5 sacks, 3 ints, and 3 forced fumbles. Today was a good day.

  1. It was great to see. Now lets just maintain even half of that and shore up pass coverage a bit more

  2. Even if they don’t get those turnovers that win the game, the defense was just everywhere. Previously when things were not working there was no pressure up front, no tackling and no one was close to receivers.

Even when jones was completing passes there was a Steelers glove within a few feet ready to snatch the ball and when they completed it it seemed like it had to go through the hands of another 1-2 Steelers.

If thats how they are going to keep playing it will take something special to beat us.

And I imagine some days the offense will really cook and drop 40+ with that many possessions.

  3. I just don’t understand if the defense can play like that why were they absolute dog shit for the last couple of weeks?

  4. I’m thrilled by the run defense this year man. Jacobs and Taylor are the top 2 RBs in the league in terms of rushing tds this year, we played them back to back and they scored 0 tds and ran for an average of like 3 yards per carry. We should trade for a safety before the deadline though. Maybe get Minkah back lol

  5. Enjoy the win and all… but what you saw today was the real Daniel Jones. This is how he played for six long awful years in New York.

  6. I gotta say this, even with the garbage time field goal, it’s still concerning the Steelers only had a 10 point win with 6 turnovers.

It was New England all over again, defense acts like the typical Steeler’s defense should and suddenly the offense starts to struggle.

  7. I think in the post game interview, Rodgers said Jalen Ramsey had a speech to the defense last night. Looks like the leadership jacked them up for today. Good to see.

  8. Besides slay they played a great games. Fully prepared for them to be Absent against the Chargers next week though. As is tradition.

  9. I dropped them last week as my fantasy football team defense. Would have likely won this week if I kept them. But real team always comes before the fantasy team and enjoyed the win today.

  10. Oooof the r/colts sub is having a tough go. We were all in the same place yesterday, so it was some nice schadenfreude

  11. Porter Jr. was the defense mvp for me, yeah Watt put in a lot of work, but holy shit. An INT, multiple tips. He shut it down today.

Edit: may as well make him my flair

  12. I told my wife to bench our defense for the game.

She is a colts fan who has JT as her running back.

Everyone expected him to have two hundred yards of offense and at least 3 TDs.

We were the spoiler of the year so far.

I hope we are every week going forward.

  13. Now THIS is the Steeler defense of old! This game may be an outlier but I’m still cautiously optimistic that if our D can force turnovers and sack/harass the opposing QB’s like we did today on a CONSISTENT basis we could make a run deep into the playoffs. Wilson, Watt, Highsmith, Heyward and even JPJ had strong games. Our run D was great. We just need to tighten up our pass D. Rodgers will put us in a position to win as long as our D can get off the field on third downs.
