Someone has to call these guys out and hold them accountable. The coaching staffs solution to that is make an example out of two guys Logan Wilson and McKinley Jackson. If I was them Jordan Battle should be cut and Shemar Stewart would be sitting the bench for being one of the guys laughing off things in the locker room. Complete clown show.

You can put in whoever to be the defensive coordinator: Lou, Al, Santa, whoever….but the fact still remains that this defensive roster just can’t get it done.
It’s getting harder and harder for the organization to justify keeping Zac and Duke- they’re the only ones left to watch this defense as it’s eroded into nothingness.

I can’t imagine what the locker is like right now. League leading offence last season that still has a ton of legs with the Flacco signing, and to just get gutted week after week by some of the worst defensive outings this team has witnessed is just so deflating. The lack of ownership and accountability from the d roster makes it even worse.
I will never understand throwing yourself into someone like a body check instead of wrapping them up and trying to bring them down.

I think we must have a talent problem and to my understanding that falls on Duke Tobin. I am not really sure whether to blame Zac for The defense? But if so, then he deserves credit for the offense, right? Drafting or picking a DC, those are both ultimately The responsibility of Tobin, correct? I am trying to be objective and not emotional about this. But man this is so sad. And I don’t think Burrow changes anything at this point. Flacco, and even The offensive line to some extent, are playing more than good enough. And if anything I think people can realize just how good Chase and Higgins are.

Golden deserves a full offseason to try and track down his type of players in FA and the draft to build the system he wants to run. his scheme isn’t even necessarily bad, but it’s the fact that our guys cannot tackle that makes it seem like his scheme is bad.

Zac on the other hand I’m at my wits end with, however, play calling has much MUCH improved on the offensive side of the ball since Flacco came in, I do have to give him that. he simply is not a winning coach. he is not a good motivator. he is not hungry. he is not gritty. he can’t get guys to improve themselves.
seriously, who’s the last person who came from outside the bengals and got better while they were here? hayden hurst and cj uzomah are the only ones who i can think of, and that i think is more the case of burrow making his receivers look good.
but the blame doesn’t rest solely on his shoulders either.

– Burrow/Injured.
– C. Brown/Asleep the first half of the season. Good running backs find a lane or make their own when the offensive line is trash. Ask Barry. Ironically, he had the most negative yards as a running back, but we know him most for turning nothing into something. We can’t all be him, but stay the fuck awake.
– O-Line/Trash. Giving your QB 1.8 seconds to throw the ball up from 1.5 seconds is biggest punchline in the NFL. The QB is getting flushed every 2-3 plays. That’s not an improvement. That’s saying you should re-think your life choices.
Moving on…

– Defense/Yes, the whole fucking defense. Everyone. Every player. Every coach and coordinator. They are all a bunch of scumbags. Let’s be honest: Everyone on this fucking defense should get released. Maybe keep like 2 guys, but that’s not enough. I’d fire everyone. You’re in the NFL. You’re at the highest level and you get paid MILLIONS to not even do your job. Imagine that. I will die a Bengals fan. I won’t die a Brown Family fan, a Tobin fan, a Blackburn fan, no. I’m loyal, so not only am I staying put like many of the great fans in Cincinnati that are just as tired, but I actually give a shit about the team. I don’t even live in Ohio and I know the great people of the Queen City are the very same people you can learn a thing or two from. You’re a bunch of bumbs and the Cincinnati Bengals are a product of their environment. Not the city environment, no. Their business environment.
