably going to see some sprint outs with Fields again like we saw early in the game. Get him out of the pocket. Get him comfortable. Get him moving. Get him away from Garrett. And then hopefully the run game with Bree and Davis really start and mixing in Williams was a great play the other day too. I I I really haven’t had the chance yet to speak about how great I thought Angstran was. I mean a 500 yard day. Uh you knew we wanted to run the ball. He mixed it in well and you got to do that. You got to get the ball out quick. You got to run the ball. You got to get away from Garrett. So this is a great challenge for our offensive tackles and I’m really looking forward to that matchup. Comments, questions, super chats. They cut the line. Daz writes in, “Happy Wednesday. Quit my job.” So from tomorrow, doing my best. Gorman impression. RIP 74 10 and seven incoming. You quit your job. Why’d you quit Daz? What was wrong with your job? Excuse me. Gator add Daz to Mount Jobless. J O job. Job job. We know cheats fan has called in and he said he’s working somewhere. So, he claims to have a job, but we know how that goes. Bobby is Bobby, Gorman is Gorman, and Beast is Beast. So, we will see if Daz could get a job before any of those others. We got to put Daz on there. Take Chief Van out. He’s He should be dead to this community with some of the comments he made. But, put Daz on there. And that way, we can finally get somebody who gets on there and eventually gets a job and we can have a big ceremony to remove somebody from the mountain. Klay Hobbs writes in, “You have the perfect opportunity to turn over the roster, free up cap space, and acquire a ton of picks to go in loaded for the offseason, but of course, don’t trade anyone pathetic.” I mean, Clay, what what do you think you’re going to get for some of these players? Like, what? And if if we’re talking about guys that are in their walk year, I’ll entertain the conversation. When you talk about trading for a fourth, when you talk about trading Quinnon Williams for a second or third, no thank you. Like, I’m not tearing down this team. I think this team with better coaching should have more than one win right now. And I think this team already has $75 million in cap space going into the offseason. So I I think you only make a trade if it makes sense. And that’s why I don’t think a fire sale makes sense because the value just is not there. If you can get something for Lazard or Tony Adams or MC2, fine. But I think trading guys who were signed beyond this year when you might, if you want to go in that direction, get more from them in the offseason anyway, I don’t think it makes sense. So I don’t think it’s pathetic at all. I think the Jets to this point are are taking the right approach. You don’t just make a deal for the sake of making a deal. Exactly. That’s exactly what I was going to say. You don’t do it just to do it. You don’t do it and and get bent over in the deal. You you do it if it’s right and only if it’s right. If not, you keep the asset for now. You know, with guys like Carter whose job was taken is different. You know, Quinn’s job wasn’t taken. Greece’s Reese’s job was not taken. Carter’s job was taken. So, you might get a hit there and and other teams know his job was taken. So, you’re probably going to lose out on the deal with Carter, but you don’t trade other guys just to trade them to say, “Hey, we traded the guy.” Ladies and gentlemen, if you’re watching live right now, hit the like button. Now, let’s get to your calls to start it off and we’re going international. Jason in Jerusalem is first today. Hello, Jason. JK Nick, how you guys doing there? Um, I agree exactly what you guys are saying. Unless it’s a an amazing offer, Bree and Quinn stay on the team. Michael Carter, whatever you get for him and Alan Lazard, a bag of balls. Um, your thoughts on uh the comments that uh Jordan Travis made about Woody? I haven’t played it yet. I’m probably going to spend some time and address it uh during the second show, but none of it should be surprising. Every time Woody opens his mouth, you learn more about how just out of touch he is with his comments. I don’t think he goes out of his way to be an a-hole, but I think he’s just old and he just spouts off things and has no idea how to like actually have like conversations with other human beings. And it’s a major problem. Jerry Jones at this point, right? Like he just every time he gets the mic in front of him as a Jet fan, you cringe. Cowboys fans cringe when when Jerry speaks all the time. He tries to sound smart, but he’s just not capable of doing it. Yeah. At least he’s not our GM, though. That at least is the silver lining here. Yeah. And I don’t know if you just saw Mercedes Lewis just signed with the Broncos. Yeah, they signed him to the practice squad. Uh Jake, little trivia question for you. Only two players in NFL history have caught a pass over 40 years old. Can you name them? Mercedes could be the third. Um Jerry Rice. I know the answer to this one. Jerry Rice. Yes. And the other one’s tricky. I’m gonna say it’s a trick play and it’s like a quarterback who’s old. So, I’ll say Tom Brady. Correct. Is it? I got it right. Nice. Correct. He He was also the pick ahead of Nick Mangled. Rest in peace, Nick. Yeah, he was in he was in that draft. Uh, by the way, I I’ll play the comments because you referenced them. So, Jordan Travis does a podcast, a former Jet quarterback who had to retire because of injury. This is him talking about an apparent conversation that he had with Woody when he was with the Jets. Johnson did like with Justin Fields like be better, bro. Speaking about your players publicly like that, you want to talk about losing a locker room like no head coach can fix that. Well, I got to tell you, I mean that no disrespect, but there was things that were said to me, not obviously to that point because I never got on the field to play, but about my leg, like just slick comments that I don’t think he was I don’t know if he was trying to be slick about it or you know how some older people they just kind of say whatever comes to their mind and it kind of made me feel a certain type of way. I told you about a few of them. You ever going to get healthy? And I’m just like, damn. not not how like how you feel and never never that it was always like comments like that and that it kind of upset me but it kind of rolled over my head. It makes sense but I mean kudos to Justin Fields because I don’t know if you saw his press comments and you can see on his face he’s not even distraught bro he’s it’s really cool inspired me I freaking reposted it on my my Instagram now is his chance he’s getting attention God still has his hand on him the whole time. Amen. So I mean Woody being Woody I think it’s more to do with the Yeah. He just doesn’t know how to talk to people properly. Like then like like in my interactions with Woody Johnson like he’s just awkward. Very socially awkward. That was my experience talking with him for three four minutes at the Kleco Rivas Hall of Fame induction. Yeah. The other day Woody didn’t even come out pregame. Christopher Johnson came out for pregame. Woody wasn’t there by the way. Woody was not in Cincinnati. It was only Chris. Okay. think if the coach is basically coaching is to how to speak to the media. Do you think somebody should give this to Woody and just how to speak to his players? Who’s going to do that though? Hey, hey, Woody, you need to be better with your team. Yeah. Okay. You need to find another job. Go on the mountain, Bobby. Yeah. Get Christopher or somebody, you know, maybe somebody could open his eyes. It’s really up to Chris because Chris, if you’ve heard him speak, he’s well spoken. People have great things to say about him. Uh, it really would be on Chris to basically be like, “Woody, stop talking. Let me be the front-facing voice for the organization.” Yeah. Because when Woody was overseas, Christopher was praised by players time and time again for being caring and and endearing to them. So, we’ve never really heard that about Woody. Christopher was praised by Aaron Rogers. Rogers praised everyone but Woody when talking about the Jets, but he always went out of his way to praise Christopher Johnson. Good call, Jason. Appreciate it. Uh, comments, questions, super chats, they cut the line. Let’s see what we have here. Let’s get back to your calls. And up next is a man where you decide where he’s calling from. Could be the great indoors, could be the great outdoors. Nobody knows. We find out now. Yeah. Heat. [Music] Not this one, but that you would think that that a guy that went to a party school like Arizona and has been around New York cocktail parties all his life would know how to talk to people. It’s kind of weird. The problem is he’s a billionaire, so like no one ever tells them no, right? Maybe that maybe that’s it. Everything’s been given to him except decency. Yeah. Um so I’m all in if we can get a two for Will McDonald. Um although I think um Edge is