Game Highlights: Sixers Handle Business in Brooklyn
We got back on the same page. It’s all that matters. We all make mistakes. Just write that wrong. Tyrese Maxi starting us off with a signep triple. And Jabari betting on himself with our Sixers this year as well. Tyrese Maxi tried to sneak it down to a Demona. Adm picks up the loose ball and gets the second one to go. Yeah. Yeah. It looked like he bobbled it and lost control, but somehow as it was loose, he was able to get enough control on it to push it over to his team teammate for a finish. And here’s Kelly getting downhill. Just continuing effort whatsoever. Gets to where he wants and just elevates straight up and down for Kelly. Bona takes it away from Claxton. Numbers here for the Sixers. Kelly Omray Jr. carving out a little bit of space getting past Quinton all the way to the cup as he turns the corner. Great cut by Maxine. A perfect find from Quinton Grimes. Good ball movement. Good movement without the basketball as well. off for the over the shoulder catch there against a couple of former teammates and laying it up and in. He’s so hoping to have those guys back shortly. Tyrese Maxi left alone on the wing and you do not want to do that. Maxi over to Watford. Spent the last couple of seasons here in Brooklyn and Watford gets the roll. Taken away clear for takeoff. Oh, Zier Williams off the bench for Brooklyn. Andre Drummond on the alleyoop from Quinton Grimes. Why not? VJ too strong. Walk for the rebound. Go. [Music] And this is where I say I love working with you. Maxes to launcher. Ivari spinning and laying it up and in. Although that was one of my favorite Halloween costumes. All the parents coming up. One in a six. You my door left. Maxi from way outside. Tyrese Maxi drills it. Michael Porter Jr. finally got going. Had 12 in the third. Trenton Grimes had the last seven for your Sixers. Brendan Watford a little pully ball underneath. Four and one on the year. That’s four and five on this early season. Oh, what a block by Edwards. Plenty of articles, listen to podcasts, no chance. I’ve got young family members and I they still haven’t been able to tell you. Watford from the corner for three, which is half of six. Wilson slow to get to one less than seven. And a block by Watford on the corner three. There’s the former net. Good look. No look to Andre Drummond with the reverse. Good action again. The 76ers on a 70 run with buckets like that. And Quinton’s got a a double double here tonight. Drummond knocks that one to Watford. Numbers for the Sixers. Grimes behind the back. Watford lays it up and in. What a fast break for the Sixers. Count it. And the foul. Another look. Watford gives it up. He knows he’s getting it back. Just leaves it for him. Excellent behind the back pass from Quinton Grimes. Watford absorbs the contact and finishes and smiles all around for everybody in red, white, and blue. Play brought to you by Toyota Grimes lays it up and in and he’s bounc back to work. Two more for Jen Broom. Standing know how much work and hours these guys on the floor put in. Up top to Edwards.
The Sixers bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 20+ point win over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday. Kelly Oubre Jr. led all scorers with 29pts while Tyrese Maxey and Quentin Grimes each tallied over 20pts in the contest as well.
