As usual every Cards home day Westgate gets packed with fans, looked like a proper pregame scene the last time I walked through. I saw a few spots doing music and extra screens and heard one of the bars goes full Cardinals mode with food specials and fan playlists. Has anyone hung out at Westgate before a game? What’s the vibe, how early do people show up, and is it worth stopping there before heading into the stadium or better to park and tailgate?
Do people tend to show up hour two hour before kickoff or earlier if it’s a big matchup?

Yes, Salt y Tacos is reasonable on literally any other day than GameDay. They raise their prices for game days and I would prob eat anywhere other than West Gate if possible. If you’re dead set on it, just be prepared to pay more.
Can’t go wrong with any place there actually.
Westgate is an overpriced garbage can…I’d rather just tailgate than pregame at Westgate.
In terms of quality, drinks, food, etc., Thirsty Lion is the best place there. Aside from there Westgate kinda sucks if you’re picky. But there’s still plenty to do if you’re not picky.
Park West across the 101 has a Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers, Grimaldi’s, and some other places.
Overpriced and mediocre at best for any place there honestly.
Parry’s just a few miles south of the stadium has tons of beers on draft, great wings and real good pizza. All day Sunday is happy hour.

You can go to Park West, a couple miles away, and go to the Sicilian Butcher or Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers. The sushi place in park west is great. Westgate food is overrated
Either Bar Louie, Yardhouse, or Naked Q are the better ones.
Absolutely avoid Westgate. Don’t need to get shot.