going to be a greater need than wide receiver at that point considering that you know does that mean that Michael Clemens comes back if we if we were to trade Will McDonald? What does that mean for this fan base? Listen, I am not a Clemens guy, Kyle. You know this. Mhm. But his performance the last couple weeks is kind of eyebrow raising. It he’s it’s improved. He’s been getting pressures from interior. Uh he’s been hustling. He’s been playing hard. I am not a Clemens guy. I’m not saying he’s great, but from where he was, he’s he’s shown improvement this year. That’s one guy you could say they they’ve coached up and has gotten better under them. Right. But I mean, and Stevens, Stevens, everyone was saying how bad the contract was. He’s the number one rated quarterback since week four with PFF, right? And I think Clemens kind of fits Glenn’s mold a little bit better. I think he likes the bigger edges, right? Um, and I I think that if you get a two, you can probably go back into the draft and and and probably secure one there as well, assuming that the the first rounder is going to be a quarterback. Um, and then you know as far as some of these other trades go, like I was on Boy Green earlier and we were talking about Bree and I I don’t want to go full extension with Bree. I want to do something where you give him two years and maybe a void year. get him the guaranteed money that’s more than the franchise tag tag and play it kind of yeartoyear over about two years with him. Otherwise, if he’s not willing to do that, go out and get a fourth round pick at the deadline because this team’s not ready to win. I mean, let let’s be frank like we can get a running back. We I don’t need to be paying a running back when, you know, that the team is struggling for the next year or two. Um, I that’s that’s kind of just how I feel about running backs and I think how the league feels about running backs. They they look at them as funible, interchangeable parts. Um, the brace is a little unique though, like he he is this offense right now. He he is he’s very talented, but like we got to see it on a consistent basis. And I don’t know if it’s scheme or injury or whatever, but we haven’t really seen it. Uh uh to to merit a an extension that’s going to be, you know, in the in the Squan sphere. I don’t think it’s going to be that much though. Look what Look what James Cook got from the Bills. You wouldn’t do that for Breeze? No. No. I What if it’s a little less? I’d consider it. Uh if we’re we’re talking about a three-year deal in that scenario. Yeah, we’re probably two of it guaranteed. I do three for 33. That’s anything more than that I’m kind of going to be upset about with the running back who’s to this date has never had a thousand yard season, double digit touchdowns. You can’t pay him with the guys that have. You can’t pay him off of projection. Now, coincidence that we rode Breeze and it was the best offensive game that we’ve had this season. No, probably not. But it’s also important that we didn’t get down by three scores and have to go away from the run game. We kept it close enough where the run game was still a factor late in the game. Now, if we can do that week to week, you’re looking at a pretty remarkable season from Bree if if he keeps it up. I mean, he’s averaging five yards per carry. He is able to give you a lot as a receiver, too, when they actually give him a chance to do it. Like, I’m just not in such a rush to trade him. I could keep him on the franchise tag for one more year anyway. and do it again next year and worry about it. Or if we’re bad at the trade deadline next year and we use the tag on him once, trade him then so at least I get something. But I don’t want to make the mistake that the Jets made with Sam Darnold where he never had the right players around him to have a shot. And I think Breeze helps a young quarterback. Yeah. When you look at the way this offensive line is playing, too and and they’re getting better and they’re jelling. And when you look at Breeze, he’s on pace for 1234 and we’ve been screaming he’s not being utilized enough. So if this is the line of demarcation where Bree is now going to get those 20 touches a game, he had 18 carries, two catches, and you saw what he did. So if we could start doing this consistently and he holds up, then hell yeah, let’s get to the table, let’s talk, you’re not going anywhere. Yeah. And I don’t know what kind of deal is would be out there or what kind of market there is for linebacker. So I don’t I don’t know if there’s going to be anything for Quincy. Maybe you’re looking at a fifth or sixth round comp pick in in um you know 202 have multiple fours so maybe you can get one of them from them. Yeah, I mean maybe um and I’ll be very interested to see what we can extract for Michael Carter. uh or if we can get anything for for Lazard like if if you know Rogers is still u holding out hope to maybe bring him in for a pick swap or a seventh or something like that. Um but you know I feel like we need to fortify our draft picks because it’s not a team right now that feels like it’s in Glenn’s image. Um and and we need to to get there more so than we already are. I appreciate your time, guys. Ladies and gentlemen, Kyle Clifton checking in. All fair points. There’s no doubt about that. Uh, let’s keep rolling with your calls. Let’s say hello to Amsterdam Jet fan who sent in 10 memberships to the channel earlier. What’s up, Mr. Amsterdam? Hey, Jake. How you doing? What’s up, man? How are the people in Amsterdam reacting to the Jets getting their first win of the year? All of All of one of us. Yeah, we’re we’re jumping up and down. There actually probably are a few. I think in uh some of the chats I saw some Well, not so much in Amsterdam and other towns in uh in Holland. There’s there’s a couple I met a few in London last year. People that were from there that came up to me. I’m sure Yeah, I’m sure you did. Uh yeah, and I was in at the London game, too. It was amazing um to see how much Yeah. around the world we have. It’s It’s bananas. I mean, obviously a lot call in here as well. And I choose to call in when the vibes are good, which is my my I don’t like to call in with all the all that much negativity to be honest. It was a tough few weeks for everyone. Um even though I I remember saying after week one or during the week one game I said to my wife, “Well, I don’t care if we lose this game. I’ve seen enough. They’re doing great.” Famous last comments, right? Um, I mean, just on the trade stuff, I mean, I think, um, I agree with like not trading Bree because what are you going to get? I mean, you basically have to replace him with what, a third or fourth round even and it’s totally no guarantee. Um, but doesn’t that apply to everyone? Like, if we were to try trade Will Will McDonald, don’t we then have to find him somewhere again in uh in the second or or third or or or with free agency, which is even more expensive, I think, for DN. So, yep. I don’t know. It’s uh I I feel like we can only afford to trade where we have surplus like at linebacker maybe. Um although Yeah, because we already paid Sherwood. I guess we already committed to him. Um and then Michael Carter, but I I heard you say that uh Cisco’s injured. Is that is that is he done for the year? He could be. He’s going to need surgery on a pectoral, so he’s probably done. So Tony Adams inserted back into the starting lineup. So Woody Johnson, is he going to rip Tony Adams? He got him benched last year. He ripped fields and it worked. So maybe he needs to say something negative about Tony Adams and he’ll go out there and play like Ed Reed against the Brown. Master motivator, right? My god, what a crazy banana. Um I mean it worked though. I funnily enough I I was also going to mention I don’t know if you have ever have you ever seen the guy who does this QB school on uh on YouTube? I have. Yeah, he did one on this week, right? Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Did you watch it yet? I I haven’t watched it. But I saw he did it on fields though. I watched it last night and I thought it was really good. Um I think also for us Jet fans to deal with like the frustration that is like what is he right? Can he do it? Can he not do it? And it’s a really good uh in-depth analysis of it. Um he obviously gives him a lot of praise in the right moments, but you still see even in like I think there’s four or five like really good plays where he’s still too late actually, right? where like he’s completed the passes. They’re 20 25 yard plus passes, but there’s a hitch in there and there’s and that’s the thing that like if he can’t get that out of his game, I think we’re always going to be frustrated with him. I think that’s just the the way it is. And if he can somehow fix that and not get this not get the second hitch and wait that extra half a second, if he can somehow get that out of his game, then there’s a you know an enormous ceiling there. But I don’t know if that’s doable after I mean what is it his fifth year now? Uh but all the schemes from uh what’s his from u our offensive coordinator Tanner that all looks pretty amazing I got to say like so many people open all over the place. Uh, so I I find it all quite promising in that way. But yeah, with Fields, it’s just it’s always going to be frustrating unless he can just get that second hitch, that that one second or whatever, however half a second, whatever it is, out of his uh, you know, out of out of his habits cuz uh, it looked pretty fluid. Well, I thought so, too. Garrett being there. Maybe he wasn’t looking for Garrett all the time and then listing spots elsewhere. So I I thought maybe he just ran the plays as called instead of maybe trying to get Garrett the ball and he he looked really good in the pocket. He did. No, absolutely. I agreed. And but it was funny to see in the in the replay like I never look at the all 22 and so all this, you know, very in-depth stuff. Um but when you look at it uh with that detail, it was it it was very interesting to see. I mean, he still pulled it all off, but there was even, you know, the little unnecessary hit here and there, and it’s like, oh man, if he can get rid of that, he could be superb. That’s who he’s been, though. That’s the problem. He has that long release it. Yeah, exactly. I It’s And if it’s not going to If it’s not fixable for whatever reason, if it’s mental, you know, whatever it is. Yeah. Then, you know, then he’s at best a bridge next year and, you know, maybe just a backup as well. Yep. I who knows. I I’ll say Fields playing well is a good thing because you don’t want to have to just get rid of him, take a $22 million cap hit on top of the Rogers cap hit on top of drafting a rookie quarterback in that cap hit and having to still, you know, spend 8 to10 million to get a legit veteran to play for you if that rookie is not ready and you want someone there to help mentor the kid anyway. So, like, it’s just a lot of money to sink into quarterbacks who aren’t on your team, which is why Woody’s comments were so dumb. hopefully Fields could play well and you know there’s no animosity between him and the organization where he’s requesting a trade and you can’t keep him around for a young quarterback you know 100% 100% and what you what you’ve been saying as well is like it doesn’t matter what what pick we have you know we don’t have to sit there at the demand number one two three pick um because not only the number ones that you’ve been highlighting that haven’t made the Super Bowl I think you were saying this week um it’s also like people that have been getting second contracts recently, you know, also still haven’t proven it. Like look at Tua, right? I mean, even Justin Herbert, who I think is great, but he hasn’t won a playoff game. Um, you know, or uh who who else? There was another person that uh got a second Trevor Lawrence got a second contract also still, you know, uh kind of up in the air with that. So, um you know, Kurt Cousins, he’s the best of quarterbacks. Yeah, I think so. And because at first I thought it was, oh, he doesn’t have the talent around him. Then I thought he didn’t have the coach, and now it’s like, wait a minute. What What is it? But we’ll see. I mean, he’s he’s still really good. But uh I mean, it’s it’s it’s a tough tough tough position, and we all know this. There’s only a very few people that can do it. Um and uh well, anyway, I was very encouraged with Justin. I was very encouraged with the team. I thought the I mean, you know, even Aaron Glenn with his decision makings and and aggressiveness and two point conversions and everything was uh was worth it all. So, let’s go Jets. Rick, love it, man. Great call. Hope you’re doing well out there. [Applause] Here’s a little more on my point on it doesn’t matter where you pick, it’s who you pick. Right. So, I I gave the stat the last 10 number one picks in the draft at the quarterback spot, zero Super Bowl wins. And we can go through it. They all have had varying degrees of success. A lot of the success is not even with the teams that actually drafted them. But this graphic, I don’t know who originally posted it, otherwise I attribute it to them, but it’s been making the rounds on social media. You see the column, first QB drafted in the year, and then who actually was the best quarterback out of that draft class. And most years, right, if it’s in red, it means the first quarterback drafted was not even the best quarterback of their respective draft class, right? And some of the years where they were, it was almost by default. Kyler Murray, Trevor Lawrence, Jameus Winston, it’s by default. Burrow is the last like, hey, number one pick. Clearly the best guy. Went to a Super Bowl and even he is not a perfect player cuz unfortunately he’s had durability issues which is why he didn’t play the Jets on Sunday. So, like, let’s calm down with the draft pick, and let’s focus on winning games, establishing winning habits, and giving uh this new quarterback, who whatever, whoever it ends up being, the best opportunity to have a chance to succeed here, unlike Sam Darnold. Like, let’s feel good about Angstrom. Let’s feel good about Glenn. Let’s feel good about, you know, guys on this team improving throughout the year. The O line look great. Membu’s had an awesome rookie year. Olu’s taking big steps forward. Tipman’s a legit uh guard for you. Mason Taylor looking like a legit player for you. We know Garrett’s Garrett like that. That’s what I’m more focused on. They need to win games, man. They’re not going to win, you know, their next nine games and finish 10 and seven, right? They’re probably not going to win more than five games, right? So, let’s see real improvement. And that’s why I think winning after the buy against the Browns when you’re at home and you have a an advantage in a lot of key areas like talent and quarterback, find a way to win and keep building on this. That’s what every Jet fan should be rooting for over the final nine games of the season. Yeah, I I think the most important thing with what we saw the first seven losses is the eye test. I thought Glenn coached really well this week and it it obviously helped lead to the win. I think we need to see him improve. We need to see the coaching staff improve. Angstrand got better as a play caller. I think the eye test overall is more important to me than when what the record may end up being. Show that the job isn’t bigger than you, Glenn, because for the first seven weeks, there was a lot of moments where it was. Show that you deserve this job. Show that you’re going to be here long term. Put your imprint on the team. You saw that the team really celebrated him the other day. So, anyone who was pushing out stories about, oh, he’s going to lose a team. He’s going to lose a team. It didn’t look like that team was lost in the locker room the other day. That’s what winning does, right? That’s what winning does. Absolutely. Absolutely. So, just keep building upon it. You know, pass the eye test week to week. We know we don’t have the quarterback to go out there and win against the big talented teams, but there’s no reason you can’t go out and beat Cleveland. You can’t beat Atlanta. You can’t beat Miami. You can’t beat New Orleans. You know, there there’s games to be won out there. and just compete in the other games and show that you’re close and show that a quarterback will help put you to another level. And who knows, maybe maybe Fields getting called out is is the match under his ass that he needed to to, you know, to get motivated and get going. You know, he’s real he’s got to realize this might be his last chance to be a starting quarterback. Go throw the damn ball. Why hold it? Just get rid of the ball. If the scheme is that good, get rid of the ball. Guys will be open. He threw with the anticipation to Johnson on the first touchdown. That was a great anticipation. Got the ball, took the hit and and released it on time. So, give me more of that. Comments, questions, super chats. They cut the line. How about this from Eric? Says the brickishaw needs to be inspired the hall of fame. Hey, Jake. Hashthe vault. Um, I don’t quite understand what he means here. Like, did did he confuse Mangle for De Brickaw or is he saying De Brickaw also is a Hall of Fame caliber player? But either way, Eric, thanks for supporting the channel, man. And uh I loved it. Brick Shaw. Proud of Freeport, Long Island. Never missed a game, never came off the field for the Jets. I mean, he’s he’s a legend, as is Mangle. Both guys rightfully in the Jets ring of honor. I think Mangled has a a legitimate chance to be a Hall of Famer where Brickshaw would be in the hall of very good. Yeah, I I to me Brickshaw was was a constant. He was reliable. He was never a top three tackle in the league at any time. You know, he’s he was a very good player, but I don’t think he’ll ever get anywhere near the hall. Mangled, seven Pro Bowls, two all pros, beloved player, you know, and that matters when people are voting