‘They didn’t disappoint’ 🔥 Trevor Lawrence praises Jags’ Defense after OT Thriller vs. Raiders

All right, thanks a lot, Trevor, man, what a finish here in Las Vegas. You were kind of helpless there watching your defense there on the final drive. What is going through your head hoping that they make the stop? You know, obviously it’s a crazy game, a lot of back and forth, and it felt like we’d really had each other’s backs playing complimentary football and um obviously we’re relying on them there and they didn’t disappoint, you know, made it a little stressful at the end, but made a play when we had to make it and a win is a win, you know, obviously it’s crazy one overtime, but win’s a win. A win is a win and it was a slow start for you guys offensively, but scoring on your final 6 possessions of this game, what kind of rhythm did you guys get in? Oh, he didn’t like the reach on 4th down. Coach Chad. I felt like we got in a good rhythm, you know, Honestly, all day I felt like we were moving the ball consistently, a couple, you know, penalties, self-inflicted wounds like we talked about, you know, in the past, and we were able to clean that up in the second half, and then obviously I had a bad turnover early in the RedZone that hurt us as well, took some points off the board. So once we got past that, I really felt like we had a good plan and could just go play. I know you guys wanted to bounce back here after the B. How did you like the response of this group? I love it, you know, I mean, we got a couple of guys down, guys, you know, we’re ready and stepped up and made plays. A couple of receivers, you know, weren’t able to go. BT was a little dinged up at the end of the game and guys stepped up and made plays and same thing on defense. So it’s cool to see the whole group come together and just find a way to get it done.
