$30M+ per year for zero production. Think any team needs a 30+ year old defensive linemen with a huge contract that is lazy?

  1. I was told he was saving it for the playoffs. Well with the way this season is going he may not get that chance.

  2. His production was always going to slow down but it’s bullshit how he’ll take a dump on his teammates for their effort but then be MIA for games at a time.

  3. Laughing at the bank. Love him and what he’s done, but he’s the definition of mid this year.

  4. Probably standing around watching the play unfold with his hands on his hips. Least effort, most exhaustion. How does that happen?

  5. Been asking that since they paid him all that money. Dude makes like 2 plays per game – some were big, admittedly, but he doesn’t earn the salary. I’m not sure why it’s so difficult for some people to admit that.

  6. Counting his money after sitting out, getting his contract, and then doing jack shit. The only time I see a close up of CJ any more is crying during the National Anthem.

  7. I’ve seen him give up contain on the edge several times.

Real talk though, he gets double teamed at a super high rate. In the past, between him being able to beat those double teams frequently enough, ALONG WITH other pass rushers taking advantage of him being double teamed, was enough to get some pressure.

This year neither of those things are happening

  8. he’s a waste of money. there that’s the conversation. there is no making up for the opportunity cost lost this season on him

  9. I seen him line up offside about 25 times. I was waiting all game for the big moment when Cheffers needed to bail out the Bills to call it.

  10. Just saw him at McDonald’s…..the kid behind the counter kept saying “I’m NOT giving you a free Big Mac unless you earn it!!!”

  11. Averaging 2 tackles/game. Amounts to about $800K/tackle. Good news, finally has more tackles than game costing mistakes.

  12. Really where is the rest of the DL? They have 1-1s they aren’t winning. Chris just gets doubled

  13. How do we get out of the contract? can you add void years to an existing contract? Are we just fucked for the next two years?

  14. Dont worry, his cap hit next year is only $44M with a $47M Dead cap number. That drops after 2026 to just $19M instead of paying the $38M and $45M in 2027 and 2028