for something you you all pro does. All pro matters because it means you’re the best of the best of your position. And and De Brickaw was a three-time pro bowler but never was an allp pro. Yeah, that’s not I don’t even know if that’s good enough to get into consideration for the voting. I think you have to have a certain amount of criteria to even be put in the uh the opening rounds. But Mangold, I I hope I hope it happens soon, you know, and I’ve said this and I’m curious to see with the tragedy that just happened that that affects people’s voting. I think we all know he was going to get in at some point, but uh I I hope he just gets it this year. He really deserves it. Yep. That’d be great for his family to get to uh experience that. Well said. Let me get to the remaining super chats here, then we’ll get back to your calls. Again, for those tuning in late, great giveaway today in honor of Nick Mangled. A Nick Mangled jersey is the top prize up for grabs. If you don’t win, you’re entered this week to win a field signed jersey, a signed wing for football, and a to be determined autographed Nick Mangled item that I’m currently bidding on. Could be a jersey, a football, or a helmet. Stay tuned for when I lock something in. Les says, “I really hope we’re shopping for a wide receiver, too. There’s some good quality wide receivers on the trading block, per rumors.” Uh, I I mean, am I against the Jets adding a receiver if it makes sense? No. Would I be surprised? I would. And I’m not really sure which teams are going to trade a receiver. Doesn’t sound like the Saints are going to trade Chris. Like, I don’t want Brandon Cooks, who’s not going to be here, like guys who are old and veterans. Like if you can get someone like a Brownley who’s young and ascending and is somehow available, those are the type of moves I think the Jets would be interested in making not making moves for a guy who’s a rental. You’re not going to make any sort of rental move when you’re one and seven. I don’t think we’re going to be buyers at all. I don’t think we’re giving up draft picks for anyone. And if it is somebody, it’s going to be a draft pick that you don’t want to give up. So, you know, we just want a game and put up the most amount of points this season without our first and second wide receiver. So, as much as we might want depth, this this team right now is going to be about running the ball and and that’s what’s most important to them. So, I I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one. Gentlemen, comments, questions, super chats. Kind of a followup to what we were just discussing. Mad Team has been a channel member for 20 months using his free super chat. You get when you’re a channel member with Muji stealing JBJ from Tennessee instead of trading everyone. What players can the Jets actually add? That’s the question. I don’t know. I mean, I No one thought that the Titans would trade away a young corner who’s on a rookie deal for the next three seasons. So, uh, that was a big surprise. Uh, I I don’t know because quite frankly, how did anyone expect Brownley to be available in the first place? And now we know why Tennessee fans were so irate when that trade happened. We’re seeing it firsthand ourselves. This this is a really, really tremendous trade by Mooch. You know what it’s like? It’s like when we traded JFM for nothing and we knew that was a bad deal immediately. Yeah. Yeah. He’s he’s a really good player. He’s bought into the culture. He’s part of the identity immediately. So, really good find. And, you know, sometimes it takes luck. You got to call the right team at the right time. And we don’t know why Tennessee moved him, but hey, we’ll take it. And he’s going to be a Jet for a long time. He he he fits what they want to do, man. Just want to follow up on Eric’s super chat here. He’s in the raffle for two more. I meant Ferguson should be in the Hall of Fame. Also, I’m biased with Brick as we went to high school together. Auto correct took over. Am I missing an event happening with Mangled? Eric, appreciate you, man. Didn’t realize you’re a Freeport alum. I once watched uh Siosid High School go into Freeport my senior year in Wind, which was a an awesome day. Drove past uh Dickshaw Ferguson Drive where the high school is, which is pretty cool. Um, as far as an event with Mangle, I have not heard of anything going on specifically with like, you know, a uh memorial for him or anything. I mean, Mangled is so beloved that like, yeah, you might need to like use Metife to have like the memorial service for the guy. I mean, that’s how many people uh love the guy. But I have not heard of anything just yet. If I do, I obviously will share on the show and, you know, spread the word to this community here. Um, so appreciate your super chat though, man. Thanks for tuned into the being tuned into the show. This one is from Spencer who says, “No, it’s only almost November. Still doing cruise and have you decided on draft party location going to pit?” Nothing’s been decided with the draft because I want to see where the Jets end up picking. If they’re picking number one, could we take the show on the road to Pittsburgh? Absolutely. Even if they’re picking number two, uh I just want to see kind of where the rest of the year goes. We still got time for that. As far as the cruise, uh, we shared this before, but for those who didn’t hear the announcement, cruise is currently off due to a lack of people signing up by that initial deadline. So, the travel company I was working with, some of you guys met, uh, Andy Greenberg at the events we did over the summer, he p, you know, basically pulled the plug on it due to like not enough people committing up front because we had, you know, contracts done with all these jet legends and it’s like if we can’t get guarantees of enough people to sign up, it’s tough. Uh, I’m not saying it’s it’s dead forever, but it’s currently on hold, I would I would say. So, there’s your your cruise update. But as far as the draft party, we will have something. I just don’t know if it’s actually going to be in Pittsburgh or if we, you know, rent out Clinton Hall in New York City or a different great bar and, you know, we get our community all together and we have an epic night for the draft. So, TBD on that one. Big fella says, “We should trade for JPJ. Set the line for a decade.” I don’t know if he’s available. I don’t know. I don’t think he is. What are you willing to give up for him, big fellow? That’s the question. More of your calls now, shall we? Jordan’s next. Hey, Jordan. What’s up, Jake? What’s up, Nick? What up, buddy? I totally I totally agree with uh what you were saying about the Jets, you know, not trying to worry about the first overall pick and just building the team, building a solid team, filling out some of these holes and continue to, you know, set set a higher standard than what we’ve been these past few years. Um, I think that trading Will McDonald would be a huge mistake because we’re already thin at Dline and I think they just need to add to that. I don’t think trading will do us any good. And not only that, I feel like Will hasn’t done that good because they haven’t been in positions to really put him in a position to to succeed really because we’ve been behind so much, you know. And I know you’ve been saying that all season, Jake, but he’s a pass rusher and he has to learn to to to stop the run and do all that extra stuff by playing the game. Not only that, I think Quinnon William needs to step up if he’s not going to be traded. We all love Quinn, but I feel like he’s not making as big as an impact in these games as he could be. You know what I mean? We’re used to Quinn being dominant and run stopping and getting sacks and stuff like that. He’s just been very quiet these past few weeks. So, if he’s not getting traded, I would like to see him do better. And the last thing I want to say is that um damn, I done lost my train of thought. Uh I was I was watching Badlands last night and it made me uh think of a question that I wanted to ask you. Um while you’re thinking about it, I think that’s a great point on Will. You know, we finally played with a lead and Will was impactful right at the end of the game. We haven’t he hasn’t had those opportunities. So hopefully we get some more opportunities like that for him where he can affect the game down the end. And not only that, it’s like if you trade Will, who are you going to play? Michael Clemens, you’re gonna you’re going to start Michael Clemens over Will McDonald. Like it just doesn’t make any sense to trade well right now. It just doesn’t. You know, why would we take a a a position that we’re so thin at? Excuse me. that we’re so thin at to to to make it worse. It’s not we’re not going to get better by trading Will McDonald, you know. And Oh, I think I think it was about Bree because this this was Bree Hall’s first hundredyard game in in how many games? It’s been a little bit, right, since last year? No, he had a couple hundred yard games