Cubs Fan Reacts to Brewers’ Ridiculous NLDS Celebration

It’s abundantly clear that the Cubs live rent free in the Brewers minds. On Saturday, the Brewers beat the Cubs in game five of the NLDS to advance to the championship series against the Dodgers. And while this was one of their biggest wins in franchise history, instead of celebrating their accomplishment, they decided to bash the Cubs. Now, when this series began, I thought the Brewers were just having some good, clean fun with the Cubs. They played some slow music during batting practice. They opened the roof just enough so that the sun was shining on the Cubs dugout and not the Brewers dugout. But after seeing the Brewers hoist the L flag in their team photo after winning the division series, I realize that this organization actually prioritizes the Cubs misery over their own success. But at the same time, I kind of get it. After all, your beloved manager did choose the Cubs over you. That’s got to hurt. So, I get why William Contrarus and Abner would be bitter at council. In case you missed the whole backstory, this whole phone hand gesture thing was from a home run hit back in July where Craig Council went immediately to the bullpin phone. This was kind of a weird one if you ask me. And I also get it that despite owning the Cubs for the last eight years, yes, I can admit that you’d be upset that over that same time span, over half of the seats in the stands were filled by Cubby Blue, thus deeming your park Wrigley North. So, I get it. The Cubs misery is your top priority. And by the way, if you didn’t get this, this is a knock on the organization, not the fans. But for those fans that have been asking, how can you hate the Brewers? I think you have your answer. Cubs fans, maybe I’m just being naive, maybe I’m being biased, but I really truly believe if the Cubs had won game five, they would not be bashing the Brewers publicly.

  1. Lmao this rivalry is the best thing to happen to the central since the Cardinals started falling off. Don't lie bro you know us Cubs fans would be doing the same thing! Congrats Brewers and go f$#@ yourselves! Respectfully. Also disrespectfully

  2. They will be home soon anyways with us watching it on television. You can host your own L flags. Borrow ours! We are generous. You aren't winning this year either 😂😂😂

  3. Yet another BIG L hung on the brewturds baby!!!!!!!
    🧹 SWEEP 🧹!!!!!!!!!!!
🧀 head brewturds getting swept 🧹 baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. If you keep stupidly blaming Counsell for all things bad on the Cubs you obviously didn't watch the playoffs to see the bag full of crap choices left for Counsell by Hoyer from last winter and the deadline 😮 that exposed the truth! Despite Counsell being lambasted every day for everything outside of world hunger he still took the Cubs to the playoffs while watching almost every crap pitcher Hoyer brought over get rocked, The lineup constantly swinging for home runs, No real closer, A pop gun hitting third baseman hitting 220 all year, Losing his top starter at the beginning of the year, No real lead off hitter and so on! 😮 WTF! People can't see the forest through the trees as to who's team this is ? 😮 HOYER!!!! 😮

  5. Cubs/Brewers is a lot like Cubs/White Sox. The Cubs just don’t notice they are even there. Win or lose to those teams they are irrelevant to the Cubs. Those fans energy is focused on hating the Cubs more than liking their own team. Cubs fans have a better sense of what’s valuable and what’s not.

  6. Could you be any more salty? You don’t live rent free in the Brewers’ minds, clearly they live rent free in YOURS if you care enough to cry about it😂

  7. Looks like that big L behind the turdcrew was warranted after all.
    SWEEP 🧹 BABY!!!!!
And the World championship drought continues…….

  8. Chicago salty much? Being it the Packers, Bucks or Brewers your Chicago teams are the minor leagues. It's been this way for over a decade. Remember when Lovey was brought in and he said his number one priority was beating the Packers. So it obviously goes both ways. But i get it, passive aggressive behavior by you because you lost a close play off series.

  9. Well, little bro has been dominating big bro for quite some time now. If council wasn’t on the other side, I doubt they would do this. We’ve seen them beat the Cubs plenty of times before. I’d rather see professional players care too much than not care at all.