already this year. He’s like fifth in the NFL in rushing yards. Oh, okay. I didn’t know that. I haven’t checked the stats really, but it it’s just I don’t I don’t think it’s like I understand like we want to get draft picks and stuff like that, but like you were saying earlier in the week, Jake, you know, it’s a lot easier said than done to just find a third round guy to come in and replace Bruce or to replace uh uh Will McDonald or whoever it, you know what I mean? So, I just I just think we need to, you know, sell off some of these guys. Michael Carter, uh, who you know, whoever they feel is not going to fit here. Oh, that’s what it was. They were talking about Damen Sherwood and how he got benched, how he was benched for the first half of that game, but then Kiko got hurt and then Damen came in. Do you know why Sherwood was benched? Usually when someone misses a quarter, Jordan, it’s typically disciplinary reasons, right? He only was benched for a quarter. So maybe he overslept and missed a meeting or something happened, right? Because it’s not like he didn’t play. He came back in and played his usual amount of snaps from the specials, too. He was on kickoff and kick return. He just wasn’t on the defense. Exactly. He was a backup for the first quarter. Um anyway, let’s see. He’s just had three I just pulled it. He’s had 300 yard games this year. Yeah, I looked it up as well. He’s sixth in the NFL in rushing yards this season. Um he’s currently on pace for 1,235 rushing yards, which would be a careerhigh, and four touchdowns. He’s averaging five yards per carry, which is 10th among running backs. He’s second in third down run conversion percentage. He’s 12th in yards after contact per attempt. Second in explosive runs, that’s that’s runs of 10 plus yards. fourth and first down. So, he’s having a really good year. Obviously, you know, the touchdowns weren’t there till this week, but you know, that wasn’t necessarily his fault for that one. So, I don’t think they’re going to deal him. Now, David writes in with a super chat here. He’s in the raffle for five. The Jets having a very high waiver claim spot after the trade deadline. When vested veterans are subject to waiver claims, they can provide the Jets an unexpected opportunity. That’s how the Lions added Josh Reynolds in 2021. You know, one thing I’ll say about Joe Douglas was he was excellent with waiver claims. Found some really good players over the years on that. So, we will see. I think the best moves Muji’s made have been the inse inseason trades, right? Phillips breaks for six rounders, Brownley for a sixthrounder. You could say those have been really good moves by the GM. So, we shall see on that. Now, Green Gang is in the asmaniac raffle. He has sent in a five spot of channel memberships. Hit it, AG. Green Gang, thank you. Uh, a little breaking NFL news. Aiden Hutchinson and the Lions have agreed to a new contract. Multiple reports have it as a 180 million extension. 141 million in total guarantees. He was a guy that I was hoping the Jets could draft in 2022. They ended up taking S. Hutchinson went two picks before saw us number two to the Lions. That guy’s a phenomenal football player and I got a chance to interview him uh when he came to Houston for one of these college football awards uh that we did our show from and he could not have been a nicer guy. So I’ve always been a big Aiden Hutchinson fan. So Lions take care of one of their own and one of the most memorable rookie uh singing performances too on Hard Knocks. That’s right. That’s right. Uh wow. Four years 181 140 million guaranteed. So big money for a guy that probably going to play his entire career with the Lions. I mean, he’s from there. He played at Michigan. Like he’s the most beloved player on the team besides probably goth at this point. Yeah, homegrown players usually have the edge, right? I know the quarterback’s got the value, but he’s the guy up there that he’s the face of that franchise in my opinion. Second highest paid edge rusher now in the league behind Micah. So it’s Parsons making 46.5 AAV, Hutchinson 45, TJ Watt 41, Miles Garrett 40, Denil Hunter 35.6, Max Crosby 35.5, Nick Bosa 34. So he got paid big money. Yeah. Yeah. They’re getting quarterback money now. They really are. They really are. You’re not wrong. Uh let’s get to more of your calls, ladies and gentlemen. He’s searching for a job. Let’s hear from the man that we refer to as Bobby Midnight who joins us from Vermont. Well, you know I have my own YouTube show. If I’m awake, I’m going live. Bless now. Bobby, before you start your call, I was listening to the Michael K show. Yes. What was that? Two days ago. Yeah. You called in. Why didn’t you mention that you know me? Yeah. I told Didn’t I say I know you? I thought I did. You didn’t say a damn thing. I would call in today. I’m gonna call in. I like getting on his show because they let you on your show. When you call up uh WFN, somebody doesn’t let me in. He doesn’t like me. So, I like how you were like, “You were nice. Don Mattingly wasn’t.” You gave him the old Mattingly story that we’ve all heard a thousand times. And then I And then he uh uh he thanked me for that. He’s good. Uh, November’s coming around the corner, so hopefully Missy will get back to me and touch him. Oh, yeah. We’ve heard about Missy for years already. Years. It’s only been neck. It’s only been a little while. God. So, yeah, I got my MRI today on my toe. My left toe. So, they look at my left toe. My doctor was worried about it. So, so we went to the MRI today and I listened to they shut me off when sweet Caroline came on. Shut it off when that came on. But you know that happens. But it was only half an hour in there. What are you talking about? I had an MRI in my left big toe. I understand. But what does Sweet Caroline have to do with anything? Oh, when you’re in MRI, they let let you listen to music in there. It’s so loud. And you requested Sweet Caroline? No, no, I requested the 70s um pop music and then they put it on. They have like music. All kind of music. Oh yeah. You should have just said to them, “Do you want me to karaoke?” You just New York. Have you seen my show? Have you seen my Oh, I didn’t know. I didn’t say that. You know, they went you like in and out. We went in and out half an hour. Um, so I wanted Dodgers to win because Don Mal sends her on the blue days and then um, yeah, I felt bad. I think the Jets should not trade like Nick said, wait until the knees, get the trading if it’s good. If it’s not, don’t trade. Hey, Hal wants to see your toe. I’m not No, you do not. No, it’s it’s a well like uh six years ago me and Michael fell downstairs at the UMass Arena. So you both fell. Yeah, because you know how my right foot is in the top. I can’t feel it. I thought I was on the stair and Michael was in front of me. He went down first, then I went down second, then I kind of hit my toe against the railing and it’s the toe goes like that. You know, remember when you had dead maggots living in your toe? Yeah, that was Oh my god. Yeah. No, they were alive. They weren’t dead. They were Oh, great. Even better. Well, that was Bobby, just because the internet is really good at uh doing research, can you give us the year and uh the arena that you fell at and maybe people can find footage of this? Oh, it was I think was the they said I had an X-ray 2016. I think that could have been it. Oh, that’s a long time ago. And where was it? Dr. uh UMass uh down at UMass, you know, where the arena is. Okay. So, no, you can’t communicate the college. Um, he he said the Dr. Lewis said that you can’t do anything. It’s broken. You can’t do anything for a broken help. So, that’s what he told me. So, I guess that bone in there. They’re worried about it’s still in there. So, that’s the problem. All right. Well, thanks for grossing us out today, Bob. We’ll talk to you soon. Well, you brought up the maggots. I didn’t bring up the maggots. Yeah, you mentioned that. Sorry if you stick it out for a bit. Well, I’m not saying that as if it’s a bad thing. I just said thanks for grossing us out. I got other people on hold. You’re not I think I think your call served its purpose. You have anything more to add? Well, you Oh, I got one more thing. Good for you, too. In December, your girlfriend’s going to have a new movie called uh Housemaid Sydney Sweeney. It’s coming up. We broke up. Oh, you you didn’t know that. We did. Yeah. I like that girl you showed us on my show when you were up on top of the roof. She was a very nice lady. I forgot her name. Well, Bob, thank you. Farewell. Farewell. Well, you know, I’ve grown to love my buddy Allan, but has to go. I threw him off my show. Bobby, I have an entire folder of just Bobby and Beast clips all together, and we’re almost out of room. It was ridiculous when I hosted your show for you over the summer. Like I have some I have I have a folder and a half and I was like, “Oh my god, how does he It’s very impressive how you navigate all of that.” [Music] [Laughter] Oh no. You did great. Let’s go. How is it still coming out? It’s been 5 minutes. Oh, well, only the best for Bobby. Midnight. Spencer says, “Jac, have you heard Bobby do the young MA remix?” I have not. I have not. Spencer Eric writes it. He’s at the raffle for two more. Says, “Condolences to the Mangled family and the Jets family as well. Everyone have a good day. No one tells you today they love you. Just know I do. Stop the22day veterans suicide.” Amen. Well said, Eric. Appreciate you tuned in. RIP as always, too. Nick Mangled, paying tribute to him on the show. Been posting some shorts across Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, and um Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube shorts of some of the conversations I’ve had with Nick on this show over the years. So, we will continue to pay homage to a great Jet who’s number 74. Nick, I think should be retired, but I do think the Jets will have a big uh you know, you know, tribute to him during the next home game against the Browns. It wouldn’t surprise me if they have the number 74 decal on the helmet as well for the rest of the year. Yeah. I mean, listen, I know everybody gets tied up in the recency bias. Like when Kobe passed, people wanted to change the NBA logo. Like, everyone goes to the moon with suggestions to honor somebody. And and this is a tough time to have the conversation. I I I don’t know if it’s he’s at the level to retire the number. He was okay with Olu wearing it. He told Olu, you can take the number because Olu asked and Nick was all right with that. So, you know that those were Nick’s wishes for for Olu to wear it. So, I I I don’t know if it gets retired and but I I definitely think he gets honored. you’ll have maybe uh a decal up on the wall, maybe behind the end zone on the uh tarp around the surrounding wall for the games for this year. And uh I’m I’m sure they’ll have some sort of tribute for him, you know, the video package or or something. It’s that they’ll do it right. Ladies and gentlemen, more of your calls. Troy is next. Hello, Troy. Hey, Jake. How you doing? Hey, Nick. What’s up, Troy? Hey. Um, first time caller I think on your show. Wow. Welcome aboard, Troy. Welcome. Had a couple comments and questions. Um, I actually posted this early on BG’s show, Boy Green Show. Um, what do you believe in uh some of the older guys that are there like Quinnon that that’s been there for years and not winning? How do you think they how are they getting along in that that locker room and do they do you think they want out just kind of priest as well? I mean I think winning determines that texting things that’s saying free 20. So I mean what do you think of that? Yeah, I mean I think he he wants to win, right? But I think coming off that game where he played well, like I think if the Jets approach him with a contract extension, he would listen. Like I think you have an honest conversation like, “Hey man, do you want to be here?” And if he says yes, I I’m looking to keep him. Try and see if you could offer him a two-year deal that, you know, gives him some security and he’s willing to take it and and be a part of this. He’s only 24. He’s a good football player. He’s having a really good year. Like I’m with you. I think I think I think Glenn has not lost the room. I I was worried about him losing the room if he stuck with Fields and Fields was horrific. But coming off that win where Fields played well, that’s a credit to the coach getting buyin from his team and keeping his quarterback confidence level up. So, um I I think 320 as Black Gypsy just nailed it in the comments. That was more about him just getting an opportunity to get the ball because then he came out and said this week that he said to the coaches, “Hey, with Garrett not out, like give me the ball 20 to 25 times this game. Like, I want it on me if we don’t win.” And they did and they won. So, I think that’s what free 20 was more about than like, hey, I want to get out of New York. I believe that win this last week was big for that locker room and for the whole team, honestly. Agreed. Agreed. I think I think they needed it. You don’t You don’t want to be 0 and eight going into the by-week where there’s two weeks of negativity, one and done, the coach going winless, like all just a horrific conversations we’ve unfortunately had to have on all our shows because of how it looked until this past game. Most definitely. Hey, um, how do you feel about the, um, trading our possibly number one pick or number two pick and getting and trying to fill up the team full of Glenn’s guys. I wouldn’t trade my first round pick for anything because I I need it for quarterback this year and second round pick I might need to to potentially move up to get my quarterback depending on how many games the Jets end up winning. So, we’ll see. Uh, but I am not I I’m not trading my first round pick for anything. If you trade your first round pick, it’s to move up. It’s part of a package to move up. That’s right. So, who do you think as a quarterback? Obviously, that’s who you’re going to pick. I mean, who do you think’s worthy of that number one pick, but I think it’s really too early to to tell. We don’t know which ones are definitely going to declare. I mean, the the three names that are the most, you know, talked about as of now, and this changes constantly, it’s Fernando Mendoza from Indiana, Dante Moore from Oregon, and Tai Simpson from Alabama. Feels like it’s those three that are kind of in like the tier one bunch, but things change constantly. Yeah. Hey, I appreciate you taking my call, Troy. You got it, man. Great first call. Put you down on the raffle for two. There could be other quarterbacks that emerge, Nick, but I think those are the three for now. Yeah, Sellers is very intriguing prospect, but as a Jet fan, I don’t want to draft a guy that we have to develop from the pocket. I would rather take the guy who is the killer from the pocket immediately and and the other guys are better from the pocket. Sellers is by far the the superior athlete, but I’d rather have the guy that could beat you in the pocket time and time again and make those big throws and throw with anticipation and and make clutch throws. And I don’t see that from sellers. I see a great athlete who you have to develop and I don’t want to take that chance with the Jets. I’d rather get the great thrower. I am right there with you. Like to me, if I got to sacrifice a little bit of athleticism for a guy who’s like a great processor and could get the ball out on time in rhythm, especially if you’re keeping Angstrand, that’s what his offense is. So, I’m with you there. Um, absolutely. You you can’t you can’t take a guy that you have to develop from the pocket. We’re seeing it now with Fields, right? Sellers compass Fields. Tremendous athlete. Doesn’t really get rid of the ball on time a lot. Holds it too long and then breaks down to his athleticism and takes off. I I I do not want to go that route. Hit the like button if you’re just tuning in. Last chance to get in on the show. Last chance to enter our raffle if you want to win a Nick Mangle jersey coming up. Reminder, we’re presented by FanDuel Sportsbook. Jets are big favorites against the by-week over at Faduel. So keep that in mind. Oh yeah. Are we Don’t forget we can we can lose out on the trades, Jake. We can lose on the trades. Big favorites. Vegas is reacting to the Jet win. FanDuel’s oddsmakers have the Jets as a 10 and a half point favorite. They saw Aaron Glenn literally fly like a jet in the locker room and that’s all they needed to see to adjust the odds. I I will take the by-week on the money line. Ladies and gentlemen, we already got Woody Johnson making stupid comments or the comments getting revealed during the bye-week. We’re already taking hits during the bye-week. Ladies and gentlemen, more of your outstanding calls. This guy’s got a great beard. Holy [ __ ] look at that beard. Ain’t no Santa Claus. Papa Jet loves the cat. He’s one handsome [ __ ] It’s Papa Jet. Hey guys, you got me? Papa, what’s up? Hey, it’s messed up sad week, you know. Um, but as far as the trades go, um, if we do trade, I’m keeping JJ over McDonald. Uh, it’s not even close for me. Um, and I know you can’t pay everybody, you know, and I Quinnon’s probably gonna I don’t know when his deal’s up, but my order of keeping guys would be JJ, Quinn, and then McDonald. Um, even with JJ’s injuries, um, it’s just my, uh, two cents on that. And then as far as um the game on Sunday, I mean it was nice to get a win, but when uh my son texted me on Nick’s passing and uh it just knocked the wind out of me out of all of us, you know, when he came out and publicly and said he needed a kidney, I was just thinking, okay, he’ll he’ll get a kidney and he’ll be good as new, you know. And then what was it? Two weeks later, it’s just so sad, you know. And he was my favorite, you know, all my years of being a Jets fan, he was my favorite uh offensive lineman, and I love offensive line. That’s my uh belief to build up strong, you know, so definitely going to miss him. Um and I know people were saying, you know, Nick probably helped us get that win. Who knows? You know, I don’t know if it’s that or if just fate, but you go in all sports when something like this happens. That happens a lot. You know, the team just rallies, you know. I know when uh Dennis Bird um accident there. Our next game was against Buffalo and we had no business winning that game and we won it. I think it was 97, something like that. I think it was a Pat Lee um field goal at the end. Not sure on that, but uh Ley. Yeah. But Jake, this is a thought. Um and I think it’s a question of when and not if, but when Nick makes the Hall of Fame, what about like 200 raging as maniacs go to Canton all wearing 74 jerseys and just put them in, you know? Yes. It’s in the works. If it happens, I’ll be there. Yep. And I just say just show up in force. Even if there’s no seats in that stadium or wherever they have it, we can just be there and show force. They can hear us out outside the stadium, you know. So I I’m in if that well when it happens, not if, but when. But um lastly uh Sunday I was watching uh the Bills game because where I live the Jets game wasn’t on locally. So I was in a basement with a bunch of raging Bills fans and um every time they scored I had to hear that stupid ass Bills song they got cuz my buddy plays it every time. But anyways, at the end, so I’m following the Jets game on ESPN or whatever and I said, “Man, it’s this is a game here, you know, so the Bills game ended. I was just hoping, come on, CBS, go to the Jets game, you know, and they did.” So I got to watch like the last minute, but right at the very end with you, Nick, you know, they showed you there and I was like, “Holy cow, it’s Nick, guys. It’s Nick Shine. It’s Nick Shine.” Awesome. and they go, “Who the hell is Nick Shining?” I’m like, “Forget it.” I forgot where I was for a minute, you know. But anyways, you look good on TV, Nick. So Oh, thank you, sir. But that’s all I got. But Canton, Jake, we’ll be there. I’m with you, Papa. Amen. First win. I was there for Revas and Cleco. Mangled’s in. We will do a meet up in Canton again. 100%. And hey, shout out to Doug who just gifted five channel memberships to the community. [Applause] Hell yeah. Let’s get to your last remaining calls here. Let’s say hi to Eric Cannonball. Eric, hello Eric. Hey, Jake. Um, I definitely don’t think we should be trading Breeze if we’re getting anything under a third because, you know, we’re going to have a new rookie quarterback next year and you need weapons for him. We already only have one receiver. Brandon Allen’s banged up. We’re gonna bring You need someone you could dump the ball off to that can make things easier on your rookie quarterback, but we’ll probably trade him to the Chiefs for a fifth and he’ll be Saquon Barkley and we’ll look stupid and we’ll use that fifth to get another T Tyler Baron or something like that. Like a fourth or a fifth is Tyler Baron or Adrien Smith. Like it’s not someone who’s commit who’s helping your quarterback. I mean, I agree. All right. Like let’s not make the Darnold mistake again. Let’s get let’s not give our rookie quarterback any excuse for not having talent. Like, let’s make sure that we give them a running game, give them protection, which they should have in place. We already have an elite receiver. We have a good tight end, but let’s keep these building blocks together and coach them up. And I’m with you. I would keep you need weapons. And people think it’s so easy to just replace them because other teams have had success. But even other teams, it’s it’s with a like a safe round or whatever. It’s a rare occurrence and for us it never hits. So I say keep the weapons in place, get things rolling. See if you know Justin could be a bridge quarterback or if we’re starting day one, you know, we we need people there. I agree. I look I agree. I think if someone’s going to give you a huge uh you know, if someone’s going to give you a huge offer for a brace, fine. But I don’t think you’re going to get that for a running back in a contract year. So I I’ll only get anything worth it. He has more value to us than he does to any team that’s going to trade for him. So agreed. Yeah, that’s all I got for today. But, you know, just just hearing people say we should move on for Breeze for a fourth or a fifth is crazy to me. Yeah, I I agree. uh play the comp pick game if you want to really go down that path or just use the franchise tag and keep him here for another year. But it also depends on the franchise ideology, right? A lot of franchises don’t believe in signing the running back to a second contract because it’s a depreciating asset, right? So, we don’t know where they’re at. They could be of the mindset of we got to keep them or they could be of the mindset of we can just with the offensive line in place, we can draft the running back and replenish. So, it’s it’s going it’s definitely interesting to keep an eye on. It’s going to be one of the bigger storylines in the offseason is what do you do with Breeze if we don’t move him immediately. Ladies and gentlemen, hit the like button. Make sure you’re subscribe to the channel. Jack is next on the show. Hey, Jack. What’s going on, Jake? What’s going on, Nick? Um, yeah, I just don’t think it makes any sense to to trade Brace. Like, like you said, you’re going to get a fourth round draft pick at this point. You need to be looking at extending him long term. I think there’s this uh really lazy methodology and thought that like you can just go find a running back in the third or fourth round and they just grow on trees. Like I encourage everyone to go look at the running backs who have been picked in the third and fourth round over the last several years since Alvin Chimera. Like there’s a bunch of nobbodyies. There’s there’s 95% misses and a handful of backs like a Cam Scataboo who’s, you know, survived a whole seven games this year that make you that that could even come close to what Bree is going to bring to the offense. Um, you know, obviously like, you know, you don’t want to waste 11, 12, 13, 14 million on a running back if you can avoid it. Uh, but at the end of the day, like I look at this like Garrett’s getting paid $30 million and Breece is absolutely worth a third of what we’re paying Garrett Garrett Wilson, right? Like I I haven’t seen as much um creativity in involving Bree in the in the past game this year as we saw last year. But like you look at last year, he looked like he was basically playing wide receiver for for 50% of the time he was on the field. Um I’d love to see them get more involved that way. But I I think the you know the the idea of like him signing a two-year contract like in what world is Bruce Hall signing a two-year contract with the Jets, like it’s just not happening. Like a three-year maybe, but like you’re going to have to guarantee two years of that probably in order to get him to sign. I think it’s more likely that you’re going to get a James Cook level deal where it’s like four years, 45 million, 48 million, something along those lines. And you’re going to have to guarantee probably two and a half years of that contract in order to get them signed. So look at like $30 million, 48 million million uh total. And that at least buys you some insurance for the rookie quarterback that you’re probably going to be bringing in. uh any draft pick that you get from him, you’re just going to be using on um on trying to replace him and the odds say that you’re just not going to get the same caliber player. So, I I don’t look at the cap space at least in the immediate term when you consider like we’re not really paying a quarterback. Um you know, there going to be one coming in on a rookie contract. You’ve only extended Sauce and Garrett. Like, you haven’t really allocated any money anywhere. Like, use the third $12 million a year. Keep Breece here. um and make it life easier on the next quarterback you bring in. Totally agree, Jack. And like think about the amount of dumb signings the Jets have made over the years. And it’s like we know Bree, no matter how you feel about him, if he’s a great player or a good player, you know, he’s a good player at the bare minimum. I’ll keep him here. Like I know what he is. He’s a good football player. Like do we wish that maybe he was a little better? Okay, some of it might be. Look at the quarterback situation that he’s dealt with. Look at that the fact that the Jets are trailing in these games and they have to get away from the run. They really don’t have a ton of balance in his time here. So, I’m keeping them because they’ve spent money on such bad free agents and draft picks at the running back spot like, oh, Michael Carter, Michael Perine, you know, like they finally seemingly hit on Isaiah Davis and Brilon Allen’s a complete unknown at this point. We like his talent. I know what Bree is. He’s a good football player. I would like to keep him. Yeah. I mean, it’s hopefully we we He shows his value coming down the stretch, right? There’s some winnable games. We all thought the schedule got easier as the season went on. Get him the ball 20 times a game. Let him show his value. You know, maybe we’re underestimating what his contract might be because we haven’t seen him be that cowbell. We haven’t seen him be the workhorse. We haven’t seen him leading the Jets to victory. We’ve seen glimpses of it. But stay healthy, dominate, go rush for 1,200 plus, you know, push double digit touchdowns. Yeah, I I’m I’m fine with doing it. I just don’t know what the organizational standpoint is on running backs. Ladies and gentlemen, we will get to our final call momentarily, but first I do want to remind everyone out there that if you have yet to enter the Yasmaniac raffle, this is your last chance to do it. We’re going to give away a Nick Mangle jersey at the end of today’s show. So, it’s an opportunity for you to win that. And if you don’t win that, you are, of course, automatically entered to win a signed mangled related item. signed Wayne Crebette football and a signed Justin Fields jersey. So keep that in mind for those who missed yesterday’s announcement for the raffle. We did raffle 46. We’re on to raffle 47. Before we get to that last call, big fella says, “Thoughts on Woody having the balls to raise ticket pricings prices.” Also, have you seen the clip of the Jordan Travis interview? What Wood what he said? He won’t get better. We played it earlier, Big Fella. So, uh, you know, roll back towards the beginning of the show if you want our full thoughts on that. And I’m going to talk more about the season ticket holder thing, um, later on, but I mean, I had some thoughts on Twitter yesterday. For the life of me, I don’t understand why anyone would continue to get season tickets, and I’m not going to tell anyone how to fan. If you want to get season tickets, you do it. But my rationale is this. You’ll save money if you just buy on a per game basis. Unfortunately, the Jets have been so bad that we’ve now reached a point where basically by the end of October, you can’t even give these tickets away to people. People don’t want to go and it’s so much cheaper if you just go on the secondary market and just pick some games you want to go to. Buy a ticket and you’ll be ready to roll and save money. You don’t have the commitment of having to buy the preseason games, having the commitment to buy all the games even late in the year when I mean, if you’re trying to put it on the secondary market, you probably can’t even get 30% back of what you paid for them. So, you’re not like I just I think if you’re a season ticket holder, you don’t get enough from the Jets that warrants retaining your tickets. Like I get maybe you want to sit in the same seat every week, but that to me is not worth it over how much more you’re spending for a crappy product. They have the balls to raise prices again. It’s not like they do all these great perks uh for season ticket holders. You don’t get like this great prize pack like other teams give out to their uh season ticket holders every year. Like to me, it’s not worth it. You never get a playoff game because you got to win the division for that. So, there has not been a Jet home playoff game in over 20 years. It’s not worth it. I rather just go on a game by-game basis. If I still want to go to every game as a former season ticket holder, it’s very, very easy to get tickets. Uh, you can do it. Go look up whatever secondary market you decide to use. Just go look up and you’ll see all of the tickets are less than face value. So, I’m not going to tell people if you have the money, you want to spend it, spend it. But there’s many reasons why and it also sends a message to the organization when longtime season ticket holders start bailing and they just use prices too high as the comment. That’s the way you get change. You start canceling your season tickets and you tell them the reason is you’re pricing us out for a poor product. That’s the only way they will get the message. Unbelievable. Well said. Ladies and gentlemen, before we bring on our final call, we must first play a clip. Uh, didn’t watch his show today or actually the last couple of days. Ricky messed him up. We just had a uh difference of opinion as far as uh goes. If it came to blows, who do you think would win? You or Jake? Me. Yeah. Well, he’s a [ __ ] but he’s 20 years younger than you. Or you got to call Jake show second show today. I don’t know. Uh, I got some stuff going on. You just called him a [ __ ] on live air. He’s going to get you. I didn’t I didn’t even mean any shame by that. I was just I don’t want it back. I I meant what I said. I just didn’t mean it. I was just like pointing out the gator could have clipped that. It was just like an observation kind of thing. If Gator clips it, what does that matter to me? Like why do I care if Gator clips it? Well, I that wasn’t a polite thing to say even if I mean it. It wasn’t a nice thing to say, Jay. I I I apologize. I I wasn’t I was just saying who would win in a fight between you and Ricky. I didn’t mean anything by it, Jake. Um All right. So, Jake, who do you think would win a fight between you and Ricky? Now, look what you’ve done, Gary. No more protection from the Asmaniacs. had to pull you out of the chat and cast you down with the sodomites. Some time in here will feel like you’ve been run over by the lane train. You understand me? You catch my drift? Give him another 24 hours to think about it. See you later, Gary. Thanks for the time today. Shout out to Bobby for probably doing his best interview he’s ever done. Bob was followup questions, man. He was primed for that one. Bob was all over it, man. I I I I can’t thank uh Beast Breaker enough though, right? Related to Ricky NY cuz if you think about it, without Beast, Ricky’s show the other day would not have survived. So, I know people give Beast a hard time, but man, Beast deserves a lot of credit for this. Nonjets talk. Just hang guys. Call in. How’s everything going for you? Pretty good. I’m I’m going to have to do this. Either take 10 billion out and go get the love of Christ. [Music] 10 billion will have to be taken out. We have no choice. I look at it like and I I live but last my other team Florida then he said I already said next year why don’t we just go out and get some talent. We have to give them the test first and they have to pass all three tests. That means they got to have speed and they got to have charisma. Speed and charisma. If you don’t have these three things, what the hell are you going to do for the rest of your life? Eat it, Wendy’s. Why are you not [ __ ] producing? You gota start sick. Do you let him walk? And it’s okay. This guy’s right out of here. Right here. That’s gonna be get a new quarterback. Thank you, Beast. Appreciate Good lord. Wow. Well, guys, yeah, my Wi-Fi is uh beast saving the day, everybody. Be saving the day. What a moment in time. Remarkable. Good work, Gator. Both of them. Uh Gator question before. Uh what was his question? He asked that when uh Nameoth went to welcome Kleco to the Hall of Fame, who would do it for the Mangold family. He said Rex. But normally there’s a current member of the Hall of Fame that goes to welcome you to the Hall of Fame and it would probably be Reevas, right? Being a teammate of Mangolds and and being the most recent. I actually know the answer to this. He was very close with Alan Fanica to this day. Okay. So, I think it would be Alan Fanatic who’s in the Hall of Fame obviously and they overlap with the Jets from 2008 to 2009. Um, yeah, I mean Rex maybe could be there too with them. And I mean it’d be great to see Brick Shaw there and I know he’s super close with Willie Cologne. I mean that’s the thing with Mango, man. Like there were so many great tributes to the guy. Yeah. From everyone. Even people like I forgot played for the Jets. Like it’s it’s been really cool to see. just shows his reach and his impact on people, not just as a player, a teammate, but as a person, you know, it’s a shame that we have to honor him in this way at 41 years old with four small kids. Man, it’s scary as as a dad to just think of situations like that, you know, and for the kids as well. So, it it sucks, but you know, he he deserves his uh all the praise that he’s getting. Tremendous jet, tremendous human. It’s time to give away a Nick Mangle jersey to everyone who entered our raffle. We spin the wheel now. It’s time to announce the winners of the weekly Asmaniac raffle. Let’s spin the Jake Asmin show wheel of champions and find out which Asmaniac is winning an epic prize. 1. Watched this on delay. Holy smokes Bobby!! Forget the Pyramids the greatest mystery of the world is that Bobby ever had a girlfriend and actually had sex!!!!??? 😳😳😳😫😫😫

  2. McDonald for a 2 or 3 is good. Not a 4. Sign JJ. You can't pay more than two on the DL.
    MC trade is good.
Quincy trade is fine if they don’t plan on resigning him.
    Keep Breece
